Abstract: A safety device includes a garment shaped to be worn on a torso of a user. A flexible strap is attachable to the garment and extends from the garment on first and second sides. The strap has first and second ends. An elongated first fastener component is attached at or near the first end of the strap. An elongated second fastener component is attached at or near the second end of the strap. The first and second fastener components can be rotated to be aligned with, or oblique to, the strap. The first and second fastener components are capable of locking engagement with each other, and are shaped for being used individually as anchors while separated from each other.

Abstract: The present invention is an organizer device having a primary back strap 10, the primary back strap 10 having a first end, a second end and a middle portion. The first end having a first buckle portion 32 and a means for suspending the back strap 20, the second end having a second buckle portion 28, the middle portion having at least one attachment location with an appended buckle portion 38 interposed between the first and second ends; and wherein the second end is provided to receive the first end of a second primary back strap. The device further has at least one removable cinch strap device 40 having a first end and a second end, the first end having two buckle portions 38, 39, a first buckle portion 39 for removable attachment to the attachment location with an appended buckle 38 on the primary back strap 10 and a second buckle portion 39 to attach to the buckle portion at the second end of the cinch strap 40 to form a loop for holding a coil of cable 100, a power tool box or other material.

Abstract: An adjustable tarp strap assembly is described herein. The adjustable tarp strap assembly may include a buckle assembly a strap and a securing strap. The buckle assembly may include a first slot, a second slot, a tab and a catch. The tarp strap assembly may also include a hook secured to the buckle assembly. The strap may include a first end and a second end, wherein the first end may be intertwined within said slots. The securing strap may include a first aperture and a second aperture, wherein the first aperture may be engaged with the tab and the second aperture may be engaged with the catch. The securing strap may secure the strap within the buckle assembly. The strap may include a length that may be adjustable within the slots.

Abstract: A holding device for a breathing mask that is fastened to a protective helmet when in use includes a fastening hook connected to a flexible, length-adjustable tightening strap that is hooked into a receptacle on the protective helmet. Stop elements that are both frictionally engaged and in positive contact prevent the accidental release of the fastening hook together with the flexibility of the tightening strap that at the same time ensures an individually adjustable fit of the mask while sliding elements arranged at an offset to the stop elements ensure automatic optimum orientation of the tightening straps. The tightening strap and the fastening hook are coupled using a retainer piece molded to the tightening strap that is held in positive contact in the recess of a grip end connected with the fastening hook.

The guide section includes a length of substantially uniform width. The loop attaches to or forms part of the tie. The guide hook retains the loop. The loop and the tie are in tension. In one embodiment; the tensile structure may be assembled by fixing the guide hook to the base support, temporarily locating the loop in an application tool recess of an application tool, temporarily locating the application tool over the guide section, and applying a force to the application tool, which moves the loop along the guide section imparting tension into said loop and the tie, until the loop moves to the end of the hook section and snaps into the hook section, retaining the loop and the tie in tension.

Abstract: A fast looping-up and releasing rope loop assembly includes two one-way locking devices, at least one band, and a buckle. The one-way locking device includes a body constituted by a base and a cover. The one-way locking device allows the pull rope to extend therethrough and to move with respect thereto along a single direction. By inserting the pull rope through a rope entry opening of the base of the one-way locking device and further extending the rope around a rotary disk and a rotary wheel arranged inside the locking device and extending out of the locking device, the one-way locking device that locks the movement of the rope in an opposite direction is completed. When the rope is jammed due to excessive tightening, a presser of the buckle is depressed to release the one-way locking device from the jamming condition so that efficient loop-up and release can be realized.

The attachment device is preferably flexible in at least two independent planes. Each female attachment portion has a receptacle portion and a base portion. Each base portion is connected to the connecting portion. Each base portion has a lateral dimension greater than a lateral dimension of the receptacle portion. At least a portion of the connecting portion is disposed in an exoplanar relationship with respect to a pair of female attachment portions that have substantially coplanar base portions. Preferably, the connecting portion extends below the bottom surfaces of the adjacent base portions.

Abstract: Shoulder strap retention devices that are used to secure the shoulder straps of an article in position relative to a separate chest panel or protector so that they do not slip off the chest panel or the shoulders of a user carrying the article are disclosed. In one embodiment, the shoulder strap retention devices include a retention strap and anchoring strips that are secured to the retention strap and used to attach the shoulder strap retention device to an article having shoulder straps.

Abstract: An anti-entanglement apparatus that is intended to prevent bed sheet entanglement during machine tumble drying, is provided and includes a hub with at least four radially extended arms attached. The distal end of each arm is permanently attached to a readily releasable holding device. To utilize the apparatus the operable portion of a said holding device is attached to a bed sheet at, or near, the center of one edge. The remaining edges of a said bed sheet are connected to the hub using the same method. The apparatus thereby holds the center of the four bed sheet edges in close proximity to one another during a tumble drying cycle. This arrangement prevents a bed sheet from enveloping other laundry during the drying cycle. No tangles equate to a shorter drying time and reduced power requirements. The end user saves money while producing a smaller carbon foot print.

Abstract: A pipe and support system is provided including a pipe that extends adjacent a wood member. A metal pipe hanger is configured into a loop and includes opposite end portions that include spikes that project therefrom. The opposite end portions of the pipe hanger can be driven into the wood members so as to secure the opposite end portions of the pipe hanger to the wood member so as to form a loop. A pipe segment is projected through the loop such that the pipe segment is supported by the pipe hanger, which in turn is supported by the wood member.

Abstract: A litter strap that is easily adjustable to any length while simultaneously secure under tension includes an elongate strap extending between first and second parts of a two-piece buckle. The strap may be threaded through one of the buckle parts and manually slidable therethrough for adjusting a length of the litter strap assembly. A flexible pinch guard may be affixed to the strap so that the pinch guard substantially overlaps the first buckle part when the buckle parts are decoupled and may be wider than the strap and sized to substantially overlap the first and second buckle parts when the buckle parts are coupled. A keeper loop may encircle a middle portion of the strap and be slidable therealong and a pull tab may extend from the keeper loop to facilitate adjusting a position of the keeper loop along the middle portion.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided which can be adjustably configured to support and carry a variety of objects. The strap-pack system comprises a family of member elements, each having a variety of common fasteners attached thereto. A single member may be self-attached to form carrying apertures, or can be attached to other members for new configurations which can be further attached to outside objects. The basic members comprise a single layer strap connected to a multiple layered strap, each having a plurality of fasteners attached thereto. End fasteners include a releasable hook fastener at one end for attaching the system to outside objects, and hook and loop or snap-fit or side release buckles at the other ends. Interior fasteners are engaged to define holding apertures, while the space between layers is available for smaller articles. An elongated extension strap member is provided which can be used for belt, over-the shoulder holding, or for tethering movable objects.

In one embodiment, the bib holder includes a strap and at least one fastener that is useful for retaining the bib, in addition to at least one compartment that is capable of storing an item of suitable size and weight. The compartment can be attached to the strap, or be a part of the fastener. In various embodiments, at least a portion of the surface of the compartment is reflective. Abstract: A non-removable snap fastener used to attach a pacifier, teething ring, toy or other article to any garment of children's clothing. It is comprised of a non-removable female part of a snap fastener, which is attached to any garment of children's clothing, and preferably, though not necessary for effectiveness, incorporated into a decoration of flowers, animals, toys or any other attractive decoration for any garment of children's clothing, created using embroidery, appliqué, needlepoint or other craft. The corresponding male part of the snap fastener is attached to one end of a strap, having both female and male parts of a snap fastener attached to the other end of the strap, which is used to secure the article onto the strap for the child's use.

Abstract: A sling for carrying an elongate item such as a shoulder weapon having a buttstock and a forward end. In one embodiment, a bight of relatively small strap material is held in a sling swivel by a stopper mounted on the bight so that it can be passed through the sling swivel when the bight is slack, but which seats against the sling swivel when the bight is tight, keeping the bight engaged with the sling swivel. In another embodiment, a stopper keeps a bight of a stock-encircling strap engaged with a sling swivel, preventing the sling swivel from marring the stock.

Abstract: What is disclosed is a cable management system having a flexible main strap with an upper portion adapted to be secured to a first supporting surface in an electronic device, a middle portion with a plurality of mini straps attached thereon, and a lower portion adapted to be secured to a second supporting surface in the electronic device. The mini straps are capable of forming loops around a cable or cable assembly to restrict movement of the cable or cable assembly. Also disclosed is a method for managing cables in an electronic device. The method contains the steps of: attaching an upper portion of a main strap having a plurality of mini straps attached thereon to a first surface on the electronic device; organizing cables in the electronic device using the mini straps attached to the main strap; and attaching a lower portion of the main strap to a second surface on the electronic device.

Abstract: A universal carry strap includes a woven strip, an adjustment buckle and a shuttle buckle. The strip has two opposite ends onto which the adjustment and the shuttle buckles are integrally formed by molding plastic. The adjustment buckle has multiple adjusting through holes. The shuttle buckle passes selectively through the adjusting through holes. Consequently, the carry strap will provide a robust connection and be easy, quick and convenient to be connected to an object, such as a case having a first and a second connecting hook ring by passing the shuttle buckle through the first connecting hook ring, selectively through the adjusting through holes in the adjustment buckle and eventually through the second connecting hook ring to engage the second connecting hook ring.

The cloth tapes, on which the female and male snaps are formed and fastened, are not provided with holes for mounting the snaps.

Abstract: A latch system for attaching a child seat to an anchorage of a vehicle seat includes a first latch device connected to a first end of a length of webbing, an adjuster connected to a second end of the length of webbing, and a second latch device. The adjuster has a plate member extending from one end, and the plate member has a connection opening formed therein. The second latch device includes a main member having a hook formed at a first end and a connection aperture at a second end that is distal from the first end. A portion of the second end of the main member passes through the connection opening, and a portion of the plate member passes through the connection aperture.

Abstract: A clip is provided for use on a loose-leaf binder having a spine with front and back covers and a plurality of rings for holding paper in the binder. The clip includes a U-shaped member having a base and outer legs adapted to engage outer surfaces of the binder covers, and a pair of inner legs extending from the base and being spaced from the outer legs so as to be adapted to engage the inner surfaces of the binder covers. A strap has a first end connected to the base of the U-shaped member and a second end with a loop adapted to be attached to the top binder ring to prevent the clip from becoming lost when detached from the binder. The clip has a small profile, with a width of approximately ¼ inch.

Abstract: An eyeglass retainer is configured to retain an eyeglass in a desired position on the body of a user, such as the head or neck of the user. The retainer includes (i) a cord having a first end and a second end; (ii) a first connector coupled to the first end of the cord; and (iii) a second connector coupled to the second end of the cord. Each of the first and second connectors have: (i) a tubular wall defining a hollow chamber configured to receive an eyeglass earpiece therein; and (ii) an expandable opening extending through the tubular wall. The expandable opening may comprise: (i) a hole extending through the tubular wall; and (ii) a slit extending through the tubular wall. An eyeglass earpiece can be selectively mounted in each connector or a temple of the eyeglass can be mounted in each connector. Thus, the eyeglass retainer etains the eyeglass in one of a plurality of possible orientations on the body of the user.

Abstract: A system for stabilizing articles is provided. The system is particularly well-suited for stabilizing plastic grocery bags during transport in a vehicle. The system comprises a stabilizing element that, when in use, extends from a first point to a second point and passes through the handles of a bag to be stabilized. Preferably, the first and second points are fixed, either detachably or semi-permanently, on the sidewalls in the interior of a vehicle. Further, the stabilizing element preferably is flexible. In addition, the stabilizing element preferably can be disconnected from the second point and also preferably, the stabilizing element can recoil into a location at the first point so that only a portion of the stabilizing element is visible. Other preferred embodiments of the present invention, including those with intermediary fixtures or intermediary support features, as well as those with multiple stabilizing elements, also are disclosed.

Abstract: This invention relates to a trouser leg retaining device which is used for maintaining one's trouser legs in the proper position in relation to one's shoes. This invention includes an elongated elastic strap with a snap fastener device at one end and either a locking clip or an O-ring at the opposite end. The snap fastens onto one's trouser leg while the O-ring fastens onto one's shoe. The elastic strap has an adjuster positioned on it to adjust the length of the strap.
