Abstract: A method of diagnosing lameness in quadrupeds utilizing computer vision and a computerized depth perception system to scan quadrupeds, such as sport horses, over time. The method enables a detailed analysis of the quadruped's movement, and changes thereof over time without the need for attaching sensors to the body of the horse, or requiring force plates or expensive high speed cameras. A processing system receives the input of this movement data and utilizes it to make a determination of severity of lameness signals of the animal. The system is inexpensive enough that non-specialists, such as non-veterinary trained quadruped owners, may install the system at an appropriate location such as a horse barn enabling identification of lameness early, to aid in objectively analyzing rehabilitation from injury, and relating changes in gait to performance changes.

Abstract: A clamp assembly for maintaining two rod sections parallel to each other includes a collar encircling a longitudinal axis for receiving a first rod section, and a retainer attached to the collar. The retainer has a first hook attached to the collar and a second hook connected to the first hook for receiving a second rod section. The clamp assembly has an open configuration in which the retainer hinges from the collar, and a closed configuration in which the first hook at least partially surrounds the collar. The collar includes a band for encircling the first rod section. The band has a first circumferential end and an opposing second circumferential end that meet to form a closure. A first cylindrically rolled tab extends from the first circumferential end; and a second cylindrically rolled tab extends from the second circumferential end longitudinally offset from the first cylindrically rolled tab.

Abstract: A bottom bouncer with swiveling section a lure arm member pivotally attached to a weighted arm member has an elongated rod having a weight affixed to it and a tip extending longitudinally therefrom to form one end. The lure arm member has one of its end terminated by an end loop to which is clipped an interlock snap swivel. The interlock snap swivel is used for attaching a lure line. The weighted arm member has an angled bend which is comprised of a bushing, and a pair of balls, wherein one of the ball is located on one side of a ring and the other ball is positioned on the opposite side of the ring. The ring is made from a loop portion extending integrally from the lure arm member. The bushing is frictionally connected to the weighted arm member so as to squeeze the balls between the bushing and a grommet, and the ring is rotationally connected to the weighted arm member passing therethrough such that the lure arm member can pivot around an axis formed by the weighted arm member.
