Abstract: A method is provided that includes identifying, by a power transferring unit, a power receiving unit in a proximity of the power transferring unit. The method further includes determining whether the power receiving unit is in a near field range or in a far range of the power transferring unit, receiving a power status from the power receiving unit and generating, in the power transferring unit and based on the power status information, a directed energy signal from a power transferring unit to the power receiving unit when the power receiving unit is within a far range of the power transmitting unit. The method includes generating, in the power transferring unit and based on the power status, an inductively coupled field that is resonant with the power receiving unit, when the power receiving unit is within at least a near field range of the power transferring unit.

Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment, an image forming apparatus comprises a cassette for paper feed configured to contain a tray capable of stacking papers stored in a packaging member of which one end portion is opened, together with the packaging member; a paper feed section configured to contain a pickup roller which picks up the papers stored in the packaging member from the opened end portion of the packaging member; a regulating member configured to regulate that the packaging member is conveyed from the tray of the cassette; and a protrusion configured to be formed and protrude from the regulating member to cover the opened end portion of the packaging member.

Abstract: A container knockdown assembly capable of opening into an erected container assembly. The knockdown includes an unopened outer sleeve having first and second outer side panels opposing and substantially parallel to one another when in the knockdown form, and an unopened inner sleeve having first and second inner side panels opposing and substantially parallel to one another when in the knockdown form. The inner sleeve is secured within the outer sleeve in a positional relationship of the assembled container. A cutout is formed in a section of one of the outer corners of the outer sleeve to expose at least a portion of a corner of the inner corner. A container formed from such a knockdown is also provided.

Abstract: A system for externally binding flat media by hand for presentation purposes without a need for creating a spine, hole-punching paper, permanent covers or insertion into pre-constructed sleeves. It employs a slim, external bar, placed in the margin area on the front side of a flat media stack and a rigid backing board on the rear side. The entire assembly is held together firmly by threaded bolts and adjoining screw posts that are adjusted depending upon the quantity of sheets included and their thicknesses. The stack is compressed and decompressed by tightening or loosening the threaded bolts whenever sheets are added or removed. The low-profile system firmly grips sheets with unlikely slippage, requires no heat or adhesives, and provides the ease of turning the pages or sheets as typical in a perfect-bound book. It accommodates common lengths of paper stock and fabric swatches, and multiple thicknesses within the same stack.

Abstract: A container knockdown assembly capable of opening into an erected container assembly. The knockdown includes an unopened outer sleeve having first and second outer side panels opposing and substantially parallel to one another when in the knockdown form, and an unopened inner sleeve having first and second inner side panels opposing and substantially parallel to one another when in the knockdown form. The inner sleeve is secured within the outer sleeve in a positional relationship of the assembled container. A cutout is formed in a section of one of the outer corners of the outer sleeve to expose at least a portion of a corner of the inner corner. A container formed from such a knockdown is also provided.

Abstract: A foldable organizer for restaurant waiters includes a folding case which may hold a notepad, an elongated compartment for storing paper money and receipts, a leaf having pockets for holding cards in the elongated compartment, and an exterior pocket for holding a card. The exterior pocket may be produced from a v-shaped opening integrally formed in a flexible shell that surrounds a backing. A separate insert is capable of being attached to one end of the folding case, and remains between the two halves of the folding case when in the closed position. The insert including a plurality of pages for holding cards, wherein each of the plurality of pages is joined at one end to create an accordion structure. A strap or clip for fastening the insert to the folding case is located adjacent the end opposite the one end where the plurality of pages are joined.

Abstract: A transportable arrangement that includes a plurality of stuffing envelopes adjoining each other in planar manner and a packaging therefor. A cover body made of cardboard-like material surrounds the plurality of stuffing envelopes. The cover body surrounds the plurality of stuffing envelopes on the bottoms thereof, the tops thereof and both end sides completely or partially. The narrow sides are left open. The cover body comprises two rectangular panes, designed relatively stronger than the other components of the cover body and resting on the end sides. The cover body comprises a tear tab that is arranged on one of the end sides of the plurality of stuffing envelopes. This allows the cover body to be torn open and the cover body to be pulled off the plurality of stuffing envelopes.

Abstract: A carton has hand holes in opposite walls and a spacer panel inserted between stacked articles in the carton. The spacer panel has cut outs in its opposite ends positioned behind the hand holes to provide space for inserting the fingers. The hand holes and spacer panel facilitate lifting, carrying and manipulating the carton. The spacer panel has width and length dimensions to fit within the interior width and length dimensions of the carton and reinforces the carton to reduce damage when the carton is dropped.

Abstract: Described herein is a package assembly for stacks of imaging material. The packaging assembly comprises a master carton that retains stacks of imaging material and a separation access band. The separation access band separates the stacks from one another within the master carton.

Abstract: A packaging container is disclosed that includes a lid, a transparent material mounted on top of the lid that encloses an interior space, an article of artwork positioned inside the interior space and a transparent medium that fills substantially all or all of the remaining interior space, and a base below the lid with a storage cavity. In addition, a method for packaging a gift is disclosed that includes placing the gift in a storage cavity of a packaging container that includes a lid, a transparent material mounted on top of the lid that encloses an interior space configured to house at least one article of artwork and a base below the lid with a storage cavity, positioning at least one article of artwork inside the interior space and filling substantially all or all of the remaining interior space with a transparent medium.

Abstract: The envelope holder generally consists of a main body forming a pocket to accept and store the envelopes. The main body has a front on which a size indicator is affixed. A ledge is approximately perpendicular to the front of the main body such that when a card sits on the ledge the size indicator will alert the user whether or not the envelope is the correct size. A back attachment is attached to the main body such that the envelope holder can attach to the card rack.

Abstract: A postcard storage sheet for storing post cards comprising: a grouping of sleeves centered on the storage sheet; a slit opening for each sleeve where each slit opening provides a means to insert a postcard into the sleeve; a border surrounding the grouping of sleeves; and a plurality of holes along one border. Each sleeve may be made of a transparent material to allow visibility of the postcard. The grouping of sleeves includes at least three sleeves. The plurality of holes may include three holes along a side border of the sheet.

The cover links are formed with link yokes, which have a respective opening for the cradle pieces, and with an upper and lower link web which connect the link yokes. An opening is formed in the region between the upper and lower link webs, which has, in plan view, a substantially trapezoidal shape with sides of substantially equal lengths and an upper side and lower side of different lengths. The upper side is assigned to the upper link web and the lower side to the lower link web.

The package structure includes four sides and four back flanges to hold the greeting cards in place. One embodiment of the disclosure is capable of holding one set of identical greeting cards. The package is wrapped in cellophane to preserve both the front and inside views of the greeting card.

Methods of making and using are disclosed.

Abstract: A note sheet is provided that includes a body portion and a tab portion integral with the body portion and extending from an end thereof. At a location where the tab portion and the body portion meet one another, at least one arced shoulder is formed therebetween. The note sheet is formed from a multilayer construction including a base layer extending substantially the entirety of the body and the tab portions. The base layer having a first surface and a second surface. The note sheet includes a first layer of adhesive on the second surface of the base layer that is located on the body portion of the note sheet, but not the tab portion.

Abstract: The present invention provides a self-adhesive notepaper holder, which combines at least a notepaper of different patterns, one is rolling notepaper and the other is draw-off notepaper; the holder is composed of symmetrical left and right casings with a hollow egg shape, wherein butt-jointed sleeves are set for fixation of the rolling notepaper, and butt-jointed slots are also arranged for embedding of the draw-off notepaper; moreover, two parallel supporting bars are arranged on the circumference of the holder for stable standing; a rectangular opening is used for output of rolling notepaper, with one side connected with a curved arc and several sawtooth structures, allowing easy draw off and tear off of the rolling notepaper; and a long notch is used for drawing off single piece of notepaper; this design is suitable for the office work with its diversified functions such as: recording, messaging and labeling.

Abstract: A polyester pocket with a clear front and back is provided. A spun-bonded polyester strip is positioned near the open end of the polyester pocket to prevent atmospheric contaminants from entering the polyester pocket. The spun-bonded polyester strip also allows the polyester pocket to lay flat when multiple polyester pockets are stacked upon one another. The thickness of the spun-bonded polyester can be made to roughly correspond to the thickness of documents inserted into the polyester pocket.

Abstract: Greeting card package constructs and containers for the retail packaging and sale of sets of greeting cards with envelopes, including a frame box structure configured to hold a plurality or set of greeting cards and having openings in front and back panels to make at least two or more pages of a greeting card in the package visible, and substantially reducing total material requirements for the package. A second portion of the label is adapted to be repeatedly removably adhered to a portion of the flexible packaging material adjacent the flap such that the flap can be opened and reclosed. The packaging article may be a ream wrapper.

Abstract: An envelope package including a plurality of generally aligned envelopes, the plurality of envelopes being compressed together. The package further includes a generally non-elastic band extending around the plurality of compressed envelopes and retaining the envelopes in a state of compression. The plurality of envelopes exert an expansion force of at least about ½ pound such that the plurality of envelopes are sufficiently compressed to generally seal ambient air out of the plurality of envelopes to thereby reduce absorption of moisture and warpage thereof.

Abstract: A new and improved packaging structure comprises a base member and a pair of oppositely disposed upstanding side wall portions, wherein at least one of the interior corner regions, defined at the intersection between one of the side wall portions and the base member, is scored so as to permit the side wall portion to be pivotally moved between a first position perpendicular to the base member, and a second position coplanar with the base member. In this manner, articles can be inserted in a sideways direction into the packaging structure. In addition, the articles will be properly aligned and spaced from the side wall portion when the side wall portion is returned to its perpendicular position so as to accommodate a dependent side wall portion of a second packaging structure so as to form a composite packaging assembly.

Each envelope is generally flat and planar in the absence of outside forces, and the band retains the plurality of envelopes in a limited state of compression such that none of the banded envelopes are pulled out of plane by more than about 1/40 of the length of that envelope to reduce warpage thereof.

Abstract: A card-holding case has a case body provided with a card dispenser. The case body has a cavity to receive cards, and a dispensing hole. The cavity is closed by a cover having an aperture and a slide rail unit. The card dispenser includes a slide disposed over the aperture and mounted slidably to the slide rail unit, and a pusher arm connected to the slide and extending into the cavity through the aperture. The pusher arm has a push end to contact the cards. The slide is slidable relative to the cover to move the push end toward the dispensing hole so that the push end pushes one of the cards outward from the dispensing hole. The card-holding case may be hung on the user's body when a hanging string is attached to the case body.

Abstract: A container for shipping and/or storing a stack of paper is disclosed. The container, according to a disclosed embodiment, comprises a bottom wall and first and second upright, opposing side walls extending from respective edges of the bottom wall. First and second shell portions are connected in a pivotal manner to respective edges of the bottom wall. The shell portions are pivotable toward and away from each to close and open the container, respectively. When the container is closed, the stack is securely contained between the shell portions and the side walls for shipping or storing. When the container is opened, at least two opposing sides of the stack are exposed to facilitate removal of paper from the container. A handle for carrying or lifting the container may be coupled to one of the shell portions.

A port is provided in the flap to access the underside of the clock chip, and can be covered, along the underside of the flap, with a piece of elastic material. By moving the elastic material aside, access to the battery of the clock chip is provided.
