Abstract: The present invention relates to a beverage tap plug for occupying and disinfecting, cleaning, or sanitizing a faucet opening of a beverage tap. The beverage tap plug comprises a support member supporting a resilient absorbent member. The absorbent member comprises a generally cylindrical column of absorbent material. The support member of the beverage tap plug comprises a relatively flat, disk-shaped base supporting a thin post in which the post defines a longitudinal axis with a first base end and second distal end. The post protrudes outwardly from the center of the base at the base end. Additionally, the outside diameter of the absorbent member is larger than the diameter of the diameter of the outer rim of the faucet opening. The absorbent member of the beverage tap plug is impregnated with a disinfectant, sanitizer or cleaner.

Abstract: A shipping plug is disclosed herein. The shipping plug is formed from a cylindrical member that is configured to be operatively disposed within a bore of a component to create a seal therewith. The cylindrical member is a resilient material, and has an upper wall, a lower wall, and a circumferential side defined between the upper and lower walls. A recess is defined in the upper wall. The recess includes a bottom end and at least one wall extending between the bottom end and the upper wall. The recess is configured to operatively receive a complementarily shaped rod which selectively distorts the circumferential side of the cylindrical member in response to a twisting or rotating action exerted thereon to temporarily release the seal.

Abstract: The invention presented describes a closure which can be made of various silicones or polymers with uses and sealing capabilities better than others currently on the market for reasons that follow. This invention can be used in any circumstance in which a cork might be used. The present invention is a stopper for wine, soda and most other disposable bottles used by a home consumer. The present invention is a bottle stopper produced by a thermal molding method using silicones or materials with similar characteristics. A varying taper and descending rib system allows the stopper to tightly seal and yet be easily removed.

Abstract: The stopper (1) has a tubular skirt (12) for fastening it around the container neck, an end wall (10) perpendicular to the central axis (X-X) of the skirt, and an annular sealing lip (16) extending into the skirt from the inner face (10A) of the end wall. A protrusion (22) connects the inner face of the end wall to the inner face (16B) of a peripheral portion of the lip in order to transmit a movement of the end wall to the lip in the event of excess pressure in the container. In order to release this excess pressure reliably and in a manner which is easy to carry out, the protrusion occupies all the space delimited jointly by the inner face of the end wall, by the inner face of said lip portion and by a geometric plane (P) which passes through said lip portion and intersects the inner face of the end wall along a straight line (L) orthoradial to the axis of the skirt.
