Abstract: The harness includes a belt, a pair of thigh loops and first and second lateral attachment points. At least the first lateral attachment point includes a connector fixed to the belt. The connector is provided with a body defining: at least one pass-through opening inside which an attachment element to the belt passes, a connection ring distinct from the at least one pass-through opening, the connection ring being closed by means of a closing element fitted in removable manner. The closing element and the body define at least one through hole distinct from the at least one pass-through opening and from the connection ring. The closing element separate the connection ring and the at least one through hole.

Abstract: A divider (10) for a carabiner (12) in a fall arrest system (14), the carabiner (12) having a frame (32); and an openable gate (34) configured to be moved between an open position and a closed position, the divider (10) comprising a body (50) having: (i) a central body portion (52); and (ii) a plurality of connection portions (54) extending from the central body portion (52) and configured to attach the divider (10) to at least a portion of the frame (32) of the carabiner (10), wherein the plurality of connection portions (54) are spaced and divide the carabiner (12) into a plurality of areas (56) for connection of at least one component (18, 20) of the harness arrangement (16) and at least one fall arrest device (22).

Abstract: A rigging connector having combination hook and shackle mounting is provided. The rigging connector may include an elongate body having a central bridge portion and opposing first and second end portions extending from the central bridge portion, a securement member formed in the first end portion of the body and defining a throat opening with the central bridge portion, first and second anchor legs formed in the second end portion of the body, the first and second anchor legs defining a gap therebetween for receiving a portion of a support line, a shear pin operable to retain the support line at least partially within the gap, and a shackle mounting hole defined in the first end portion and having a center axis extending transverse to the shear pin.

Abstract: Provided is a hook which is capable of holding multiple objects or an object having a large size of width by efficiently using a space inside the hook, reliably preventing the hanged object from dropping, and allowing the hanged object to be taken out easily. A hook body has a latch that locks an arm biased toward an outside of the hook body by an arm biasing mechanism, and regulates a displacement of the arm, thereby closing an opening portion. While the latch is biased by a latch biasing mechanism so as to face the opening portion and be present at an arm regulating position for locking the arm, the latch is displaced from the arm regulating position against a biasing force of the latch biasing mechanism so as to unlock the arm.

Abstract: A connector that includes a carabiner and an insert is provided. The base of the insert has a length that extends between a first end and a second end and a width that extends between a first side edge and a second side edge. A barrel connector of the insert centrally extends from the first side edge of the base. The barrel connector receives a barrel of a gate of the carabiner. A first ear extends from the second side edge of the base proximate the first end of the base. The first ear includes a first carabiner retaining channel that selectively engages a first portion of the carabiner. A second ear extends from the second side edge of the base proximate the second end of the base. The second ear includes a second carabiner retaining channel that selectively engages a second portion of the carabiner.

Abstract: A carabiner comprising a body having an opening, a closure movably coupled to the body, the closure being movable to an open position, and to a closed position in which the opening is closed by the closure such that the body and the closure define a closed shape, and an actuator, coupled to the closure and operatively connected to the body, the actuator being configured to cause the closure to move to the closed position in response to loading of the carabiner, and to cause the closure to move from the closed position to the open position in response to unloading of the carabiner.

The snap ring includes a hook-like body having an opening on a portion thereof, a rotary shaft coupled on one side to a portion of the body such that the rotary shaft is rotatable around the opening, a hollow guide into which the rotary shaft is fitted and slides along, and a guide spring provided between the rotary shaft and the guide to elastically support the guide against the rotary shaft.

Abstract: A retainer comprising first and second frames each including at least one arm. The frames are movably coupled and operative to be selectively oriented between an open state and a closed state. The arms are cooperative to form a closed loop when the frames are in the closed state. The frames may include pairs of arms that cooperate to form a pair of closed loops. The arms extend from respective first and second body portions which include cooperative alignment features, such as mating tongue and groove features. The arms may also include alignment features, such as pins sized and configured to mate with receptacles. The retainer also includes a fastener for selectively permitting movement between the open and closed states.

Abstract: A clipping device (2) and method of use wherein the clipping device (2) comprises a hook (4) for attachment to a supporting bar or other device. The hook (4) has a shank end (6) and a curved end (8). A two-way gate (10) having an upper end (12) and a lower end (14) is pivotally coupled to the shank end (6) of the hook (4). The upper end (12) of the two-way gate (10) is adjacent to the curved end (8) of the hook (4) and forms an openable mouth (16). A method for using the clipping device (2) comprises attaching the clipping device (2) to a support by pressing the upper end (12) of the two-way gate (10) against the support causing movement of the two-way gate (10) inward providing passage (16) for the support into said hook (4). The clipping device (2) is detached from the support by pressing the upper end (12) of the two-way gate (10) against the support, causing movement of the two-way gate (10) outward, providing passage (16) for the support out of the hook (4).

Abstract: A carabiner designed for use with strap or webbing is disclosed. The carabiner includes a trimmed feature that is incorporated into a straight portion of the body where strap or webbing can be attached. The strap or webbing can be looped around the trimmed feature and sewn tight, thereby effecting a permanent and slip-free attachment.
