Abstract: A bench top for a bench seat includes mounting elements for coupling to sides of bench seat members and a seat unit. The seat unit includes: a seating top; front and back members extending generally away from the seating top; ribs extending inwardly from the front and back members that, together with a front lip and a back lip, provide front and back pockets for receiving respective mounting elements therein; and joining elements at opposing sides of the seat unit for cooperating with joining elements of adjacent units. The seat unit is resilient to move the front and back lips away from each other for installation over the mounting elements and to return to a less flexed state as the front and back lips move toward each other when the mounting elements are received in the front and back pockets.

Abstract: In many aspects, the systems and methods described herein include mattress assemblies with attached sensory devices. The mattress assembly comprises a mattress core, an attached headboard, a mattress cover at least partially enclosing the mattress core, and at least one customer assistance sensory device attached to at least one of the core, headboard, and cover. The customer assistance sensory device is configured to present at least one parameter of the mattress core or assembly as at least a visual signal. Visual signals may include one or more distinct colors, shapes, or graphic patterns that correspond to one or more parameter of the mattress core or assembly.

Abstract: In many aspects, the systems and methods described herein include mattress assemblies with attached sensory devices. Abstract: A method and system may include transmitting a signal to a pump of an air mattress to set the pressure of the air mattress to an initial pressure; receiving, at a central controller, a user preference condition for an automatic adjustment of the pressure in the air mattress; receiving, at the central controller, an indication that the air mattress is empty; and based on determining that the user preference condition has been met and receiving the indication: detecting a change in the pressure of the air mattress beyond a threshold value; and based on the detection, adjusting the pressure of the air mattress to the initial pressure.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an anti-slip protective cover. The anti-slip protective cover includes a first layer formed of a protective material and a second layer formed of an anti-slip material. The anti-slip protective cover also includes a connection binding the first layer to the second layer at at least one location on the interior portion. The connective material may be arranged in a plurality of strips extending across a portion of the interior portion of the anti-slip material and the protective material. The connective material may traverse the interior portion from a first portion of the peripheral region to a second portion of the peripheral region.

Abstract: A back lifting chair designed for treating and preventing back problems by reducing pressure on a user's spinal disc. The chair provides an up-lifting motion on the user's torso, reducing the weight and pressure asserted on the lumbar disc, and preventing any further damage to it. The chair can be modified from an existing chair. In one configuration, a torso lifting harness which can lift the user's upper torso is connected to the backrest of the chair. The back rest of the chair provides an upward and downward movement, hence partially or completely lifting the user from the seat, effectively reducing the pressure on the user's spine and back. The upward motion can be initialized by the user, or alternatively, it can be automatically activated by the weight sensor installed on the seat area which detects the prolonged period of sitting.

The coverage of the baby's thighs is adjusted according to the baby's body size to maximize the support the baby's body receives.

The fan plenum assembly includes a plenum housing that defines an opening configured to receive a fan, and that has a side wall with a slot and a slot extension continuous with the slot. The slot has a major axis extending through a center of the slot. A bearing is configured to rotationally support a hinge pin and is coupled to the side wall. The bearing includes a positioning element that is disposed in the slot and in the slot extension. The positioning element is movable within the slot and the slot extension such that the bearing is movable along the major axis to permit axial adjustment of a position of the bearing relative to the plenum housing and the bearing is immovable rotationally relative to the plenum housing.

A product display assembly can be provided, having one or more shelves provided along a width of the product display assembly, a plurality of hang extrusions provided along a length of a bottom portion of each of the shelves, wherein each hang extrusion comprises a top portion, a vertical portion extending from the top portion, and a base portion extending from the vertical portion, a plurality of hanging mechanisms each having a first end configured to be supported by the base portion of the hang extrusion and a second end, and one or more modules configured to display products therein and connected to a second end of the hanging mechanism for supporting the module on the shelf.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, I presently contemplate a cruciform support base (20), semi-circular dial (10), and concentric semi-circular brace (16) that work together to support the corner of a record and/or planar article. The dial (10) and brace (16) are fastened to the support base (20) and machined in such a way that they form a simple, economical, and adaptable mechanical unit (24). Once paired with a minimum number of units, and mounted to a wall, they cooperate to display any number of records, planar articles, and/or combination thereof in an attractive, tight, grid-like configuration. Furthermore, the design of this system also allows for any one record and/or planar article to be easily retrieved or stored with the swipe of a finger.

The shower curtain is made of a flexible material and includes opposing upper and lower edges. A plurality of curtain hooks may be attached to the upper edge of the shower curtain. Abstract: A bedding blanket comprising a layer of memory foam sandwiched between two outer layers of fabric. Stitching secures the three sandwiched layers together to maintain them in close proximity to each other. Stitching is located along the outer edge, in the creation of a hem, and in a sufficient manner across the body of the blanket to adequately secure the three layers together. The inclusion of memory foam enhances the usefulness of the blanket with an improved warming effect, when serving as padding to sit or lie upon, and when serving as a comfort/security object.

Abstract: A doubled-layer disposable cup assembly with air insulation comprises of two layered-cups one inside the other. Each layer has a truncated conical side wall with an outwardly joined rim at the top ends and a bottom wall at the smaller end. The outwardly joined rim of the inner layer maintains an air space between the side walls of the two layers. The contacts at the bottom and top provide support for the inner layer and maintain it in axial alignment with the outer layer. The contact pressure between the rim of the inner layer and the side wall of the outer layer essentially seals the air space for a more efficient air insulation and also provides a force that keeps the inner layer and the outer layer together.

Each of the cells is comprised of a water permeable and flexible material. The cells each have an absorbent material therein that expands when hydrated such that the absorbent material fills and expands the cells. The cells are hydrated and frozen such that the cells are abuttable against a container to cool the container.

The upper layer and the lower layer are perimetrically connected to each other. This engagement between the upper layer and the lower layer encloses around the cushioning layer. More specifically, the lower layer is beneath the cushioning layer and the upper layer is above the cushioning layer. Abstract: A fruit and vegetable coring system comprises a tube in the form of a cylinder exhibiting a cutting edge (cylindrical blade) on one end and attachment to a handle at the other end. This cylindrical blade is used to make a cylindrical incision about the core of a fruit (or vegetable) and potentially slice through the entire depth of the fruit (or vegetable). In certain cooking applications, it is desirable to remove the core of the fruit, and not slice through the entire depth of the fruit, but retain a floor below the core for the retention of cooking stuffs. To make provision for this application, some form of planar blade(s) is made part of the interior of the cylinder in the proximity of the cylindrical blade for the purpose of shearing the fruit core and freeing it from the fruit upon rotation of the cylinder about its longitudinal axis once inserted in the fruit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a more efficient chafing dish basin or Bain Marie for the hotel/catering and hospitality industry, that has a first exterior basin with a heating element, a second basin comprising an insulating base, one or more heat conductive layers and a third food basin. The first exterior basin has a heating element that extends through the insulation base, and heat conductive layer(s) to contact the bottom of the food basin. The heating element can be heated by naked flames or electrically. Sufficient heat is transferred to the food basin to obviate the need for water or allows for significantly less water to be used, increasing the safety profile of these chafing dishes.

The stabilizer includes an underside with a flat surface that will rest against the sink counter and provide stability in use. The toothbrush holder can be easily rinsed off or placed in a dishwasher for sanitation. A vertical stand feature is added for storage and to allow the toothbrush to air dry. Finally, the horizontal toothbrush stabilizer design allows the incorporation of art that is applied via embossing or by shaping.
