Abstract: A bulletproof vest includes a vest body, the vest body having a plurality of locating pads at front and back panels thereof and a plurality of fabric fastening strips respectively extended from the locating pads for securing things to the locating pads, a plurality of detachable ammunition pouches respectively fastened to the locating pads of the vest body by hook and loop materials, the detachable ammunition pouches each having a plurality of insertion slots for the insertion of the fabric fastening strips, a pistol holster detachably fastened to one locating pad at the front panel of the vest body by hook and loop materials to hold a pistol, and a radio transceiver holder detachably fastened to one locating pad at the back panel of the vest body by hook and loop materials to hold a radio transceiver.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a dual loop shoulder strap (10) for carrying a golf bag (14) having a first loop (30) and a second loop (34). The first loop (30) is attached to a first connection point (32) on the golf bag (14) whereby an individual (12) inserts one arm through the first loop (30) to support the golf bag (14) on one shoulder (26). A second loop (34) is attached to a second connection point (35) on the golf bag (14) longitudinally spaced from the first connection point (32) whereby the individual (12) inserts another arm through the second loop (34) to support the golf bag (14) on another shoulder (28). The present invention is envisioned for use with a conventional type golf bag (14) having a tubular receptacle and a single shoulder strap (70) with two longitudinally spaced connection points (32) (35) therein, typically the connection points for connecting each end of the single shoulder strap (70).

Abstract: A dual strap arrangement for golf bags includes a first shoulder strap (20) having an upper end (24) attached to a generally tubular body (11) of a golf bag (10) at a first location (26) proximate a top end (12) of the body (11) and a lower end (28) attached to the tubular body (11) at a second location (30) generally intermediate the body top end (12) and a bottom end (14) of the body (11). The first location (26) is on one side of a spinal axis (15) that extends longitudinally between the body top and bottom ends (12, 14), and the second location (30) is on the other side of the spinal axis (15) so that a straight line (27) extending between the first and second locations (26, 30) traverses the spinal axis (15). A second shoulder strap (22) has upper and lower ends (32, 34) attached to the body (11) at third and fourth locations (36, 38), respectively.

Abstract: A harness to enable the wearer to carry an article such as breathing apparatus comprises a waist belt (9) carrying a waist plate (1) to which a back plate (21) is secured. The harness includes shoulder straps (20) and a coupling (41,50) for securing the article to it. The back plate (21) is moveable with respect to the waist plate (1) to facilitate movement of the wearer's body.

Abstract: A carrier belt is connected to a golf bag having a bag body with a longitudinal axis and a closed end and an open end. The carrier strap includes a fixing strap having a predetermined length with a first end attached to the bag body near the open end and a second end attached to the bag body at an intermediate position between the open end and the closed end. The fixing strap is elongated, flexible and substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bag body. A pair of shoulder straps attached to the fixing strap provide a pair of loops which enable a user to position one shoulder of the user in one loop and the other shoulder of the user in the other loop. The shoulder straps are attached to the fixing strap so that the loops are oriented in a plane which is generally at a right angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bag body and adjustable along the predetermined length of the fixing strap to accommodate the physique of the user.

Abstract: An apparatus and system for carrying a weight-bearing object, such as a golf bag, has a hip belt member for supporting the weight-bearing object and reducing the load on the user's back and shoulders. An attachment member is coupled to the hip belt member for attaching the hip belt member to the weight-bearing object, and a belt fastener connects the hip belt member about the user's waist. Additional shoulder straps can be utilized to stabilize and reduce movement of the weight-bearing object about the user.

Abstract: A carrying bag, such as a backpack, a closable primary storage compartment and at least one closable secondary storage compartment on the backpack configured in the shape of a hat, preferably a baseball cap. The carrying bag can also include additional separate closable compartments in other configurations for storing items separate from the items stored in the primary compartment.

Abstract: A stroller bag fabricated from a lightweight, durable, easily cleaned material is described. The stroller bag includes a carrier having an upper end, a lower end, a front side, a back side, a first side and a second side. A flexible strap is attached adjacent the upper end of the carrier extending from the first side to the second side. The strap has a first end and a second end and includes means, adjacent the first and second ends, for removably attaching a portion of the strap back onto itself so as to form a pair of small loops. These loops are used to attach the carrier to the horizontal handle of a stroller. When the loops are unfastened from the stroller the strap may serve as a means for suspending the carrier from the neck or shoulder of a caregiver using the stroller bag. The stroller bag also includes a cinch belt, constructed of two portions of strapping material attached at the first side and second side of the carrier adjacent its upper end.

Abstract: A system of selectable carriers for receiving an interchangeable liner enclosing a plurality of articles for facilitating exchange of articles from one selected carrier to another. The system provides a plurality of carriers which each have at least an opening with a first connecting member having a first character and attached near the opening thereof. The carriers selectively engage a liner that has a closed bottom and an open end with a second connecting member having a second character attached to a perimeter edge thereof, for selective mating engagement of the liner with the first connecting member in the carrier, for joining the liner to the carrier. The liner receives a plurality of articles to be carried within the carrier, and transfer of which occurs substantially simultaneously by transferring the liner and the articles therein from one carrier to another selected one of the carriers.

A top handle is positioned on a top portion of the body. The bag includes a pair of discrete, separate shoulder straps and a pair of independently operable shoulder strap retraction systems. Each of the retraction systems includes at least one reel-type winding device operably connected to a respective strap for storing and selectively retracting and withdrawing a portion of the respective shoulder straps. Abstract: A pack for safely securing personal items below stadium seating at sporting events includes a flexible sack including one or more pockets that can be sealed by a closure flap. One of such pockets may be used to contain a seat cushion to be placed upon such stadium seating. A fastening system is provided for securing the flexible sack to the underside of the stadium seating. The fastening system may include hooked members secured by elastic straps to opposing ends of the pack. Alternatively, the fastening system may include straps secured to the sack and which extend around and above the stadium seat. The pack may include a handle, shoulder strap, or a pair of arm straps to aid in carrying the pack to or from a stadium.

Abstract: A carrier for doll-type toys is provided having a pocket like enclosure for carrying the doll-type toy in a partially displayed position. The enclosure includes a double wall section forming an envelope or bag, in which the doll-type toy is carried, and a single wall section, against which the doll-type toy is partially displayed. This single wall section extends beyond and above the double walled section. Carrying straps permit the enclosure to be carried on the back of a child, in back-pack fashion. The carrying straps are attached adjacent to the free end of the single wall section and at the side of the double wall section. A second and smaller pocket enclosure may be attached to the front face of the carrier.

Abstract: The present invention is a pack to be carried on a person's back and includes a packable compartment having an inwardly slanting back surface upon which accessories may be mounted so that at least a portion of the mounted accessory will be located proximate to the carrier's shoulder and within easy over-the-shoulder reach by the carrier. It also provides a means by which the rotational orientation of the accessory may be varied with respect to the compartment to further enhance the combination's ability to place mounted accessories proximate the carrier's shoulder and facilitate right and left handed users. In one embodiment, the accessory is a quiver used to carry arrows. Still further, the present invention may be variably configured to conform to different persons' body structure and posture.

The sheet has a generally rectangular body portion that has a top edge, a bottom edge, and ends, and an elongated tail portion divided into two sections. The disposable back pack also includes a second sheet of thin plastic material that is generally rectangular in shape. The body portion is folded over onto itself at its ends forming a longitudinal flap extending from the top edge to the bottom edge, and the tail sections are folded over the folded body portion so that the distal ends of the tail sections are aligned with the top edge of the body portion. The second sheet of plastics material is then placed adjacent to and aligned with the unfolded side of the body portion of the first sheet of plastics material.

A plurality of webbing structures are affixed about the first compartment producing webbing loops for securing articles to the exterior of the compartment. A closure mechanism, such as a zipper, partially detaches the top lid of the first compartment permitting unobstructed access to the interior. The first compartment further includes a plurality of shoulder, anchor and waist straps for securing the portfolio to the upper body of the wearer. A second storage compartment of a predetermined shape is provided for housing additional articles. A plurality of upper cord lengths, locks, sleeves and eyelets are affixed at points as to allow the second compartment to be expanded and compressed about a predetermined volume. A plurality of closure mechanisms, such as zippers, permit unobstructed access to the interior of the second compartment.

Abstract: An article of beach luggage in the form of a substantially rectangular envelope of open mesh material subdivided into two interior portions by means of a rigid structural interior divider. The left and right portions are accessible by parallel zippers which extend around three sides of the article. One interior side is open to receive beach towels, clothing and the like, while the other side is prepacked with a cooler which, along with other types of beverage carriers, may be permanently or removably mounted on the interior divider. Abstract: A compartmentized box (20) and a knapsack (10) incorporating same. The knapsack (10) has straps (16) allowing carrying of the compartmentized box (20) on a person's back. The compartmentized box (20) has columns (30) formed of a plurality of panels (23) for supporting a plurality of containers (32) and for allowing the containers (32) to be slid in and out of the compartmentized box (20). Edgewise adjacent ones of the panels (23) can be disconnected from each other and the panels rearranged to allow containers (32) of differing sizes to be slid into the compartmentized box (20) so that the knapsack (10) can be readily restocked with any desired arrangement of the containers (32).

A first container for holding goods is provided with a first cooperating engagement portion, and a base is provided with a second cooperating engagement portion; the first and second portions cooperate to provide meshing engagement to detachably connect the first container the base. A stop is included in at least one of the first or said second cooperating engagement portions to limit the downward travel of the first container relative to the base. Further containers can be added, where each of the further containers includes cooperating engagement portion for meshing engagement with a complementary cooperating engagement portion of the already mounted containers. Preferably, the first cooperative engagement portion is a T-shaped slot formed from a pair of complementary, mirror image L-shaped members, and the second cooperative engagement portion is a T-shaped bracket of size and shape complementary to the T-shaped slot.

Abstract: Disclosed is a lightweight backpack and its frame. The design of the frame accommodates use as a structure for shaping and supporting a recreational hiking or military infantry backpack while in a folded and compact arrangement, and additionally, accommodates use for shaping and supporting material for use as a sleeping cot able to support the body weight of a human while in and unfolded elongated arrangement. In either the folded or unfolded arrangement, the backpack may be easily removed or reattached to the frame. The cot material is also easily detachable for purposes of replacement of worn material and its arrangement in conjunction with the frame is also intended to serve in part as padding and back support for the wearer. Abstract: An apparatus for carrying folded hose, such as fire hose to locations where it is needed. The apparatus is constructed of lightweight, flexible material, such as webbed nylon and is capable of being worn on the back of a person, as a backpack. The apparatus has a U-shaped bottom support panel which supports the bottom and sides of at least one folded hose. The back of the folded hose is supported by a vertical support strap which lies against the back of the person wearing the apparatus. An upper horizontal strap and lower horizontal strap extend from the vertical back support strap around the folded hose to secure the folded hose to the apparatus. At least one anchor strap is attached to the bosom of the apparatus and the lower horizontal strap preventing the folded hose from slipping out of the bottom of the apparatus. The apparatus has two carrying or shoulder straps and a waist strap. The shoulder straps, waist strap and horizontal straps are adjustable.

Abstract: A device for attachment to a standard folding lawn chair for subsequent transportation on an individual's back. The device utilizes a padded sleeve which slips over the back of the chair, and within which are a pair of fasteners which are secured to the seatback upper-crossmember. A pair of shoulder straps, integral with the fasteners, extend from the padded sleeve and, after passing over the individual's shoulders, are attached to the chair central-crossmember. The seat is held in the folded position by means of a cord extending from the sleeve which is tied around the seat front-crossmember.

Abstract: An article carrier for wearing by a user and modifiable into a plurality of different configurations. This article carrier may be utilized as a fanny pack, a backpack carrier, and/or a carrier for skis and the like. Included in the article carrier is a shoulder harness detachably secured to the fanny pack. This harness may be utilized in conjunction with, or independent from, the fanny pack. When the harness is attached to the fanny pack, it may be entirely stored within the compartment or it may be draped over the user's shoulders. The front surface of the shoulder harness includes a pair of straps, each being adjustably mounted thereto. These straps can be utilized to secure such items as skis, or they can be utilized to removably secure a backpack.
