Abstract: A dispensing closure and label system provides a clear indication of prior opening directly at the point of application of force to open the closure. The dispensing closure includes a closure body, a living hinge and a lid. The lid includes a downwardly depending sidewall that has a thumb tab that extends down beyond the parting line of the lid and the closure body. A label wraps around the skirt and container neck. The label overlaps that portion of the thumb tab that extends below the parting line of the lid and body. When the thumb tub is lifted to open the container, the paper label is ripped in the area of the thumb tab to evidence opening.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming objects, in particular containers, and for applying respective labels thereto, includes a forming arrangement provided with a punch cooperating with a cavity of a die to make the objects by forming a sheet of thermoformable material. The cavity includes a first wall element and second walls. The first wall element is movable between a first operating position in which it receives a label and a second operating position in which it bounds the cavity in cooperation with the second walls, and supports the label in such a manner that during a subsequent forming operation the label is fixed to, in particular substantially incorporated in, the object.

Abstract: An improved container provides a container body and a closure. In some embodiments, a scooping utensil retainer is disposed on the closure. The scooping utensil retainer includes opposing flanges protruding from the closure surface. A flange rib protrudes from the first flange into the flange gap, extending from the closure surface to the distal end of the flange. A tapered retainer gap is provided between flanges for resiliently clamping the handle of a scooping utensil. In some embodiments, the closure can include an annular ridge shaped for engaging a downwardly extending skirt on a like container when two like containers are vertically stacked. In some embodiments the container body includes an in-mold label affixed to a substantially straight side wall, the in-mold label covering at least about 95% of the exterior surface area of the container body.

Abstract: Novel crystalline form of perphenazine 4-aminobutyrate trimesylate and a process of producing the same are disclosed. The novel crystalline form is characterized by a unique XRPD pattern and a DSC that exhibits an endothermic peak at a relatively high temperature (e.g., higher than 209° C.). Also disclosed are a process of preparing perphenazine 4-aminobutyrate trimesylate by in situ deprotection and salification, in a single-step synthesis, and a highly pure perphenazine 4-aminobutyrate trimesylate obtained thereby. Uses of any of the described perphenazine 4-aminobutyrate trimesylate are also disclosed.

The sleeve contains a replacement graphic in place of the warning graphic. The replacement graphic could include user self expression or advertising. The use of advertising opens a new outlet for advertisers' messages.

The packaging includes a cover and a body with compartments each configured to hold at least one of the dosage units. The compartments have a circular arrangement on the body. The packaging further includes a cover with a plurality of strips attached to the body for confining the dosage units in the compartments. Each of the strips is positioned relative to a respective one of the compartments and configured to be individually manipulated for releasing the dosage unit from the respective one of the compartments. The method includes manipulating one of the strips to unblock an opening to one of the compartments and removing the dosage unit from the compartment through the unblocked opening.

Abstract: A pouch for holding fluids is provided. The pouch includes a pouch body having a front panel and a back panel. The front panel is formed of a transparent material and includes a second indicia visible from the front of the pouch. The back panel includes a third indicia visible from the back of the pouch. The back panel includes a first indicia disposed one of the layers of the back panel and configured to be visible when the pouch is viewed from the front so as to block out the third indicia from view. A method of manufacturing a pouch is also provided. The method is directed towards facilitating the alignment of a graphical image on one side of the back panel with a graphical image on another side of the back panels in instances where the back panel is formed of multiple layers.

One aspect of the invention is directed to systems and containers for efficiently organizing tools for specific work tasks, such as gunsmith tools, etc. In one embodiment, a container for carrying and organizing tools includes a housing having a base portion and a lid portion. The lid portion can be pivotally attached to the base portion. The container can also include a plurality of recesses disposed in an internal portion of the container in a recess pattern. The recesses can be configured to releasably retain the tools in the housing. The container also includes an insertable tool position guide having a plurality of images in an image pattern, wherein the image pattern can correspond to the recess pattern. In addition to tool positional information, the tool position guide can also communicate tool identification information.

The release position allows the cells to be progressively exposed beyond the sleeve to allow medication to be removed. Both the slidable core and the sleeve are preferably made of a plastic material.
