The vessel basically comprises a pre-molded inner vessel formed of a plastic material having a sidewall is disposed within a pre-molded outer vessel formed of a plastic material having a sidewall to form a subassembly having an insulating air space between the sidewalls. A ring of plastic material is molded in-situ on top portions of the inner and outer vessels of the subassembly to cause portions of the plastic material of the inner and outer vessels to melt and intermingle with the plastic material of the ring to form a non-superficial homogenous joint. The ring forms the rim or lip of the insulated drinking vessel.

Abstract: A stackable compartmentalized drinking cup which is similar to separate cups with joined sides is disclosed. The separate compartments are joined in the top portion of the cup, and are apart at the bottom portion. The side of each cup section facing another cup section may be planar or may be twisted along the length of at least the bottom portion of the cup so that at least part of the cup is spiral. The cups are stackable as the joined sides can fit over and slide down the sides of a similarly constructed cup when so placed so that only the upper portion of the inner cup protrudes from the outer cup. Thermally responsive paints or dyes may further distinguish the compartments.

Abstract: Described herein is a cooking device primarily for making poached eggs. The invention is a floating cup member with a finned structure and slot openings located on the underside of the cup to create a rotation in boiling water while an egg is being cooked by the boiling water flowing over and around the egg. The cup member's rotation promotes hot water circulation within the cup to properly poach an egg, while the structure of the cup keeps the egg white intact and prevents it from seeping into the cooking water.

Abstract: A system for dispensing hot beverages in single-portion beverage containers. The beverage containers are retained within a dispensing enclosure and are heated by conduction of heat from a heating surface, thereby maintain the beverages at a specified hot temperature that is hotter than comfortable to the touch. Each individual beverage container has an internal enclosure at the temperature of the heated beverage, and an insulating surround that allows a consumer to remove the can from the dispensing enclosure without touching any hot surface. The dispensing enclosure may be portable. The single-portion beverage containers have an insulating surround which leaves the container bottom clear for thermal contact with the heating surface.

Abstract: A beverage maker to selectively brew hot or cold beverages employs both a heating unit and a cooing unit. The heating unit heats a liquid, typically water, and uses the heated liquid to hot brew a beverage. Using any of a number of touch sensitive buttons, a coolant can enter a cold brewing unit which subjects the hot brewed beverage to cooling via a helical structure. Further, there may be a resting plate for the container to receive the beverage that can be selectively cooled or heated. The end result is a quick and efficient way to brew either a hot or cold beverage.
