    Abstract: A method for repairing a part and the resulting is disclosed. The method includes positioning a plug having an inner braze element coupled thereto into a cavity defined by an internal surface of a component. The cavity has a circular cross-section at the external surface of the component. The plug completely fills the circular cross-section and the inner braze element is within the cavity. A braze paste is positioned at least partially around the plug at the external surface. The component is positioned such that the inner braze element is above the plug. The component is subjected to a thermal cycle to melt the inner braze element around the plug, completely sealing the cavity by forming a metallurgical bond with the plug and the internal surface of the component. During the thermal cycle the braze paste is melted to form a metallurgical bond with the plug and external surface.

The method further includes heating the repair material utilizing the induction brazing coil to a temperature sufficient to cause at least partial melting of the repair material, thereby effecting a brazed joint between the treatment area and the repair material.

    Abstract: A multi-state memory and a method for manufacturing the same. A magnetoresistive tunnel junction is disposed on a spin-orbit coupling layer, and thermal annealing is performed after dopant ions are injected from a side of the magnetoresistive tunnel junction. The concentration of dopant ions in the magnetoresistive tunnel junction has a gradient variation along the direction that is perpendicular to the direction of the current and within the plane in which the spin-orbit coupling layer is located. Symmetry along the direction perpendicular to the direction of the current is broken. In a case a current flows into the spin-orbit coupling layer, resistance are outputted in multiple states in linearity with the current. The multi-state storage is achieved. It can meet a requirement on hardware of neural network synapses, and is applicable to calculation in a neural network.

    Abstract: A method and a system for visual localization based on dual dome cameras is based on two synchronized panoramic video streams output by dual dome cameras to solve the problem of fewer feature points and tracking failure, thereby achieving stable visual SLAM tracking. The depth information of the scene is restored via the two panoramic video streams based on the principle of triangulation measurement. The positions and postures of the dual dome cameras are calculated based on a principle of binocular vision based SLAM, so that accurate map information are obtained finally by evaluating the positions and postures of the dual dome cameras corresponding to the key frames and the depth information in the key frames. The disclosure makes up for inaccurate and incomplete depth information of the scenes in passive scene recoveries, which is suitable for vehicle and robot positioning, obstacle detection and free space estimation.
