ROLLER STRUCTURE

The present invention relates to a roller structure, which includes a shaft and a roller. The roller is mounted outside an outer diameter of the shaft. The roller has an outside surface forming mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending concentric circular or helical contact sections to reduce the area that the circumferentially-extending contact sections occupies the outside surface of the roller. Each circumferentially-extending local contact section provides linear contact to drive a paper sheet having a single surface carrying an adhesive layer to allow a back surface of the paper to be subjected to printing or other processing. As such, the present invention realizes stable feeding of paper and easy operation, avoiding paper jam caused by sticking of paper and reduction of efficiency of printing operation that lead to damage of machine and increase of operation cost.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a roller structure, and more particular to a remote interactive monitoring and alarm system utilizing a television apparatus which equipped with a video-song accompaniment function that is suitable to be set in homes, companies, stores, and etc.

2. Description of Related Art

A conventional roller structure comprises a shaft 10a and a roller 20a (see FIG. 1). The roller 20a is mounted to an outer surface of the shaft 10a. The roller 20a has an outer surface that forms irregular embossed contact sections 21a to drive a paper sheet that has an adhesive layer. However, after a period of use, the irregular embossed contact sections 21a get worn out and become flattened, so that the contact area is between the embossed contact sections 21a and the paper sheet with adhesive layer becomes increased, whereby when the paper sheet with adhesive layer is fed, sticking and wrapping around the roller may happen, making it not possible efficiently pass the paper through, and the machine operation must be shut down to fix the situation of sticking and wrapping. This increases the cost of printing on the paper sheet with adhesive layer and the time-consuming operation of trouble shooting is inconvenient for the conventional release paper that has a single-sided adhesive layer. Apparently, the conventional roller structure must be further improved.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a roller structure. The roller structure provides a combined arrangement that comprises a shaft and a roller that has an outside surface forming mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections. The mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections formed on the outside surface of the roller provides linear contact for driving, through rotation thereof, a paper sheet having a surface carrying an adhesive layer so that the contact area between the outside surface of the roller and the adhesive layer is reduced to thereby effectively and stably drive the paper sheet with adhesive layer and prevent the paper sheet with adhesive layer from sticking to and wrapping around the roller thereby realizing stable feeding paper and easy and convenient operation, and thus greatly improving overall practicability and convenience of the operation of the present invention.

The secondary objective of the present invention is to provide a roller structure, in which the roller comprises an elastic body in order to cushion the acting force between mutually-parallel successively-arranged contact sections formed on the outside surface of the roller and the contact surface of the paper sheet with adhesive layer, whereby wear of the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections of the outside surface of the roller can be reduced to realize advantages of reducing wear, increasing the time period when the present invention maintains excellent operation efficiency, and greatly improving overall convenience of the present invention.

A further objective of the present invention is to provide a roller structure, in which the arrangement of the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged contact sections formed on the outside surface of the roller is such that after a period of use, although the surfaces of the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged contact sections formed on the outside surface of the roller may get locally worn, yet the mutually-parallel successively-arranged concentric circular or helical contact sections that circumferentially extend along the outside surface of the roller according to the present invention are still of a substantial thickness, so that in operation, it is not possible to be troubled by the problem of the conventional roller structure that the paper sheet with adhesive layer get sticking to and wrapping around the roller due to the contact sections being worn flat, whereby the present invention ensures uniform and stable feeding of paper, easy operation and increased operation efficiency, and thus improving overall functionality and convenience of the present invention.

In order to achieve the foregoing objectives, the present invention provides a roller structure, which comprises a shaft and a roller. The roller is mounted outside an outer diameter of the shaft. The roller has an outside surface that forms mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending concentric circular or helical contact sections for fast driving a paper sheet having a single surface carrying an adhesive layer. As such, advantages of uniform and stable feeding of paper and reducing troubles of sticking and wrapping are realized.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to the drawings and in particular to FIGS. 2-5, the present invention provides a roller structure, which comprises:

a shaft 10; and

a roller 20, in which the roller 20 is mounted outside an outer diameter of the shaft 10, the roller 20 having a outside surface that forms mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially extending contact sections 21 to uniformly and stably drives a paper sheet 30 having a single surface carrying an adhesive layer.

The mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections 21 formed on the outside surface of the roller 20 can be helically-extending contact sections 21 or can be a plurality of identical circular contact sections 21 having outer circumferences that are concentric. The helically-extending contact sections 21 and the concentric outer circumference contact sections 21 both have a cross-section showing successive sharp cone-shaped projections. The roller 20 can be an elastic body.

With the roller structure constructed according to the above described structure, as shown in FIGS. 2-5, the feature of the present invention is a combined arrangement of a shaft 10 and a roller 20, in which the roller 20 is mounted outside an outer diameter of the shaft 10 and the roller 20 has an outside surface forming mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections 21 to uniformly and stably drive a paper sheet 30 with an adhesive layer, where the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections 21 formed on the outside surface of the roller 20 provides linear contact that results in a reduced contact area with the paper surface adhesive layer 31 that shows sticking property and the frictional force in the contact surface is uniform, whereby the paper sheet 30 with the adhesive layer 31 can be effectively and smoothly driven, avoiding the paper sheet 30 with the adhesive layer 31 sticking to and wrapping around the roller and allowing the paper layer 32 on the opposite side of the adhesive layer 31 to be subjected to printing or other processing. Further, with the roller 20 being an elastic body, cushioning of the force acting between the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections 21 formed on the outside surface of the roller 20 and the contact surface of the paper surface adhesive layer 31 of the paper sheet 30 with the adhesive layer 31 can be realized, thereby reducing wear therebetween. After a period of use, the surfaces of the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections 21 formed on the outside surface of the roller 20 are subjected to wearing, yet the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending concentric circles or helical contact sections 21 that are formed on the outside surface of the roller 20 according to the present invention are still of a substantial thickness, so that the operation will not be troubled by the problems of the conventional device that the paper sheet with adhesive layer 31 sticking and wrapping around the roller when the contact sections 21 get worn flat. Thus, the present invention realizes uniform and stable feeding of paper sheet, easy operation, and high operation efficiency, improving overall practicability and convenience. Further, the roller structure according to the present invention can be such that the pitch or spacing between the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending concentric circular or helical contact sections 21 formed on the outside surface of the roller 20 can be locally adjusted to accommodate variation or difference of adhesion of the adhesive layer 31, thereby further improving the function of the roller structure according to the present invention in uniform and stable feeding of paper.

Based on the above detailed description, those skilled in the art may appreciate that the present invention can achieve the above discussed objectives. However, it is noted that the above description is made only to a preferred embodiment of the present invention and is not intending to limit the true scope where the present invention may be put into practice. Thus, simple and equivalent variations and modifications made on the disclosure of the specification and the attached claims are all considered within the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. A roller structure, the roller structure comprising:

a shaft, and
a roller, which is mounted outside an outer diameter of the shaft and has an outside surface forming mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections adapted to uniformly drive a paper sheet having a single surface carrying an adhesive layer.

2. The roller structure according to claim 1, wherein the mutually-parallel,successively-arranged,circumferentially-extending contact sections formed on the outside surface of the roller comprise helically-extending contact sections, and the contact sections have a cross-section showing successive sharp conic-shaped projections.

3. The roller structure according to claim 1, wherein the mutually-parallel, successively-arranged, circumferentially-extending contact sections formed on the outside surface of the roller comprise contact sections having outer circumference that are concentric circles and the contact sections have a cross-section showing successive sharp conic-shaped projections.

4. The roller structure according to claim 1, wherein the roller comprises an elastic body.

5. The roller structure according to claim 2, wherein the roller comprises an elastic body.

6. The roller structure according to claim 3, wherein the roller comprises an elastic body.

7. The roller structure according to claim 1, wherein spacing between the contact sections are locally adjustable.

8. The roller structure according to claim 2, wherein spacing between the contact sections are locally adjustable.

9. The roller structure according to claim 3, wherein spacing between the contact sections are locally adjustable.
