Abstract: A two-container dispenser for storing, mixing and dispensing hair dye for touch up applications. The dispenser retains and separates two hair dye components until they are to be mixed immediately prior to application of the dye. The two containers are permanently secured together via a valve assembly. When the valve assembly is in a closed position, the interior chambers and therefore the contents of the containers remain separated. When the valve assembly is opened by rotating one of the containers through 90 degrees, the two interior chambers are placed into fluid communication with each other and the contents can flow between the containers to form a hair dye mixture. The connections between the first and second containers and the valve assembly are such that all three remain secured together when the valve assembly is moved between the closed and open positions.

Abstract: A liquid-applying device is provided, which does not allow the contents to touch the skin of the head when the contents are applied to the hair. The volume of liquid to be discharged from this device can be controlled. The comb attachment is small and can be dismounted. After the use, inside flow passage can be closed. Even if this device is used with a tubular container having the force of recovery, the container is prevented from taking in outside air (oxygen, etc.), and thus, is protected against dust and/or bacteria in the air. The liquid-applying device comprises a tubular container, a connecting/discharging unit, and a comb attachment. The connecting/discharging unit has a cylindrical passage and a fitting cylinder that can be fitted to the neck of the tubular container. Abstract: An applicator for depositing a hair treatment fluid composition to a discreet strand of hair. The applicator is a longitudinal container having a hook-shaped coating tip. The applicator has an inner surface defining a reservoir therein for containing the hair treatment fluid composition. The hook-shaped coating tip defines a transverse channel adapted to receive a cross-section of a strand of hair. At least one orifice extends from the reservoir to the transverse channel to allow the hair treatment fluid composition to flow from the reservoir into the transverse channel. Using the present apparatus, the hair treatment fluid composition may be deposited on the discreet strand of hair held in the channel without inadvertently coating the adjacent mane.
