Abstract: A shell assembly configured for holding one or more weighted articles includes an outer shell having an outer surface and an inner surface defining a cavity configured for receiving the article(s) therein, with an opening providing access to the cavity, a closure configured for selectively opening and closing the opening, and a securing structure configured for securing the article(s) within the cavity to limit movement of the article(s). The securing structure includes a plurality of adjustable straps each connected to the inner surface of the outer shell at a first securing point and a second securing point on opposite sides of the opening. Each of the straps is adjustable with respect to the outer shell to increase or decrease an effective length of the respective strap between the respective securing points, to increase or decrease a distance between the respective securing points and thereby constrict or expand the outer shell.

Abstract: The present invention comprises an apparatus for protecting and providing a stand for a display, which may be an electronic display, which resolves the issues of the prior art in a novel, self-contained, easy to deploy manner. The apparatus of the invention is comprised of a transportation case configured to be utilized as part of the stand when it is desired to support a display, deployable elements contained in the transportation case that enable easy and rapid deployment of the stand and display, and other elements, including, optionally, the display itself. Abstract: A trigger latch assembly for releasably securing a latch by pivotal rotation comprising a latch trigger pivotally joined to a rotatable latch cover. The trigger latch assembly may be attached to a variety of devices including luggage type transport cases. A latch trigger biasing member is attached to the latch trigger and also engages the latch cover. The latch trigger has a perpendicularly extending member having a detent which pivotally engages a retaining lip on a device to be latched when downward force is applied to the latch cover which pivotally rotates the latch trigger in cooperation with the biasing member, thereby latching closed the device. The latch is released by pivotably rotating the trigger latch towards the latch cover to displace the detent from engagement with the lip to thereby unlatch the device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a case product, and in particular, a combined golf equipment case that is easy to be conveyed and packaged. The combined golf equipment case comprises a cover and a base, which are connected by at least one detachable/combinable pivoting device provided on one side of the cover and the opposing side of the base. When the cover and the base are combined with the pivoting device, the cover can be lifted up from the base. When the cover and the base are separated by detaching the pivoting device, the cover, after detached and reversed, can be stacked on the inside of the base. At least one drawbolt lock for locking the cover and the base is provided on the other sides of the cover and the base that are opposite to the sides where the pivoting device is provided, so as to avoid unwittingly opening the cover and the base.

Abstract: A container is provided having corresponding shells that mate together about a joint to create an enclosed airtight container. A valve seat is formed on the exterior of a shell adjacent the joint. The valve seat has an opening in communication with the container interior. A latch assembly is used to secure the shells in a closed position. The assembly includes a latch body which is attached to a shell by a hinge fastener close to said joint. The inside face of the latch body is provided with a valve gasket having a curved outer face that is aligned and sealingly engageable with the valve seat. When the latch is closed, the gasket will seal against the valve seat. When the latch is dislodged from its connection to the other shell, the gasket will be simultaneously removed from the valve seat and allow air to flow through the opening. This action permits equalization of any pressure differentials between ambient pressure and the pressure in the container interior.

The apertures provide reduction in bulk and allow the case to conform to the corners of the device therein. Alternately, the protection at the corners can be provided by other structures co-molded into the corners of the cases. Such structures include material that is of a reduced thickness than other material used in the case, or structures that are formed to conform to the corners of the case. Such structures can be joined to the material forming the panels of the case by co-molding.
