Abstract: A casing for a portable electronic device, such as an MP3 player, a cell phone, a smart phone, or a PDA, is formed with two or more sleeves that may be placed onto the electronic device and together form a closed encasement for the electronic device. The encasement is formed to enable operative access to the electronic device while the sleeves are connected to form the closed encasement. A back panel of the encasement is removable so that it may be exchanged for an alternative panel. That is, a first back panel may simply be a planar panel that only forms an integral backwall part of the closed encasement and a second back panel may be provided with a belt clip or belt loop, or the like. The different removable back panels may thus be exchanged to provide the device for mutually different functions of the casing.

Abstract: The Hip-Sip is a wearable stemware holder designed to slip comfortably over the users clothing and provide a stable support for a variety of vessels. It is designed to hold the stemware slightly away from the body and allow the glass to gimbal in response to the users movements. The Hip-Sip is designed to slip over a belt or the top of pants. The bottom of the Hip-Sip is formed to cradle the bulb of stemware to allow the wearer to use two hands for any task at hand. The Hip-Sip is made from any suitable material such as plastic or metal and may be adorned with designs, logos or be of such quality to be functional artwork.

The keeper mainly comprises a housing formed by a shell (12) and a base (14), a spool assembly (16) controlled by a spiral spring (18) and a ratchet mechanism consisting of a ratchet plate (32) in the spool, a ratchet bead (20), and a straight slot (50) in the base, a clip (22), and a length of cord (24) with a bob (72) securing a strap loop (90). The shell has a cord port (28) and is rotatable independently from the spool so that the cord remainder is adjustable even after the cord is fully retracted by the spring. The strap loop ties a personal portable device directly through its strap holder or the like. The keeper is fully operable through the cord dragged by the portable device that is normally held and operated by one hand.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for holding an archery bow in a ready, near shooting position. A harness is worn around a hunter's chest. A sling also attaches to the hunter for holding a lower cam/pulley or lower limb of a compound archery bow. A bow string holder is carried by the harness. The bow string holder attaches to a string portion of the compound archery bow and allows the archery bow to hang therefrom to maintain tension on the bow string holder. The tension prevents the bow string holder from releasing the string until the tension is released upon the hunter's lifting of the archery bow from the sling for shooting an arrow.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for carrying a turkey. An embodiment may include an elongated body member that is attached to a clip that may engage a belt. Further, the body member may include a shoulder support as well as a plurality of turkey-leg-engagement loops suited to engage and support a pair of turkey legs. In this manner, the turkey carrier may provide the securing force with the engagement loops that were once provided by the person's clenched fists.

Abstract: A folding knife with a retractable clip is disclosed. The folding knife comprises at least two rigid plates housing at least one knife blade and the retractable clip. The retractable clip is slidably mounted between the two rigid plates and traverses a path between a retracted position and an extended position defined by a guide slot in a base portion of the clip. A guide pin intermediate the slot and between the plates limits the translational movement of the retractable clip such that its extension is optimal for affixing it onto clothing by means of an elongated member attached to the base portion, and its retraction within the housing space renders a smooth facing to the knife.

Abstract: An infant pacifier assembly including an infant pacifier and an attachment device that is attached to the pacifier. The attachment device has a clip that enables it to be readily affixed to the clothing of an infant so as to secure the pacifier and retain in a convenient location and prevent the pacifier from dropping to the floor. The attachment device has an outer surface for attaching an object thereto, such as a decorative button, preferable by a hook and loop securing system. The decorative button had a decorative design and there may be a plurality of buttons having different decorative designs that the caregiver can select and affix to the attachment device as desired.

The strap can be positioned on the buckle-hook in two different orthogonal positions to allow the strap to wrap an object or tool laterally or longitudinally. Abstract: A belt clip apparatus is provided that attaches to a case for a portable electronic device (e.g., a music player, video player, cell phone, etc.) that both swivels and pivots on two different axes. Such a clip can attach to an article of clothing and allow the user to view the screen and access the controls of an electronic device without having to first remove the device from the article of clothing. In one embodiment, the apparatus can stand on a flat surface in either an angled portrait or landscape orientation when attached to the case, thereby allowing the user to choose the optimal orientation for accessing the controls or viewing a screen on a portable device mounted within the attached case. When the tool is positioned in a user's pocket, a panel of the pocket engages the roller assembly, which rotates substantially freely, permitting the pocket panel to slide easily between the pocket clip and the surface of the tool. However, the roller assembly resists movement of the pocket panel in the opposite direction, holding the tool securely in the pocket.

The holder device lets a hunter or shooting enthusiast carry a rifle with its weight supported on either his right or left hip. Rifles are rather heavy weapons. Should the hunter or shooting enthusiast carry one in his hands or arms for an extended period of time, his muscles can get fatigued. This makes it more difficult to get off an accurate shot in a timely manner. However, the present holder device puts most of the rifle's weight on the hunter's hip, thereby freeing his hands and arms from having to carry the rifle until it's time to take a shoot. Further, the present holder device is adjustable for carrying rifles of many different sizes.

A plastic leaf spring has a fore end mounted to the main body, a curvaceous mid-section and an elongated leg member. The leg has a proximal pivot member and the distal leg region is disposed in a capture channel in the clip arm. A complementary pivot member in the clip arm coacts with the proximal pivot member such that when the main body pivots with respect to the clip arm, the elongated leg member bows. By using the above-mentioned clip system with the modular design, the clip system and change accessory are assembled and disassembled in an efficient way.

Abstract: A flexible tubular carrier is suitable for storing one or more items such as garments and configured to be carried using a strap, attachable to other carriers, wearable around one's neck or waist and usable as a lumbar or neck pillow. Additionally, the carrier is easy to load. The carrier features a flexible tubular body, opposite flexible end covers, and angled zipper closures adjoining the end covers to the tubular body. Items such as garments may be rolled and inserted and pulled into the tubular container. Straps and connectors are provided to wear the carrier over one's shoulder or around one's neck or waist and to attach the carrier to other carriers. When filled with relatively soft items, such as rolled-up garments, the carrier may be bent into a horseshoe shape, secured around one's neck and comfortably worn as a cushion and head support. Alternatively, the carrier may be worn around one's lower back to provide lumbar support and cushioning.

Abstract: A tool is disclosed herein for facilitating the opening and closing of mail bags, money bags, tool bags, and other large bags for carrying heavy loads utilizing large zippers. For instance, mail bags have a large zipper closure. Mail workers open and close these zippers dozens of times a day. Frequently, the zippers are hard to operate. Sometimes, the zipper handle may be missing. In both of these cases, a tool of some sort would facilitate the opening and closing of the bag. The present invention provides a zipper pull tool comprising a handle with a hook disposed at a selected optimal angle with a wedge shaped distal end and an eyelet or loop disposed at the other end. The handle is economically designed to provide good grip yet not require the user to squeeze the handle minimizing risk of injury to the wrist due to repetitive motions. The hook is disposed at such an angle as to provide optimum ease for hooking to the zipper or zipper handle.
