Including Axle For Ball Or Roller Patents (Class 192/45.007)
  • Patent number: 10941820
Abstract: A one-way roller clutch, in particular for an adjuster of a disc brake, includes an inner body having an outer lateral surface, an outer ring, which covers the outer lateral surface of the inner body by way of an inner lateral surface in such a way that a clamping gap is formed, and a roller cage. The roller cage is arranged in the clamping gap. Spring-loaded clamping rollers are held in a rollable manner and are supported on respective ramp surfaces. The roller cage is retained on the inner body for conjoint rotation.

  • Patent number: 9897151
Abstract: A one-way clutch includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rollers, an annular cage in which pockets are formed at intervals in a circumferential direction so that the rollers are held in the pockets, and springs attached to cage bars of the cage to bias the rollers. The cage has protruding portions fitted in the inner ring so that the cage is not allowed to rotate with respect to the inner ring. The inner ring has recessed portions each including a cam surface that allows a corresponding one of the engagement elements to be engaged between the cam surface and an inner peripheral surface of the outer ring. Each of the recessed portions further has a fitting surface that is formed as a surface continuous with the cam surface in the recessed portion and on which a corresponding one of the protruding portions is closely fitted.

  • Patent number: 9726235
Abstract: The present invention relates to a freewheel (4) having an inner ring (38), an outer ring (40) and at least one wedging element (48) between the inner ring (38) and the outer ring (40), which can be moved from a wedging position, in which the wedging element (48) prevents rotation of the outer ring (40) relative to the inner ring (38) in a first circumferential direction (24), into a release position, in which the outer ring (40) can be rotated in an opposite, second circumferential direction (26) relative to the inner ring (38), wherein the wedging element (48) is preloaded into the wedging position by means of a spring element (64). The spring element (64) has an elongate spring body (66), which extends in a radial plane and has a corrugated profile in the radial direction (20, 22). The present invention furthermore relates to a freewheel arrangement (2) having a freewheel (4) of this kind.

  • Patent number: 9222528
Abstract: In at least one illustrative embodiment, a clutch may comprise an outer race, an inner race, and an engagement assembly disposed in a space located radially between the outer and inner races. The engagement assembly may comprise a plurality of locking members and a biasing shoe frictionally engaged with one of the outer race and the inner race. The locking members may be configured to move with the biasing shoe within the space between an unlocked position, in which the locking members are free to move relative to the outer race and to the inner race, and a locked position, in which the locking members are wedged between the outer and inner races to couple the outer and inner races for rotation together.
