Abstract: The present invention provides a mosquito net frame. A rectangular top frame portion of the mosquito net frame is realized by easily assembling square tubes or rods and fittings together. Square tubes or rods are also used for corner columns that also interface with the fittings of the top frame at each corner of the top frame. A foot is added at the bottom of each column to assist in supporting the mosquito net frame from a frame of a cot or from a ground surface. A conventional mosquito netting or other fabric is supported by the mosquito net frame to protect a sleeping person. Disassembly and transport is realized by simply pulling the square tubes from the fittings and placing the components in a container with a secured lid for carrying, shipping and storing the mosquito net frame.

Abstract: The Blakney “Canopy Frame with Outdoor Canopies for Chair” was invented to provide a portable and aesthetic solution for a number of problems that confront people when they sit outdoors. Many ways have been devised to attach shades to chairs or to add seats to blinds, often with very complex mechanisms. This invention minimizes mechanism and expands function. This “Canopy Frame for Chair” consists of three integral parts: canopies, frame, and chairbag. A set of interchangeable canopies includes a sunshade, a mosquito net, and a photography or changing blind The collapsible canopy frame, over which canopies can be draped, can be easily mounted and removed from a chair. The chair bag not only serves as the mounting system for attaching the canopy frame to a chair, but also has a pouch to store the canopies. The invention is lightweight, streamlined and completely portable even collapsing neatly with a folding chair.

The flexible membrane preferably includes first and second sleeves defining first and second lumens receiving the first and second inflatable tubes, respectively, and a plurality of wall panels coupled to and extending between the first and second sleeves.

  • Patent number: 6257259
Abstract: There is disclosed herein a multipurpose frame for use with a top mounted vehicle rack wherein the frame telescopingly attaches to the rack. As such, the frame is laterally extensible from the side of the vehicle and may be used to support a canopy, shower or serve as a clothes line or rain catch. A canopy may be attached at the outside ends of a plurality of extensions attached to the frame. The extensions may be removably attachable at the mounting portions of the frame of the present invention. In this fashion the canopy is sturdily supported by the extensions and can provide shade and protection from the elements to one who remains beneath it. Side walls may be attached to the frame to provide additional protection as well.

Abstract: A lightweight, easy to assemble spa cover kit is disclosed herein. The cover kit includes a square or rectangular-shaped overhead cap pivotally attached at two corners along one end to two dual hinged support posts. The cap is made of lightweight, weather-proof material, such as molded fiberglass, and may include skylights to allow natural light through during use. The lower end of each dual hinged support post is pivotally attached to the deck surface on which the spa sits. During use, the upper end of each dual hinged support post is pivotally attached to one comer of the cap. After the lower ends of the dual hinged support posts are attached to the deck and the upper ends of the support posts are attached to the corners of the cap, the dual hinged support posts are slowly lifted to a vertical position while the cap is slowly rotated so that it is aligned horizontally over the spa.
