Abstract: The combination suitcase and chair apparatus provides a suitcase typical in appearance to many others. However, somewhat hidden within the suitcase are the four legs and the section leg that provide for the apparatus to be used as a chair. The four legs telescope and provide for the first section to be the adjustable height chair bottom. The section leg pivots and telescopes from the second section such that the second section is an adjustably angled chair back. The section leg is removably covered by a flap substantially like the flaps that cover the four legs of the first section. Importantly, both the first section and second section have a removable cushioned mat. The mats provide cushioned comfort and also provide for covering the cavity within each section. The cavities are used as would be those in a typical suitcase.

Abstract: A carrying container in a form of an ergonomically shaped handbag that has a variety of convenience features. The convenience features include, but are not limited to, a self locking top flap, a secure ID feature implemented in the top flap, a hidden retractable handle, hidden secret compartments, compartment quick access features and detachable shoulder strap, a plurality of interchangeable top flaps and a back flap. A handbag has an ergonomic shape that provides for added convenience of carrying the handbag under the arm. The handbag also has a detachable strap that can be used for carrying the bag in a variety of ways.

Abstract: This is a combination computer work station, cosmetic desk, casual/open tote and luggage set device. The device is easily transported and the area to push or pull luggage may be expanded to stow various pieces of luggage. Luggage may be partially filled yet secured by the divider device.

Abstract: A portable luggage device includes a case, and spaced apart telescoping sections carried by the case that are extendable between a retracted position and an extended position. An inner handle is coupled to exposed ends of the telescoping sections. An outer handle encloses the inner handle, and support arms are coupled to the outer handle for supporting a laptop computer. The outer handle is rotatable with respect to the inner handle between a stowed position defined by the support arms aligned with the telescoping sections, and a deployed position defined by the support arms extending outwards from the telescoping sections.

Abstract: A baby changing duffel includes a changing pad formed of resilient material, sized and shaped to serve as a changing surface for either an infant or a toddler. The pad is covered with a removable, washable cover. The cover is sized and shaped to fit over the changing pad and has an inner changing surface and an outer surface. An upper pouch is attached adjacent to an upper end of the outer surface. A retaining sleeve is attached to a lower end of the cover and encloses a folded portion of the pad and cover. The side pockets have interior compartments and are attached at the edges of the outer surface of the cover. The side pockets are folded over the inner changing surface for transport. A carrying handle extends between side edges of the cover and is located to support the duffel when folded to fit the retaining sleeve.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a resilient foam pad that is integrated into the bottom exterior of a tool bag. More specifically, the invention relates to maximizing the inter-compatibility of a tool bag and a highly portable foam pad. The upper surface of the foam pad is adorned with a nylon loop fastener attracting carpet. Attached to the bottom side of the tool bag is a nylon hook fastener lining. The tool bag is designed to offer storage and detachment of the foam pad without having to open the tool bag compartment. Alternative embodiments of the foam pad would include a rubber sealed version for use in wet conditions.

Abstract: A sports equipment bag with an integrated stool for storing, carrying and transporting sporting equipment while providing a foot support to aide a user in donning their sporting equipment. The foot support can be utilized by a single person alone to aid in putting their own equipment on or the foot support can be used in combination with the integrated stool to assist a first person in aiding a second person in donning equipment. The stool and foot support are integrated into the bag and the foot support is positioned within the bag's internal compartment. Along the bottom portion of the bag are a pair of spaced apart ground engaging wheels rotatably and a telescopic handle may be extendable from the bag, thus making the bag, stool and foot support easily storable and transportable.

Abstract: The carrying device of the present invention provides a unique construction which allows a user to collapse and store the carrying device in a way that allows it to be deployed, set-up quickly, and packed away again. The carrying device of the present invention comprises a back panel, a front panel, a bottom panel and side panels. When the panels of the carrying device are zipped together, the carrying device provides a convenient enclosure for storing and carrying items. When the panels of the carrying device are unzipped, the carrying device may be collapsed to a compact shape for easy storage.

Abstract: Inspired by the many people carrying their pillows with them when they travel, we decided that the Pillow Porter would fulfill a need. It is a 32 inch wide, 22 inch high, 2.5 inch deep fabric bag for the express purpose of conveniently transporting a bed pillow without tying up your hands. It has an attached strap which can be used over the shoulder or across the chest, leaving hands free for more important tasks.

Abstract: A diaper changing article comprising a flat circular body preferably having a plurality of fold lines therein, wherein the body is adapted to be folded about the fold lines to open and close the changing article; preferably, a storage area radially arranged about a center of the circular body, wherein at least one pocket in the storage area has an opening proximal to the center of the circular body; and at least one handle coupled to the outer edge, wherein a handle is adapted to carry the body is exposed in the closed position and a second handle is adapted to maintain the body in the closed position. In one embodiment, the article has at least one pocket which has an opening that is proximal to the outer edge of the circular body. The diaper changing article preferably has a polygonal shape, such as a square, when folded closed.

Abstract: A portable wardrobe storage and changing device that allow the user to easily transport uniforms and costumes to a performance site and then convert the device into a private changing station. The device includes a rigid internal frame with a lower frame and a perpendicularly aligned upward extending frame member. Attached to the lower frame are two wheels that allow the device to be manually pulled over a flat surface. Extending around the frame is a four-sided flexible bag with an adjustable upper lid. The bag also includes a first vertical slide connector and a second horizontal slide connector that allows the bag to selectively opened or closed. Disposed between the lid and the flexible bag is a slide connector that allows three edges of the lid to be selectively detached from the bag. When the three slide connectors are detached, the lid may be lifted and the two side panels and the two front panel sections maybe opened and extended to form a changing station.

Abstract: A portable organizing device is provided, which further comprises a connecting mechanism for removably attaching the device to a tray table commonly found on commercial airliners. This device can be used to secure or contain items commonly carried by travelers, such as pens, tissues, medicines, books, and playing cards, and can be folded and carried as a small handbag, which can also be used to transport the same items. The connecting mechanism can be comprised of straps which further comprise VELCRO for attaching one strap to another around the tray table.

Abstract: A bag that can be used as a towel is comprised of solely a foldable flat material having a carrying strap for slinging on, or carrying. A flat surface for lying, or sitting upon, can be provided by repeatedly unfolding the bag. The flat surface material can be folded up again to form the bag, as needed.

Abstract: A backpack assembly includes a luggage case having a first attachment interface and a backpack having a second attachment interface. The second attachment interface is configured to be mated with the first attachment interface to removably attach the backpack to the luggage case. The luggage case further includes a flap with a third attachment interface that is configured to be mated with the first attachment interface if the backpack is detached from the luggage case.

Abstract: A sporting equipment carrying bag having an integrated footwear donning stool for storing and transporting sporting equipment and aiding in the donning of footwear is provided. The bag includes a bag body having top, bottom, front, back, and a pair of side panels defining an internal compartment. A stool including top, bottom, front, back, and a pair of side walls. The front wall having a slanted wall portion which slants in a direction from front to back of the stool. The stool is positioned within the internal compartment with the top wall juxtaposed the top panel, the bottom wall juxtaposed the bottom panel, and the pair of side walls extending between the top and bottom panels. The bag body can be placed on a ground surface with the bottom panel adjacent the ground surface providing a seating surface defined by the top wall and a foot supporting surface defined by the slanted wall portion to aid in the donning of an article of footwear.

Abstract: A portable display apparatus and method for transporting and displaying sample products along with an electronic device is disclosed. The portable display apparatus comprises a container, a platform, and a cover, wherein the cover is removably attached to the container. Removal of the cover allows for both a display portion and compartments within the container to be accessed. The present invention is useful in presenting a product to prospective customers at any location necessary.

Abstract: A suitcase has retractable telescoping legs that are stored on the edges of the suitcase and are deployed into a position with respect to the suitcase that resembles a hospital gurney. The suitcase is then oriented horizontally but in a location that is elevated to be convenient for packing or unpacking. The legs have casters on them and are telescoped and folded adjacent to edges of the suitcase during storage so the legs are out of the way, but with the casters located adjacent to one edge of the suitcase in the manner of wheeled suitcases.

Abstract: A carrying bag accessory featuring a mat that is externally affixed to a bag or any variant bag designs such as a gym bag, duffle bag, rucksack, backpack, etc., and conveniently stored in a folded configuration when not in use and deployed in an unfolded configuration adjacent to the bag when in use to provide a flat clean surface upon which a user can rest or place items on. The mat is comprised of a multiplicity of rigid or semi-rigid hinged panels carefully configured to fold in such a manner as to preserve the cleanliness of surfaces that come into contact with the user. The mat is retained in a folded configuration by means of magnetic or other types of fasteners allowing the deployment and storage of the mat by the user with minimal contact and effort.

Abstract: A luggage item is convertible from a duffle bag form to a garment bag form by disengaging duffle end panels from the lateral sides of the garment bag and folding those end panels against the inside of the garment bag. Various arrangements of handles and carry straps are disclosed which facilitate transport of the luggage item as a duffle bag or a garment bag.

Abstract: The convertible tote bag of the present invention comprises a container of any width, depth and length that can be either closed or open at the top, with or without exterior or interior pockets, with two carrying straps of adjustable size that are permanently attached on one end on opposite sides of the bag diagonally across from each other. The convertible tote bag can be carried in the hand or on the shoulder when the end of each strap that is not permanently attached to the bag is selectively attached to the attachment mechanism on the same side of the bag. In this invention there are two ways for the convertible tote bag to be worn as a backpack.

Abstract: A convertible luggage device including a retractable handle assembly and at least one pair of extendable wheels. Included is a brake system operating to lock at least one of the wheels. In one aspect, the device forms a stroller. In another aspect, the device includes straps for engaging a car seat or a basket for receiving luggage or other items. By embodying a broad wheel base, the present invention provides a stable platform for pushing or pulling luggage or for performing as a stroller.

Abstract: A folding travel bag with a cart, which can be used not only as an ordinary travel bag but also as a cart. The folding travel bag includes: a box-shaped travel bag body having a pair of wheels on the bottom face of the body closer to the back: a folding plate having two flat plates connected so that they can be freely folded and borne perpendicularly to the body surface and so that one end of the flat plates is hinged to the lower position on the surface side of the body; a pair of wheels disposed at the leading end portion of said folding plate; and support member extending obliquely upward of the two sides of the body from the two sides of the folding plate. Both the paired wheels on the leading end portion of the folding plate and the paired wheels on the body bottom face are arranged on the floor to bear the body, when the folding plate is folded and brought closer to the side of the body surface or when the folding plate is extended perpendicularly to the body surface.

Abstract: A convertible carrying assembly has separable upper and lower sections, and a removable lower outer covering. The upper section consists of a small handbag with external fasteners for holding the lower outer covering and lower section. When disconnected, the upper section may be used as a handbag. The lower section includes a removable drawer-style organizer. Side panels formed from the outer covering may be unzipped to give access to the drawers in the organizer. If desired, the organizer may be removed for stand-alone use. The outer covering may be used as a stand-alone bag, or may be unzipped to form a flat surface that can be further used or folded for a variety of functions.

Abstract: A container with a cover for concealing an extendable handle and shoulder straps attached to the container is provided. The container is configured to be wheeled on a set of wheels by way of the extendable handle in a first transport mode and carried on a person's back using the shoulder straps in a second transport mode. The container has a front compartment for storing items, and a rear compartment for housing the extendable handle and the shoulder straps that are attached to and used for carrying the container. The shoulder straps and the extendable handle are both deployable from a covered opening in the rear compartment proximate to the container's top. The container further comprises a cover for covering at least a portion of the set of wheels in a second transport mode.

Abstract: A portable containment system including a open weave netting side and a solid fabric backing that is foldable about a center support structure allows quick and easy storage and transportation of items in a vehicle cargo or trunk area. The portable containment can be used for both storing and manually transporting items outside a vehicle.

Abstract: A utility bag having a plurality of compartments that are connected to one another by an articulation segment is disclosed. The utility bag, particularly useful as an infant care bag, has a stacked position and an opened position. When the bag is transformed from the stacked position to the opened position it is unfolded about the one or more articulation segments. The utility bag additionally includes zippers to secure the compartments in the stacked position. Also disclosed are numerous features and sub features useful for stowing and securing items in a utility bag.

The interior carrying space of the body portion of the bag includes an inside surface. The bag further includes at least one holding location positioned on the inside surface of the interior carrying space of the body portion. The at least one holding location includes a top and a bottom, an interior holding space, and an access opening to the interior holding space positioned at the bottom of the holding location.

Abstract: A folding travel bag with a cart, which can be used not only as an ordinary travel bag but also as a cart. Abstract: An insert for use with a conventional sports bag for organizing, carrying, drying, and storing sports gear. The insert has mesh pockets, straps for attaching clothing and equipment to the insert, and loops for suspending the insert from a hook. The insert can easily be pulled into a shape that fits into a conventional sports bag. Once inserted into the sports bag, all the pockets on the insert remain fully functional and accessible, with the openings of the large mesh pockets and the full-size mesh pocket being readily accessible from the top of the sports bag.

Abstract: A luggage case is provided with straps or handles for carrying the case and a wheel and an extendable handle assembly for dragging or pulling the case. The wheel and extendable handle assembly is removably attachable to the case, such that it need not be carried when the case is carried by the straps or handles. The wheel and handle assembly are formed as a shell to snugly surround the luggage case. In the preferred embodiment, the case and the shell are joined by mating zippers at the bottom front and top rear edges of the assembly.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a carrying case capable of housing the computer during use. A flap arranged in the front wall of the carrying case may be opened whereby the computer is revealed and ready for use. The openable flap in the front wall is hinged to the lower part of the front wall, whereby said flap is capable of being opened to an opening angle in a range between 0 degree and 175 degree and capable of keeping said opening angle or a smaller angle when the opening force is removed. Thereby the flap cannot fall to a position behind the computer taking up extra space. Preferably the flap is provided with closing means whereby the flap will close automatically when an opening force is removed from the flap. In use the computer top part may be opened to reveal the keys and the display is arranged in the angle suitable for the actual user, whereby the flap is opened to a position having a substantially identical opening angle not falling to a table behind the computer.

A pocket provided at and across the first end region, has an opening facing the second end region and is sized to receive and contain the second end region and the intermediate region, the pocket being configured for being turned inside out to form a tote bag containing the second end region and the intermediate region. A zipper is provided for enabling the closing of the pocket opening before and after the pocket is turned inside out. A decorative or waterproof lining may be attached to the pocket to form the outside of the tote bag when the pocket is turned inside out. A tote bag carrying strap is installed inside the pocket. A method of making the convertible article is also disclosed.

The second compartment has a cover defining and providing access to the integrated luggage cover that is permanently affixed to the inside layer of the second compartment. The integrated luggage cover is comprised of a water resistive material and, upon extraction from the second compartment, is deployed to form a protective shell around the first compartment. A permanently affixed cover facilitates the user's need to protect the luggage container in an efficient and convenient manner.

Abstract: A combined carrying case and workstation for computer components includes a first shell having a first cavity therein. A second shell is pivotally connected to the first shell for pivoting between a closed position, where the second shell is against the first shell to enclose at least a first portion of the first cavity, and an open position where the second shell extends generally perpendicular to the closed position. There is a frame having a stand and being extensibly mounted on the first shell for extension between a retracted position for transport, where the stand is adjacent to the first shell, and an extended position for workstation use, where the first shell is spaced-apart above the stand when the stand is positioned on a flat, horizontal surface.

Abstract: A combination pillow and tote bag for holding a pillow and other items for easy carrying and transportation. The combination pillow and tote bag includes a tote portion. The tote portion comprises a back panel and a front panel. The front and back panels each have a top edge, a bottom edge and a pair of side edges. The bottom edge of the front panel is securely attached to the bottom edge of the back panel. Each of a pair of side panels is securely attached to one of side edges of each of the front and back panels such that a bag is defined. A carrying means for carrying the tote portion comprises a strap having a pair of ends each securely attached to the tote portion. A pillow portion may be removably inserted in the tote portion.

Abstract: A mobile display case for housing and supporting a display. The display case includes a stand mounted to the interior of the case for a flat panel video or other display. The display stand can be raised to a deployed position or lowered to a stowed position within the case.

Abstract: A container made of a flexible, durable and pliable material is disclosed. The container can hold bulky and odd shaped packages. In a preferred embodiment it is roughly cubic in shape and can be folded up into a compact unit when not in use for storage or transportation and deployed when needed. A variation of the container has pockets to receive rigid sheets to form the container into an upright case with reinforced sides. These sheets can be removed and the whole unit packed into a compact unit for storage and transport. The handles are placed on the container to reinforce it and facilitate movement of the container. Additionally, a strap based carrying device is disclosed to facilitate the carrying of boxes.

Abstract: A bag provides an exterior fabric wall enclosing an interior space for carrying goods. The exterior wall provides an aperture for receiving the goods to the bag's interior and also a first attachment element. A cushion comprises a second attachment element, with the first and second attachment elements removably joining the cushion to the exterior wall of the bag so that the bag and the cushion may be jointly carried and the cushion may be fully removed from the bag for use alone.

Abstract: A bag includes a back wall having a hook accommodating the hanging of the bag when opened, a plurality of compartments on a front surface of the back wall, the plurality of compartments having a front portion being of a mesh material accommodating a view of the objects and a circulation of air within the compartments. The compartments can have shelves projecting from the back wall to accommodate the objects. The wall can be folded or rolled to close the back wall into the bag for carrying by the handles through hands or on a back of a user. A locking bar on a zipper enclosing the bag can be used to secure the bag to a locker.

Abstract: A rucksack is provided on its rear surface with a flap (5) which serves as a cover attached at its lower edge to the rucksack body (2). A waterproof skirt (20) is attached to the inside of the flap. When not in use the skirt is housed within the flap which is kept closed. In the event of rain the flap and the skirt can be deployed over the main body of the rucksack thus protecting the contents of the rucksack from the rain.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-purpose traveling luggage which comprises a case body with an associated cover at front and a backboard in the back. When the luggage is positioned in an erect position, the outer comers at the bottom of the associated cover has two caster wheels and the lower portion of the backboard is connected to a pair of leg supports. The lower portions of the leg supports comprise a pair of leg wheels, and the upper portions of the leg supports are connected to the outer edges at the midportion of the backboard. There is a pair of drive rod members having their lower portions connected to the lower outer edges of the backboard and their upper portions connected to each other by a connecting rod member. The drive rod members are connected to the leg supports through the engagement of elongated scissor grooves on the leg supports and scissor pins on the drive rod members.

Abstract: The mat for transport of clothing articles and for use in changing into and out of clothing articles in association with water sport activities has top and bottom surfaces which are water and soil resistant. The mat may include one, two or three layers of resistant material to allow enclosure of clothing articles, wet or dry, when folded and secured. Carry handles are provided for ease of transport. The securing means allows egress of moisture in the case of wet clothing articles.

Abstract: A handy tote bag for carrying baby items needed to diaper an infant at a remote location. The tote bag has an inner liner that contains a number of pockets for receiving a plurality of items needed to diaper the infant. The pockets are situated about a relatively large central portion that contains a resting space for safely and sanitarily depositing a moist baby, who remains in sight of the care-giver, while the care-giver extracts from the pockets the needed materials and items for diapering the baby and actually changes the baby's diaper.
