The dorsal side provides a plurality of protection sections and the joint protectors positioned between the plurality of protection sections. The joint protector includes a base operatively attached to the dorsal side and a plurality of extended members attached to the base and projecting from the base. The joint protector substantially fills any apertures created in the sports glove by a user of the glove during participation in sports. The extended members of the joint protector deflect independently of the protection sections and can be biased toward the protection sections to substantially fill any apertures between the protection sections.

Abstract: Clothing includes a body part, a waistband part circumferentially provided at an upper end of the body part and having opposite end portions, and a rubber band encapsulated in the waistband part. Locking units are provided on a surface of the end portion and a back face of the end portion, opposite ends of the rubber band which can be exposed from a side end of the end portion and from a hole portion formed in the back face of the end portion are coupled by a coupling unit so that a length of the rubber band can be adjusted, the opening/closing portions integral with the opposite end portions can be separated leftward and rightward, and the units are invisible from the front when the opening/closing portions are closed. Therefore, clothing with a waist size, which can be adjusted by a wearer, and with good appearance can be provided.

The upper shell is shaped to protect a top portion of a wearer's head, the rear shell shaped to protect an occipital portion of the wearer's head. A headset assembly, attached to the shell, includes dual ear cups rotatable about an axis that is above the wearer's ears when the helmet is worn. The ear cups have at least the following positions: an extended position to cover the wearer's ears, and a retracted position substantially abutting both upper and rear shell to the rear of the wearer's ears. The ear cups are shaped so that they form a surface substantially flush with the exterior surface while the ear cups are in the retracted position.

Abstract: Mask-form goggles, particularly for sporting use, are described which include a first front mount and a second juxtaposed mount and a lens held on at least one of the mounts. The first and the second mounts extend in such a manner that they surround the lens, and a releasable mutual coupling device is provided between the first and the second mount and is such as to permit access to the inside of the mask, when it is being worn, by moving one of the mounts away from the other.

Abstract: The invention relates to a slider and a method of making the same. The slider comprises a bottom plate, an inner core, and a skin plate. The inner core has a bottom surface and a top surface, and is made of a foamed plastic. The bottom plate and the skin plate are bonded to the bottom surface and the top surface of the inner core, respectively, to form a laminate, and thus the inner core is sandwiched between the bottom plate and the skin plate. The bottom plate is a multi-layer structure, comprising a foamed plastic layer, an adhesive layer, a fabric layer, an ink layer, and a composite casting layer, which are laminated downward in order from the bottom surface of the inner core. The skin plate is also a multi-layer structure, comprising a foamed plastic layer, an adhesive layer, a film layer, a corona treatment layer and an ink layer, which are laminated upward in order from the top surface of the inner core.

Abstract: The invention is called Adaptable, Maintenance Free Toilet Bowl Air Vacuum System. It addresses the need of people for smell-free toilet experience and for conserving water by providing an effective way to remove contaminated air inside the toilet bowl without changing any parts of most current toilets before it can get a chance to irritate toilet users. The prior art in the field this invention pertains is either using an independent system, or redesigning of current toilet, or a toilet seat to suck away the air in the bowl and has made it too complicated and too expensive to be practical for every day use and maintenance. The Adaptable, Maintenance Free Toilet Bowl Air Vacuum System has solved the problem and the benefit of the this invention is not only the contaminated-air-free experience while using the toilet, but also saving water by eliminating the need for user to flush the toilet in the middle of using the toilet.

The box member is suspended from the spindle of the dispenser by a pair of J-shaped hanger members which are integral to the side panels. When installed, the toilet paper roll is disposed between the pair of hanger members. An alternative embodiment of the utility container comprises a dispensing member through which the user may obtain cleanser or lotion as desired.

Abstract: This invention can have industrial application in every swimming pool with water propulsion system (e.g. with jets, propeller, paddle-wheels, etc.) like swim-spas, where the user has to swim against a water current. It offers a technical solution to the problem that occurs at conventional pools of this type, where the water flow remains at a stable strength, until someone interferes manually. The new mechanism reacts to the swimming of the user automatically, since it recognizes the acceleration or deceleration of the swimmer via optical digital sensors and sends the necessary control command to the water propulsion system, raising or lowering the intensity of the water flow accordingly and so putting the swimmer automatically at his initial position. The advantage of this invention is mainly, that it gives the possibility to the serious swimmer to exercise in a technical right way and to the trainer to gain access to useful data.

Abstract: The present invention is designed to allow a single person or a group of people the ability to control and access shower settings through an automated process. An access panel, mounted outside of the shower, is utilized to select the pressure and temperature of the shower and a switch located in the shower is utilized to direct the water flow to the faucet or the shower head. The switch also contains buttons which allow a user to adjust the temperature and pressure of the water after the system is activated. To use the system, a user first presses a button on the access panel which automatically adjusts the temperature and pressure of the water to a predetermined setting. The user then uses the switch to direct the flow of the water or to fine tune the pressure and temperature of the water. The present invention can also be accessed remotely via a remote control which can control the access panel.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system combining a dental water pic, a mouthwash dispenser, a soap dispenser and a spray faucet unit. The water pic, mouthwash dispenser and soap dispenser are connected to a conventional sink unit having a traditional spray faucet system. The water pic is connected to a diverter valve such that the temperature of the water expelled by the dental pic is controlled by the user. The water pic is attached to the sink via extractable tubing, allowing a user to extend the dental pic from the sink. The mouthwash and soap dispensers have under-sink storage units in order to prevent the need for storage of containers between uses. The sink system provides an advantage in that it combines various hygiene tools, resulting in a more comprehensive sink unit. The water pic attachments can be used to clean braces, dentures and jewelry, among other things.

Abstract: A sink according to the present invention includes a sink basin having a bottom surface and a top surface with at least one side wall extending therebetween. The sink includes a divider that may be inserted into or removed from an interior area of the sink for selectively dividing the basin into multiple smaller compartments. An electromagnet is positioned beneath the bottom surface of the sink and is attracted to a ferrous material on the bottom of the divider for holding the divider securely when actuated. Channels defined by the sink side wall and other sealing components establish a watertight seal between compartments when the electromagnet is actuated. The electromagnet may be connected to the residential power source and may be activated by a user or, automatically, by a sensor. When the divider is removed, the larger single basin may be used for washing larger items.

The spacer fabric has three parts or components knitted together to form a fabric with two breathable outer fabric layers and a breathable cushioned middle defined by yarns interconnecting the two layers. Abstract: An apparatus for washing or otherwise wet-processing natural fibers in loose or “bulk” form comprises a generally cylindrical bag having cinch-type closures at both ends. The bag is doubled upon itself to form a generally annular cavity for holding the fibers. The inner cinch secures the first opening of the bag above the agitator of a conventional washing machine. After the fibers are placed into the bag, the outer cinch is secured, also above the agitator, thereby containing the fibers during selected washing or rinsing operations. The mesh size of the bag is selected to provide adequate fluid flow through the fibers while minimizing loss of the fibers or clogging of the plumbing. The two cinches are preferably tied together so that the bag and contents may be easily handled as a unit and hung as a unit for air drying.

Abstract: A ramp forms from three telescoping sections stored in a box secured to a tailgate of a pickup truck. The sections have an inverted U shape with the branches of the U extending downwards from the cargo bed. The sections extend telescopically with the upper section having the largest width and the lower section being the narrowest width. Each section has a stop the prevents detachment from the preceding section. In use, an all terrain vehicle climbs a pair of the ramps from the ground to the cargo bed, upon the sections, and over a storage box connected to each ramp. In the collapsed ramp, the sections are stored nested in a box clamped upon a tailgate. The ramps are approximately six feet long and collapse into a box approximately three feet high.

In another embodiment, an inner sleeve [810] is used to further secure the bristles [330] and simplify assembly.

Said cloth consists of a long-pile velour fabric (1) with a flat support structure (2) and a trim of perpendicular, tightly-packed filaments (3), which are anchored in the flat support structure (2), protrude at least 5 mm beyond the flat support structure (2) and have a density of at least ten filaments per cm2 of the support structure (2). According to the invention, the filaments (3) of the trim consist of staple fibres and are joined at their distal ends to form loops (4). The filaments (3) of the trim are merely looped and not cut, so that no shorter filament sections can become detached during the use of the staple fibres, thus preventing the usual pilling of cleaning cloths.
