Abstract: A vehicle communication device for using a plurality of applications in an inter-vehicle communication, and performing a control to avoid congestion of its own vehicle and other vehicles. The vehicle communication device includes a plurality of application units performing the inter-vehicle communication, a lower protocol unit transmitting and receiving data between vehicles, and a middleware unit intervening between the application units and the lower protocol unit. The middleware unit includes a transfer service processing unit, a communication control service unit, and a transmission/reception control processing unit. The communication control service unit controls a congestion avoiding process of its own vehicle and other vehicles based on application priority received for each of the application units, priority for each vehicle, and channel usage rate obtained from the lower protocol unit.

  • Publication number: 20080116864
Abstract: A detection resistor is disposed in a main current path in order to detect an output current flowing through an output switching device in a conventional DC-DC converter that converts a DC input voltage into a stepped down DC output voltage by turning on/off of the output switching device. At that time, the detection resistor generates heat that is not negligible. In a DC-DC converter of this invention, a voltage detection circuit is connected in parallel with an output switching device, and the voltage detection circuit is put into operation a predetermined time after the output switching device is turned on. In addition, a detection switching device, which constitutes the voltage detection circuit, is designed to have a higher ON resistance than an ON resistance of the output switching device.

  • Publication number: 20050069628
Abstract: The invention encompasses a powder composition with low hygroscopicity, excellent storage stability, easy uniform dispersion of a core substance, a sufficient amount of the core substance, and excellent taste without attachment onto teeth even after addition to chewing gum or tablet confectioneries, which is preferable for use as an agent for giving aroma and flavor or an agent for enhancing aroma and flavor, as well as foods and drinks containing the same. The powder composition is produced by melting a carbohydrate mixture comprising about 30% to 70% by mass of trehalose and a plasticizer under heating, adding a core substance to the resulting molten matter for mixing to obtain a uniform mixture, extruding the uniform mixture while cooling the uniform mixture, for solidification, and cutting or grinding the resulting solid matter. The resulting powder composition is kneaded with for example gum base, powder sugar, corn syrup and the like and is then spread into stick chewing gum.

  • Publication number: 20030225668
Abstract: A system for negotiating acquisition of telematic data from at least one vehicle traveling along a traffic route and collecting telematic data. A system node provides a first polling signal including a first purchase offer. The probe detector responds to the first polling signal by comparing the first purchase offer to a selling price. If the first purchase offer at least meets the selling price, the probe detector transmits an availability signal including an assent parameter agreeing to the sale to the system node in response to the polling signal. If the system node accepts the availability signal, it transmits a release signal, and the telematic data is transmitted from the probe detector on the vehicle to the system node. The system node and probe detector may negotiate the price through multiple polling signals before release of the telematic data.

  • Publication number: 20030124228
Abstract: A lipid which are solid at ordinary temperature and an edible water-soluble additive and/or an edible polymer substance are dissolved in a solvent to give a single phase solution, or the above-described lipid in a molten state is mixed and emulsified together with an aqueous solution of an edible water-soluble additive and/or an edible polymer substance to give an emulsion. By using the solution or emulsion thus obtained as a coating, the whole surface of a core material such as a powdered flavor is coated. The coated powder is less hygroscopic, have a high storage stability and a high oxidation stability, are excellent in the release of core materials, controlled release and taste and can be favorably used for imparting or enhancing aroma and flavor in foods and drinks to be processed by heating, for example, foods for microwave cooking and baked foods.

  • Patent number: 5578208
Abstract: A filter for flitrating molten resin of the invention includes: a cylindrical filtering member formed with a large number of projections and recesses; and radially arranged rods in a supporter for supporting the cylindrical filtering member at arc-shaped projected portions, and is constructed such that molten resin material is allowed to pass through the filtering member at arc-shaped recessed portions. In this arrangement, it is possible to enhance the resistance of thermoplastic molten resin filter against filtering pressure as well as to ensure a large filtering area. Further, the filter may be constructed such that the cross-section of the aforementioned cylindrical member is made greater from the upstream side toward the downstream side. By this configuration, the flow rate of molten resin passing through the unit area of the filtering member is made uniform and consequently the collecting capacity of foreign substances is increased.
