Each of the spring fingers may be configured to contact and electrically couple to one of the plurality of ground planes, wherein the ground clip is to provide a conduction path between each of the spring fingers. One of the spring fingers may pass through an opening or cut-through in a first ground plane to contact a second ground plane. The device may be a mobile communication or computing platform.

    Abstract: By providing a single housing, component or element incorporating a plurality of passageways or receiving zones formed therein in cooperating association with a mounting ring or clamp constructed for being quickly and easily secured to a clamp, conductor or conduit mounted to an electrical box, junction box, meter box, or similar enclosure, an efficient, easily manufactured and easily assembled bonding bar or grounding bridge is achieved. Preferably, the plurality of passageways/receiving zones are constructed with each passageway or receiving zone cooperatively associated with a locking screw or set screw configured to enable grounding conductors to be inserted through the passageway/receiving zone and securely mounted therein. In this way, grounding conductors from telephones, cable televisions, satellite receivers, radios, television antennas, and the like may be inserted into the passageways/receiving zones and securely mounted in the desired position.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed in order to provide an electromagnetic pulse shield ground path. In this regard, a shielded power feeder assembly is provided that includes a plurality of conductors comprising a neutral conductor and at least one power feeder conductor. Each conductor includes an electromagnetic pulse shield. The shielded power feeder assembly also includes a fanning bar ground block. The fanning bar ground block includes a body member defining a plurality of openings for receiving respective neutral and power feeder conductors. The fanning bar ground block also includes a plurality of barrels associated with respective openings defined by the body member and configured to be positioned in electrical contact with the shield of the conductor extending through the respective opening. The shielded power feeder assembly also includes a ground path extending from the fanning bar ground block. A corresponding method is also disclosed.

Each upper extension and lower extension may have an isosceles triangle shape with a first side and a second side of equal length and a rounded corner therebetween. The lower extensions may be offset from the upper extensions such that a space between any two lower extensions aligns with an upper extension.

    Abstract: A handheld electronic device may be provided that contains a conductive housing and other conductive elements. The conductive elements may form an antenna ground plane. One or more antennas for the handheld electronic device may be formed from the ground plane and one or more associated antenna resonating elements. Transceiver circuitry may be connected to the resonating elements by transmission lines such as coaxial cables. Ferrules may be crimped to the coaxial cables. A bracket with extending members may be crimped over the ferrules to ground the coaxial cables to the housing and other conductive elements in the ground plane. The ground plane may contain an antenna slot. A dock connector and flex circuit may overlap the slot in a way that does not affect the resonant frequency of the slot. Electrical components may be isolated from the antenna using isolation elements such as inductors and resistors.
