Abstract: The disclosed device is a travel case that includes an internal projection for headband retention. The projection is sized larger than the relaxed position of standard headbands. Thus, when a headband is placed on the projection, the curved strip of the headband is stretched. The result is compression by the headband against the projection, holding the headband in position. When held in place, any ornamental component of the headband is held in a position separated from the walls of the case. Thus, the ornamental component is protected from damage due to rubbing or crushing.

Within the housing and proximal to the rear-facing opening is a vertically translating nail-cutting blade plate associated with an electric motor that is configured to translate the nail-cutting blade plate consecutively down and up. Abstract: The Adjustable Slant Board was developed to provide a comfortable alternative to sitting, standing, and lying down. It is a collapsible apparatus that when erect allows the user to stand and recline on a platform. The device is comprised of several sections which provide for the adjustment of the angle of the slant board when in use. Reclining the body in an erect position relieves pressure on the lower back while allowing the user the ability to perform many tasks of daily living. When placed in the most comfortable position, the user is free to watch TV eat, read, use electronic devices, etc. The collapsibility of the Adjustable Slant Board allows it to be stored out of the way if only needed occasionally. Slant boards have been used previously in exercise equipment primarily to invert the body. A slant board designed to provide a stable platform from which to perform other tasks more comfortably is novel.

There is also a fixation lock installed between the stopper and the slide sleeve to automatically lock the chair when unfolded to the correct position. A clicking sound of the handle snapping into the lock hole serves as a signal to the user that the chair has been opened to the correct position.

The pocketed springs are positioned side by side in a spring layer arrangement and are independently operable. A memory foam layer positioned above the upholstery foam envelope comprises a material capable of molding to a person's body sitting on the sofa seat cushion and then quickly returning to an original shape once the person leaves the sofa seat cushion. The memory foam layer comprises a gel-infused visco-elastic memory foam with a polyethylene terephthalate layer positioned there above. Directly below the upholstery foam envelope is an upholstery-grade polyurethane foam layer with a polyethylene terephthalate layer positioned directly thereunder. An exterior upholstery surrounding the cushion core provides a plush seating surface.

Abstract: A ready-to-assemble (“RTA”) sofa suitable for outdoor use comprising a seat base and a back rest that can be reconfigured between a use configuration in which the sofa has a conventional L-shaped cross-section and a shipping or storage configuration in which the sofa is arranged in a more efficiently stacked rectangular cross-section. The rectangular cross-section allows the sofa to be more efficiently stacked with other sofas during shipping or storage. In addition, the rectangular cross-section reduces the dead spaces created when an L-shaped sofa is inserted into a box that can collapse during shipping or storage. Moreover, providing a single rigid integral component, the seat base, as an internal skeletal component, provides vertical support extending substantially the height of the box at the opposing ends, provides a highly robust boxed package.
