Abstract: A portable desk device for storing items and providing a workplace surface. The device includes a desktop having a circular shaped cutout in which objects can be placed. The cutout can be used as a drink holder or for storing items, such as writing utensils. The desktop can further include a storage compartment located beneath the desktop surface, wherein books, magazines, electronic devices, and the like can be stored. The device further includes a foldable frame that supports and removably attaches to the desktop. The frame includes a pair of U-shaped side rails having a pair of vertical legs connected by a horizontal rail. The U-shaped side rails are connected by a crossbar. The frame further includes a hinge disposed in the horizontal rails so to allow the frame to be folded in a compact configuration.

The energy saving electric kettle comprises a liquid container having a charging inlet, a discharge outlet and a heating element for heating the contents of the container. The container comprises an inner wall, an outer wall and an insulation layer therebetween. The insulation layer comprises an aerogel material. Preferably, the aerogel material is a glass fibre continuous filament silica aerogel which is particularly suitable for this purpose and is efficient in operation. After boiling, the kettle maintains the water at a higher temperature for longer and furthermore will significantly reduce the energy requirement on re-boiling of the kettle.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for allowing a liquid to pass over an obstacle, comprising: a generally trapeze shaped inlet platform for allowing liquid to enter from the wide-front side, having two side walls for deflecting said liquid and narrow-back side for allowing said liquid to exit; a generally trapeze shaped outlet platform for allowing liquid to enter from the narrow-front side, having two side walls for deflecting said liquid and wide-back side for allowing said liquid to be disposed; an elevated duct connecting said inlet to said outlet having a front side in the same width of the inlet narrow-back side and a back side in the same width of the narrow-front side of the outlet; an attachment means allowing attachment to said obstacle, wherein liquid is shoveled to said inlet and disposed through said outlet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a dishwasher (1) comprising a tub (2) having a base (3), a rear wall (4) and two side walls (5) surrounding the base (3); a door (6) providing access to the tub (2), connected to the tub (2) from its lower side and opening by tilting forward; a rack (7) having a washing position wherein it is placed on the base (3) so as to entirely remain inside the tub (2) and a loading position wherein it is positioned on the inner surface of the door (6) by being moved forward when the door (6) is open and wherein loading-unloading can be performed; and a spray arm (8) that extends from the base (3) into the tub (2), that remains under the rack (7) when the rack (7) is in the washing position and that sprays water into the rack (7) by rotating around itself.

Abstract: An apparatus for introducing scale remover to a dishwasher for enabling a descaling or cleaning agent to the introduced to a dishwasher and its conduits in a manner which optimized cleaning efficacy is configured to be connected to a conventional dishwasher between the dishwasher and its water input line. A diverter having an output that is connected to the dishwasher's input conduit combines the conventional water input conduit from the water input line and a container output conduit connected to a fluid container containing a conventional descaling solution. In use, a user would actuate the apparatus for introducing scale remover to a dishwasher to cause descaling solution in the fluid container to be directed into the dishwasher input conduit and the dishwasher. Once empty, a water shut off valve controlling the water input line is opened and the dishwasher is turned on to run a normal cleaning cycle.

Abstract: A washing agent dispenser for machines for washing includes a dispenser body with a receptacle for containing a washing agent, a lid having a lid body mounted in a guided way with respect to the dispenser body for being movable between a position of closing and a position of opening of the receptacle, and sliding guides between the dispenser body and the lid body. The sliding guides include: a first guiding element and a first guided element; and a second guiding element and a second guided element. At least one of the dispenser body and the lid body includes at least one constraint element, which is additional to the first walls and second walls and is pre-arranged for limiting displacements of the guided elements with respect to the guiding elements in a direction generally transverse to a direction of sliding of the lid determined by the sliding guides.
