Abstract: An apparatus comprising a cover and applicators is provided. In some instances, wells embossed in the cover near the applicator ends of the applicators are provided. Unit doses are provided. Each unit dose is either attached to an applicator end of a different applicator or, in embodiments having wells, individually located in wells. The unit doses comprise at least a dose of a first product and a dose of a second product. A base is attached to the cover. The applicators are placed edge to edge with their sides respectively in the same planes and the gripping end of each applicator is frangibly attached to the base so as to be enclosed by and between the sides of the cover and so as to be integral with the cover. The cover may be opened out like a book and the applicators may be individually broken off the base.

The puff has a puffing section and a small-diameter held section protruding from the puffing section. The puffing section is formed with a large-diameter central conduit. The held section is formed with a small-diameter perforation communicating with the conduit, whereby the conduit and the perforation together form a passage for makeup powder. The held section is fixedly held in the fitting hole. An annular groove is formed on outer circumference of the held section and adapted to a rim of the fitting hole.

Abstract: A cosmetic applicator and method of manufacturing same, wherein the cosmetic applicator is formed of a substrate and an application element comprising one or more application areas that are cohesively maintained on the substrate in a gapless, side-by-side formation in the presence of wet and/or dry binders. The substrate is subjected to a wetting agent that provides a better bind for the cosmetic slurries as they are printed onto their respective application area. The cosmetic compositions of each cosmetic application area may be different. Various cosmetic effects may be provided to end-users in a portable application.

Abstract: An applicator device for a cosmetic product includes a backing sheet in which at least one applicator is cut out or pre-cut. The backing sheet includes a first face which, over at least part of the applicator, holds the cosmetic product, and a second face having an adhesive associated therewith over at least part of the applicator. In addition, a film extends over at least the adhesive-coated part of the second face, with the film capable of being at least partially detached from the backing sheet to give access to the applicator and enabling the applicator to be lifted off by its adhesive face.

Abstract: One embodiment of a head-switchable brush, comprises a brush head, a ferrule, and a brush handle. The ferrule has the head at one end and the handle at the other end. There is a piece of magnet attached to the brush handle and ferrule respectively where the two parts connect. The brush head can be switched and assembled with the handle easily whenever needed. The ferrule can be kept firmly on the handle by the action of the magnet inside. The head-switchable function of this brush kit can greatly enlarge the brush applying space and also avoid the material wasting since this brush kit has one handle only but with various brush head.

The mascara kit includes a kit container for holding: a mascara container, a cleanable palette suitable for receiving mascara, and a brush having bristles arrayed in a concave shape. In one form, the brush includes a handle with an axis such that the axis aligns with a focus of the concave shape of the bristles. To use the mascara kit, an amount of mascara is transferred from the mascara container to a clean palette. Next, a user applies the amount of mascara from the palette to her eyelashes with a clean applicator. A plurality of locking mechanisms releasably secure a plurality of implements within tubes enclosed by a case. The case has a lid that closes it when it is not in use. The locking mechanisms consist of a locking pin with a locking pin tab on one end with its opposing end slidably inserted through a guide slot and a tube slot into a locking pin receiving channel. A spring encircling the opposing end of the locking pin pushes it into the sidewall of the tube to engage the locking mechanism.

Abstract: A disc-type cosmetic applicator has a plurality of individual discs connected by integrally molded springs to yield a single disc array. The space between the individual discs of the disc array is compressible during withdrawal from a container so that excess product can be removed from the applicator by a wiper. After passage through the wiper, the springs between the individual discs are biased to return to the array to a fully expanded position. The compressing of the discs during withdrawal allows a controlled amount of product to remain on the applicator for application by the consumer, and the returning of the discs to their expanded position by the spring causes the discs to assume a configuration which allows the applicator to effectively comb and separate the eyelashes. The single unit construction of the multi-disc array allows efficient and convenient assembly of a complete applicator by securing a single disc array to a conventional applicator stem with a simple pin.
