Abstract: In some embodiments, the instant invention provides a ballistic garment that at least includes: a front portion; a rear portion; a first releasable shackle attached to a front portion at a waist area of a front portion, wherein the first releasable shackle is configured to releasably clasp a ring of a left-shoulder strap and a ring of a left-waist strap; a second releasable shackle attached to the front portion at the waist area of the front portion, wherein the second releasable shackle is configured to releasably clasp a ring of a right-shoulder strap and a ring of the right-waist strap; and a pull mechanism operatively connected to each of the first and second releasable shackles to essentially simultaneously release all four rings.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for separating, and maintaining a distance between, a person's face and a protective eye mask worn on a helmet. The device is formed by two symmetrical elements disposed on each side of the helmet. Each element is formed by a flap (1) hinged to a support (2) by means of a rotation shaft (2). When the flap is positioned to the rear, the strap can be positioned normally. When the user pushes the flap forwards, the flap rotates through approximately 180 ° and becomes the new support point for the mask instead of the face. The mask is then held in place by the tension of the strap and a lever (4) that presses against the mask. A roller (5), mounted on a shaft solidly connected to the flap, facilitates the movement of the flap under the strap. The device provides increased ventilation for the helmet wearer and allows the helmet to be taken off without the protective mask being removed.

Abstract: A sleep curtain device comprised of an expandable headband for placement on a wearer's head and at least one shade repositionably attached to said headband to allow the wearer to reposition the shade 360 degrees around the wearer's head without removing the device from the wearer's head. The sleep curtain device has many uses including, without limitation, shielding a wearer's face from public view and/or unwanted light, such as sunlight and ambient light.

Abstract: Ergonomic garment for swaddling an infant garment with an elongate retractable fabric shell having an outer surface and inner surface defining an interior volume for receiving the arms, legs and trunk of an infant therein. Garments have a head end for receiving the arms of said infant, a foot end for receiving the legs of said infant, and a mid section for receiving the trunk of said infant that is narrower than said head end and said foot end, and a neck opening at the head end for receiving a neck of said infant. Garments have an ergonomic peanut-like shape. Garments have a reversible closure means accessing said interior volume of said fabric shell extending longitudinally along the central axis of said fabric shell from said head end to said foot end, a chin protector closure means and optionally a means for accepting an automotive seat belt. Detachable arms and/or leggings and attached retractable arms and/or leggings garments are shown.

Abstract: The breast-cancer recovery system comprises a breast cancer recovery garment, an organizational subsystem and a needs kit. The breast cancer recovery garment comprises a body portion defining an opening, positioned, configured and dimensioned to allow the performance of a breast cancer treatment procedure and a closure device suitable for closing the opening when a procedure is not being performed. The body portion of the garment defines the elongated pocket proximate the bottom edge, extending along the bottom edge and defines slits in at least one of the sleeves. The body portion of the recovery garment comprises of a warm material and/or of decorative pattern. The organizational subsystem comprises a frame configured to support a plurality of color-coded files, and marked with identification tabs which relate to breast cancer patient needs, and customized medical information.

Each of the plurality of contour curved shape finger portions conforms to the natural curved or vented shape of a user's fingers. The plurality of contour curved shape finger portions includes an index finger portion, a middle finger portion, a ring finger portion and a little finger portion. The plurality of contour curved shape finger portions of the front palm portion is shorter in length than the plurality of contour curved shape finger portions of the back palm portion. Each of the plurality of contour curved shape finger portions includes a horizontal stitch. The plurality of contour curved shape finger portions include a plurality of contour curved stitches to facilitate the bending of the fingers of the user when gripping an object.

Abstract: A glove or partial glove comprising a palmar portion and a dorsal portion comprising one or more finger/thumb extensions, the portions joined together at a sealed seam, the seam positioned such that the seam on each of the finger/thumb extensions is positioned adjacent the dorsal aspect of the user's finger/thumb with the palmar aspect extending over the fingertip in a hood-like configuration. The glove portions may comprise a shear-thickening-fluid (STF) treated textile base, including a multi-ply construction in which each ply comprises an STF-treated textile base. The glove may comprise an integral pathogen barrier, such as a coating that is impervious to blood and bloodborne pathogens, and may have one or more features that aids donning and/or provides an adjustable fit. Abstract: Disclosed is a deployable garment venting device that offsets the beltline of a wearer's trousers from the body of the wearer to allow an air gap such that heat and moisture is released and airflow is achieved across the trouser beltline. The device comprises a flexible frame member bordering an internal mesh web. The preferred embodiment comprises a pair of straps that deform the frame into a deployed state, bowing out the frame and creating a non-planar structure to offset a trouser beltline. The straps comprise clips for attachment to the wearer's beltline, whereby the frame can be released from the strap tension and thus stowed against the user's body in a planar state. Embodiments include of the frame straps include hooks that releasable maintain the frame's distorted shape, tensionable straps, and a frame that folds onto itself when disconnected from the user for condensed storage.

In one embodiment, the present invention includes a spacer interposed between the buckle and the keeper that spans a length so as to separate the two components. Also disclosed, is a strap holder having longitudinal edges that are substantially aligned with the garment strap. The present invention provides a reversible belt that is aesthetically consistent with a traditional, non-reversible belt.

Abstract: My invention is a functional change to disposable male undergarments. Insertion of a fly/opening in the center front of disposable male undergarments allowing the wearer to urinate as he has done since he was potty trained. The fly will be of varied lengths due to varied size of garments.

Abstract: An apparatus for maintaining protective eyewear, such as swimming goggles, on a wearer's head includes a neoprene backing and one or more nylon straps. The neoprene backing has a textured surface on the side that rests against a wearer's head. Hook and loop material attached to each end of the one or more nylon straps can be threaded through slots on each side of the protective eyewear to form an adjustable attachment of the strap to the protective eyewear.

Abstract: This invention relates to a flame-resistant spun yarn, woven fabric, and protective garment, comprising a blend of 60 to 85 parts by weight of polyoxadiazole staple fiber and 15 to 40 parts by weight modacrylic staple fiber; based on 100 total parts of the polyoxadiazole staple fiber and modacrylic staple fiber in the yarn. This invention also relates to methods for making the yarn.

Abstract: The system for unclogging toilets is a wire-based unclogging system for toilets, allowing clogs formed on either side of a bend in a toilet outflow pipe to be cleared simultaneously. The system includes a hollow tube having opposed upper and lower ends. The tube is mounted on a toilet so that a pair of apertures formed through the lower end communicate with an interior of the bend of the toilet outflow pipe. A plunger is slidably mounted within an interior of the tube and is resiliently biased with respect to the upper end. An air pump delivers pressurized air to the interior of the tube through a port formed through the upper end, so that the plunger may be driven downward. A pair of wires are secured to a lower surface of the plunger and extend through the apertures into either side of the bend of the toilet outflow pipe.

If the sanitation seat is to be attached to a tree at least nail passes through the top ring for embedding into a tree, and a tie rope, which beneficially includes a rope attachment, is used to attach the seat to a tree.

The interior of said pocket is sized for receiving a weight. The pool cover can include an air pillow for placement between the surface of the water in the pool and the main cover. The pocket allows for a uniform weight to be placed around the outer edge of the main cover in order to pull the main cover tight enough over the air pillow resulting in a dome like effect over the swimming pool.

The rear frame includes a rear support and two rear bars each having a first end pivotally connected with the rear support and a second end connected with the respective front bar. Thus, the front frame, the rear frame and the connecting frame can be connected and disconnected so that the combination bed is assembled and disassembled easily and quickly.

The free ends of the respective first and second attachment flaps are inserted between a mattress and a box spring for securing the foot warmer to the bed.

A plurality of edges of the side wall is stitched to the top sheet and the bottom sheet to form a compartment. An expandable means having a hook is attached to the side wall. An opening is provided on the side wall for inserting a mattress into the compartment. The expandable means may be adjusted to fit mattresses of different thicknesses inside the expandable mattress cover. A fastening means with a hook is adjusted to open the opening before inserting a mattress into the compartment. The mattress is secured in position by adjusting the fastening means to a closed position. The hook is used to clip the expandable means and the fastening means onto the side wall.

Abstract: This invention is directed towards a patient single surface system, PS3, which is a next generation system solution for patient accommodation, diagnosis, treatment, transfer and transport. PS3 provides a single surface for the patient to remain on from the trauma site through diagnosis, treatment and convalescence. Needs addressed by the PS3 system include improved patient treatment through reduction in time to treatment, reduced or eliminated unnecessary patient movement and injury, as well as improved comfort throughout treatment and convalescence. In addition, the PS3 system solves significant economic considerations.

A pull strap is coupled through a head of the plastic sheet and is configured to permit a person to drag the patient strapped to the plastic sheet. Preferably, a foot strap is affixed to the head pull strap and coupled to a foot of the plastic sheet. The foot strap is configured to cause, when tension is applied to the head pull strap, at least one portion of the plastic sheet foot to raise upward and at least partially enclose the feet of the patient.

Abstract: Methods and systems for building a stress ribbon structure over an opening via incremental launching, a construction fixture, a support structure, an anchorage panel, and a stress ribbon structure are disclosed. Construction fixtures are constructed adjacent to a support structure. The stress ribbon structure is constructed in a staging area and in sections that are suspended between the construction fixtures. Anchorage panels at each end of a section engage a blister on the construction fixtures and the support structure. Completed sections are launched from the construction fixtures onto and along the support structure. Sections are individually constructed and launched and adjacent sections abut along a lateral edge. Adjacent sections are aligned by adjusting tension in integral support cables and their ends pivot or rotate about the blisters via a bearing system with both rotational flexibility and low friction to support sliding in the direction of launching.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a lawn sweeper designed to collect debris, such as grass clippings and leaves, from a surface such as a lawn, and more particularly to a lawn sweeper with an adjustable brush assembly and characteristics associated with improved storage of such a device. Structure is provided for mounting the brush to the motor. In use, the motor is actuated to rotate the brush to remove material from the rain gutter.
