    Abstract: A lubricants value chain (LVC) may be managed by a computer-implemented method comprising: providing a plurality of data representative of a LVC and a plurality of hypothetical inputs representative of changes to the data into an isolated data processing environment; converting the plurality of data into one or more scenarios based upon the plurality of hypothetical inputs in the isolated data processing environment; filtering the scenarios based upon one or more properties thereof to create one or more filtered scenarios; processing the filtered scenarios to generate one or more optimized scenarios using a two-stage optimization algorithm in which first and second stages of the optimization algorithm are conducted in sequence and separately from each other, the first stage of the optimization algorithm comprising recipe optimization and the second stage of the optimization algorithm comprising value chain optimization; and determining from the optimized scenarios outputs that optimize profit within the LVC.

A first sidewall spacer extending along and covering a sidewall of the first stack is formed. The silicon layer is selectively etched to a first predetermined depth, thereby forming a second stack. The remaining silicon layer includes a silicon base. A second sidewall spacer extending along and covering a sidewall of the second stack is formed. The silicon base is selectively etched to form a third stack on the substrate. With the second sidewall spacer as a mask, lateral plasma ion implantation is performed. Defects at the interface between two adjacent semiconductor layers can be reduced by the method.

    Abstract: The lifespan of flash memory is predicted based on the actual usage profile. Typical use cases are defined. The number of flash memory block writes for each of the typical use cases is collected. Regions of flash memory are defined, wherein each region includes continuous blocks of flash memory and serve a dedicated function in the file system, each functional region are accessed at different frequency, thus region is the smallest and lowest unit where end of life failure of flash part manifests at file system level. During development testing, data is collected to determine a rate at which writes are occurring in each of the regions for each use case and the data is stored in a number-of-writes-per-region-per-use-case table. During use of the electronic device by an end user, occurrences of each of the typical use cases are periodically tracked. An average number of periodical page writes for each of the defined regions of flash memory is calculated.

    Abstract: Apparatus and methods for envelope controlled radio frequency (RF) switches are provided. In certain embodiments, a power amplifier provides an RF signal to an antenna by way of an RF switch. Additionally, the envelope signal is used not only to control a power amplifier supply voltage of the power amplifier, but also to control a regulated voltage used to turn on the RF switch. For example, a level shifter can use a regulated voltage from charge pump circuitry to turn on the RF switch, and the envelope signal can be provided to the charge pump circuitry and used to control the voltage level of the regulated voltage over time.

    Abstract: Provided are a system and a method for testing an ability of an automated vehicle to pass a traffic circle without traffic lights. The system includes an automated vehicle, a traffic circle, a control center, an attitude sensor and a panorama camera. In the method, the control center receives a test request and then sends a driving command to drive the automated vehicle to enter the traffic circle to start the test. The attitude sensor obtains a tilt angle and sends it to the control center in real time. The panorama camera is configured to obtain a driving trajectory, a driving speed and a state of turn signals of the automated vehicle. The obtained information is compared to a standard by the control center to evaluate the ability of the automated vehicle to pass the traffic circle without traffic lights.

Sampling frequencies and sampling end times are separately obtained. A sampling start time and a sampling frequency of the ECG sampling module or the PPG module is then compensated so that a sampling frequency deviation is less than a preset frequency threshold and a sampling end time difference is less than a preset time threshold.

    Abstract: A high-resolution phase detection method and system based on a plane grating laser interferometer. The method uses a dual-frequency interferometer to measure the displacement, and the measurement signal processing comprises an integral part and a decimal portion, a phase equation set of a displacement measurement signal is constructed according to a measurement optical path principle of a heterodyne plane grating laser interferometer; a non-linear equation set for which the unknowns are instantaneous phase, interval phase and signal amplitude is established; and the equation sets above are solved by using the least squares method, so as to realize phase discrimination, thereby realizing precise displacement measurement. The method can solve the problems in the traditional time measurement-based phase detection technology, such as low measurement accuracy, and failing to satisfy small measuring range measurement.

    Abstract: A model of a system of an intelligent vehicle is trained and optimized using system operation data of the intelligent vehicle in a normal running state. The system operation data of the intelligent vehicle in a running state is collected in real time. Sensor data of the system operation data is de-noised, and feature extraction and screening are performed for a fatal sensor fault to reconstruct the system operation data. The reconstructed system operation data is inputted into the trained model to output system state data of the intelligent vehicle in the running state. The system state data is compared with a set threshold. If the system state data exceeds the set threshold, an actuator corresponding to the system state data is determined to have a fault. In addition, a system for a fault diagnosis of the intelligent vehicle is further provided.
