    Abstract: A dome type clear-span roof construction, having an exterior, polygonal arch frame (1), and a pre-tensioned, doubly curved membrane cover (2), which is suspended from the arch frame and is tied down to anchors (9) along its perimeter. Underneath the arch frame, a single, continuous suspension cable (4), anchored to the arch's end supports (8), is alternately taken through a series of upper pulleys (6) secured to the underside of the arch break points, and lower pulleys (5) secured at similar spacing to the membrane's ridge line (3), creating a multiple block-and-tackle suspension mechanism in the full length of the arch. The suspension mechanism converts the random membrane loads into concentrated, identical arch loads. The centerline of the polygonal arch coincides with the constant pressure line of its concentrated loads, which therefore do not cause bending moments in the arch.

The method further includes placing said packaged single-use intimate feminine absorbent article in a pocket and traveling with said packaged single-use intimate feminine absorbent article in the pocket of the article of clothing on one's person.

    Abstract: An automated packaging apparatus and associated method are provided for depositing pills into a container. A cylindrical rotary slat is rotatable about a longitudinal axis and defines a plurality of pill apertures for receiving pills deposited into an interior space of the cylinder, at a first angular position of the rotary slat. A negative pressure system applies a negative pressure the pill apertures for retaining the pills therein, as the rotary slat rotates from the first to a second angular position. A removal system interacts with the pill apertures, as the respective pill aperture is at the second angular position, to remove the pill therefrom through a radially outward portion of the rotary slat. A collection system, adjacent to the radially outward portion of the rotary slat about the second angular position, is configured to direct each pill removed from each respective pill aperture toward a container for deposition therein.

    Abstract: There is provided a platform stirrup for supporting an equestrian rider's foot. The improved stirrup allows the rider to rest his weight on each foot by placing weight on both the heel of the foot and the ball of the foot. The stirrup still allows the rider to make good heel contact with the barrel of the horse. The platform stirrup includes a substantially planar platform defining an inner edge and an outer edge, a front edge and a rear edge, and the platform is shaped so as to accommodate the rider's foot. A forward arch extends from the inner edge of the platform in a substantially right angle; and a rear support extends from the rear edge of the platform in a substantially right angle. A forward strap is affixed to the inner forward arch; and a rear strap is affixed to the rear support or edge of the platform.
