Using the difference in thickness between loop regions and the non-loop region, intermittent coating can be achieved by feeding the header tape through a small gap between a press roller and a coating roller. The gap is chosen so that it is smaller than the thickness of the loop regions but larger than the thickness of the non-loop region of the header tape.
