Abstract: A fan nozzle for cleaning a surface with an abrasive blast media is constructed of a longitudinal body having an axial pathway through which the media is passed under pressure for release from a substantially rectangular cross-sectional outlet to release the media in a substantially flat, wide path. A first transition zone provides a conversion in the axial pathway from the inlet cross-section to the substantially rectangular cross-section of the outlet opening. A second transition or convergence zone first reduces and then expands the cross-section of the axial pathway for providing a Venturii acceleration of the media as it passes through the nozzle. The transition zone and the convergence zone may be coexistent along a portion of the axial pathway.

The cheese plate is a thick fill plate with larger diameter holes than a washer and nut. The method removes as little as one rivet or bolt at a time, and replaces it with the special order high strength bolt and only one nut. Abstract: A method for continuous casting and rolling at increased casting speed followed by hot rolling of relatively thin metal strand, especially steel strand (1), where presetting of target temperatures (6) of the hot strip (2) reduces temperature losses in the hot strip (2) by increasing the temperatures of the work rolls (4) at a predetermined rate of increase, starting from a low initial temperature (5), and by adjusting the strip temperature (15) to a target rolling temperature (6) of the hot strip (2) and/or by automatically controlling or regulating the intensity of the roll cooling (18).

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a wireless receiver and a structure of the same are disclosed. The method includes the steps of: providing a metallic casing having an accommodating space with both opposite ends thereof and having an insertion hole and a through hole in communication with the accommodating space; forming a positioning base having a mounting trough by joining to the accommodating space of the metallic casing, the mounting trough being in communication with the accommodating space and through hole; providing a receiving module, assembling the receiving module in the accommodating space, the receiving module being fixed by inserting it into the mounting trough via the through hole; and providing a housing, assembling the housing to the through hole, the housing sealing the through hole to block the receiving module from sliding out of the through hole. Therefore, the whole size of the wireless receiver can be reduced.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a potentiometer in which conductive stampings are cut to be both the connector pins and the substrate of the potentiometer. In the region where the potentiometer is desired, an insulating layer covers the surface of the stamping. The insulating layer can be the same material as the solder mask, and electrically isolates the connector pins from the resistive area. Next, carbon trace is screen-printed over the insulating layer where the potentiometer is desired, and oven-cured. This subassembly is then placed into a housing of plastic or another insulating material. Last, the feedback and ground pins are assembled into the plastic housing. The ground pin is laid on top of the end of the carbon trace to make an electrical connection to the resistive trace.

Stackable modules employ copper substrates with solder connections between modules, and a ball grid array interface is provided at the bottom of the stack. A cooling channel is optionally provided between each pair of modules. Each module is re-workable because all integrated circuit attachments within the module employ re-workable flip chip connectors. Also, defective modules can be removed from the stack by directing hot inert gas at externally accessible solder connections.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the electronic manufacturing field and provides an automatic inserting method, an inserting system and an inserting device for a PCB board The method includes: obtaining the insertion paths for insertion of components in the PCB, calling the optimization program to adjust the insertion parameters, generating the optimized insertion paths based on the insertion parameters adjusted, and carrying out the insertion based on the optimized insertion paths. In an embodiment of the present invention, the optimization programs are used to adjust the insertion parameters in the original insertion programs, generate the optimized insertion paths based on the parameters adjusted, and carry out the insertion as per the optimized insertion paths, which not only improves the insertion efficiency, but also avoids a waste of manpower and the improvement of insertion efficiency is inconspicuous in relation to man-made modification of insertion programs.

Abstract: The present invention is a vane for us in a gas turbine engine, in which the vane is made of an exotic, high temperature material that is difficult to machine or cast. The vane includes a shell made from either Molybdenum, Niobium, alloys of Molybdenum or Niobium (Columbium), Oxide Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC), or SiC-SiC ceramic matrix composite, and is formed from a wire electric discharge process. The shell is positioned in grooves between the outer and inner shrouds, and includes a central passageway within the spar, and forms a cooling fluid passageway between the spar and the shell. Both the spar and the shell include cooling holes to carry cooling fluid from the central passageway to an outer surface of the vane for cooling. This cooling path eliminates a serpentine pathway, and therefore requires less pressure and less amounts of cooling fluid to cool the vane.
