  • Publication number: 20150215272
Abstract: Device identification code is generated by combining model code as model information and a communication identification number that is allocated to a communication adapter. Therefore, as long as an electrical device has a model code, it is not necessary to separately store in advance an identification code for identifying the electrical device. Consequently, it is possible to reduce the capacity of the storage device that is used for the electrical device, and as a result, it is possible to simplify the construction of the electrical device. Moreover, devices that form a network can be identified by using device identification code.

  • Patent number: 9046956
Abstract: As for a position input apparatus that, when a user applies a pressure to an operation area, determines a pressed position where the pressure is applied, the manufacturing cost of the position input apparatus is reduced. An operation plate is a flat plate having the operation area on one surface. A plurality of pressure sensors (pressure detection devices) detect, at respectively different pressure detection positions, a detection position pressure generated by the pressure applied to the pressed position. A pressed position determination device determines the pressed position, based on a plurality of detection position pressures detected by the plurality of pressure sensors.

  • Publication number: 20150142357
Abstract: A switcher transmits, to an extractor/signal determiner, a converted current signal generated by a current-voltage converter when a converted current signal determiner determines that the converted current signal is generated by transmission of a current signal over a communication line, in the meantime, performs a switch-over so as not to transmit, to the extractor/signal determiner, a converted voltage signal generated by a voltage sensor. In addition, the switcher transmits, to the extractor/signal determiner, the converted voltage signal when a converted voltage signal determiner determines that the converted voltage signal is generated by transmission of a voltage signal over a communication line, in the meantime, performs a switch-over so as not to transmit, to the extractor/signal determiner, the converted current signal generated by the current-voltage converter.

  • Publication number: 20150134794
Abstract: A device identification code for identifying an electric device is generated based on electric device information predefined for each electric device. Accordingly, it becomes unnecessary for a communication adapter to be provided with a memory device storing the device identification code for identifying the electric device. A structure of the communication adapter can be therefore simplified, resulting in an avoidance of a network complication. Furthermore, precise identification of the electric device constituting the network can be accomplished using the device identification code.

  • Patent number: 8970604
Abstract: A state display device capable of reducing a processing load applied to a microcomputer by performing part of a GUI process by hardware and a display method of the state display device are obtained. A rendering processing device starts a process in response to a rendering request stored in a rendering request region when a starting command is stored in a start/end instruction register. When a rendering request specified by an instruction address is a rendering termination request, the rendering processing means terminates the process performed in response to the rendering request, stores a termination factor in an interruption factor register, and issues an interruption to a central processing device.

  • Publication number: 20140347378
Abstract: A remote control, upon determining that a power-saving flag is on, or in other words, upon determining that the remote control is conducting power-saving operating behavior, decides on a monochrome image stored in a reduced image memory as image information to be read by a renderer. The monochrome image has ? the amount of information compared to a color image stored in a normal image memory. Consequently, in the case of power-saving operating behavior by the remote control, the renderer is able to read a monochrome image stored in the reduced image memory with less power compared to the case of reading a color image stored in the normal image memory. Consequently, power consumed in the remote control may be restricted in the case of power-saving operating behavior by the remote control.

  • Patent number: 8873607
Abstract: A sampler samples a receive signal received via a dedicated communication line. A data transfer rate adjuster measures a data transfer rate based on a number of start bit samples contained in the receive signal. A bit determiner makes a bit determination regarding the receive signal at the data transfer rate measured by the data transfer rate adjuster, to thereby acquire serial data contained in the receive signal. A transmitter sends, via the dedicated communication line, a transmit signal containing serial data sent by an MPU. An MPU communicator outputs to the transmitter the serial data sent by the MPU, and outputs to the MPU the serial data acquired by the bit determiner. The data transfer rate adjuster adjusts, when the transmitter sends the transmit signal multiple times at different data transfer rates, the data transfer rate based on the receive status of respective response signals thereto.

  • Publication number: 20140253091
Abstract: A power measuring device stores in a set phase relation storage whether the load connected to a three-phase, four-wire power source is inductive, capacitive, or neither of them, in other words whether the phase currents are ahead, delayed, or matching phases with respect to the phase voltages, and determines whether the stored phase relation coincides with the determined phase relation. Then, the incorrect connection that cannot be verified in the prior art, more specifically the primary conductors of the current transformers of the current xfrms that are all arranged reversely while the voltage terminals are connected correctly, can be detected as an incorrect arrangement.
