The carrier has two loops 1, 2 joined together by a connecting device with an optional sash. The method of carrying the child or animal involves wearing the loops 1, 2 and placing the child or animal in the loops 1, 2 in a variety of positions. In certain positions the child is carried vertically on the front of the user's torso and either faces the same direction as the user or faces inward toward the user's torso; or the child is carried vertically on the user's back facing toward the user's back. In other positions, a child or animal can be fully or partially cradled in the loops 1, 2. In another position, the child or animal is slung in the loops 1, 2 and carried against the user's hip or at the front of the user's torso. The connecting device allows the user to adjust the position of the loops 1, 2 for comfort and back support.

Abstract: The present invention is a device to be used during an emergency egress situation to enable a user to safely and effectively carry a child or pet during the emergency egress while at the same time allowing the user the full use of his or her arms during the egress. The device includes a pouch that is secured to the user's chest by means of straps that pass from the pouch over the user's shoulders, around the user's back and which are then secured to the pouch. The straps are easily adjustable to allow the invention to be put on the user and then rapidly secured to the user. The pouch is dimensioned to receive and securely hold a child or pet. Abstract: An adjustable baby blanket snuggly covers a baby in a front-worn baby carrier. The baby blanket includes a pouch, a back, a left arm extension, a right arm extension, and a hood. In use, the pouch is slipped up around the baby's legs such that the bottom portion of the baby extends into the pouch. The left arm extension is wrapped around the baby carrier such that the left arm extension passes to the right between the left and right shoulder straps of the baby carrier and the wearer. The right arm extension is wrapped around the baby carrier such that the right arm extension passes to the left between the two shoulder straps of the baby carrier and the wearer. The ends of the left and right arm extensions are then tied together at a location on the opposite side of the baby carrier with respect to the wearer.

The pieces of fabric are sewn together to provide a seam. Abstract: An improved child carrier capable of carrying both infants and larger toddlers. The device features a removable infant seat insert to accommodate the seating requirements of smaller infants in the larger seat panel. The infant seat insert may either be removably attached to the device or in an alternate embodiment is deployable from a pocket formed in the body support panel. The carrier also features a strapping arrangement that allows lateral translation of the shoulder straps to aid in comfort during use and an arrangement at the waist band to keep the seat of the device generally upright when the wearer bends forward.
