Abstract: A fire guidance device for a hand fired weapon is suitable for day and night deployment for large caliber and slow flying ammunition or missiles, such as, for example, 40 mm grenade throwers and anti tank weapons. The fire guidance device also serves to determine and automatically adjust a set-up angle for adjustment of ballistics, and a lateral angle for spin correction. The fire guidance device is attached to the weapon so it can be tilted automatically or manually and twisting is thereby dependent upon a required set-up angle of the weapon so that direct view, by the operator, to the target is preserved. For spin correction, a defined angle in horizontal orientation is adjusted between axes of the fire guidance device and the weapon. Alternatively, the fire guidance device is mounted vertically and a required cant (tilt) is then indicated in a display, followed by tilt adjustment.

Abstract: A window frame assembly includes an outer frame, a pivotable sash and a semi-fixed sash. The outer frame includes a horizontal cross framing member extending across the outer frame. The cross framing member has a top face and a bottom face and a groove extending along the top face. The pivotable sash is pivotable about the bottom rail of the outer frame. The semi-fixed sash is positionable above the cross framing member and includes a bottom rail provided with a main receiving channel in which a locking bar is inserted. The locking bar has a lip projecting downwardly from the bottom rail of the semi-fixed sash for engaging and extending into the groove of the horizontal cross-framing member. A locking mechanism cooperates with the lip and groove to retain the semi-fixed sash within the outer frame in a blocked position and allows its removal in an unblocked position.

Abstract: A door system comprises a door panel, a support member, and a pivoting vertical plate. The door panel comprises a plurality of discrete rigid insulation pieces interposed between flexible layers. An outer skin encompasses the rigid insulation pieces and the flexible layers. The door panel is secured to the support member by the outer skin, such that the outer skin bears the weight of the door panel. The vertical plate is secured to a trailing side of the door panel. The vertical plate includes keepers that selectively engage hooks extending from a casing positioned at a doorway. The rigidity of the door panel depends on the pivotal position of the vertical plate relative to a plane defined by the door panel. The door panel provides sufficient flexibility to withstand impacts from objects and vehicles yet also provides sufficient rigidity to insulate a cold environment from a warm environment.

Abstract: The invention concerns a set of seals for a door with two opening leaves (3, 4) or one opening leaf and one fixed leaf comprising a male seal (1) and a female seal (2). This set of seals is provided with a device for detecting that a thin object is wedged between the male seal and the female seal by virtue of the use of a single pressure sensor (7). To this end, the male seal comprises a bearing surface (6) and a pressure sensor (7) projecting from the bearing surface (6), while the female seal comprises a cavity (18) delimited by two branches (16, 17) between which the pressure sensor is inserted when the set of seals is in the nominal closed position. The male seal and female seal thus form between them an empty space (28) with a cross section in the form of ? into which the thin object passes. By virtue of this empty space, any tension exerted on the thin object is converted into compression of the pressure sensor.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polishing material having polishing particles and a method for making the same. The polishing material having polishing particles includes a base material, a plurality of polishing particles and a polymer elastic body. The base material has a plurality of fibers for defining a plurality of grid-spaces. The polishing particles are distributed in the grid-spaces. The polymer elastic body covers the base material and the polishing particles. Whereby, the polishing particles are uniformly distributed on a surface of a polishing workpiece during the polishing process. Furthermore, the base material prevents the polishing particles from contacting the polishing workpiece so as to avoid the scratch of the polishing workpiece. Also, the base material provides effects for sweeping the small grinded pieces.
