  • Patent number: 11266258
Abstract: A stemware restraining device that rests upon a surface and comprises a body with a top surface, bottom surface, a thickness, and a combination stem clearance slot (20,25,30,31) and underside cavity (21,27). Stemware can be slid into the slot cavity combination trapping said stemware's base while allowing the stem to pass vertically upward. The device does not necessarily contact the stemware until said stemware tips due to an external force. When this occurs the base of the stemware comes into contact with the underside cavity of said device and is restrained due to the resistive tipping moment of the device. The resistive tipping moment is provided either by the weight and width of said device or by its mechanical or magnetic attachment to said surface. The slot and cavity combination in general reflects the profile shape of the base and stem of a piece of stemware.

Even if a large smartphone is held, clamping with a fixed clamping part and a movable clamping part prevents the fixed part from being moved, wherein a device located back of the smartphone and at the side of the fixed clamping part cannot be hidden by the smartphone. Due to the movable clamping part being movable farther from a rotation axis than the fixed clamping part, a middle portion of the smartphone in the clamping direction substantially coincides with the rotation axis when holding a smartphone with a specified width, wherein the smartphone cannot be easily moved in a Y- and Z-direction when rotating a holding part to change orientation, and also at the back side, a device located at the side of the clamp cannot be easily hidden.

Abstract: A wall-mounted holder for cylindrical cans including a base and a generally cylindrical body portion integrally formed with and extending forwardly of the base at an upward inclination. The base defines a wall mounting surface thereon. The body portion has an extended open upper end for the insertion and removal of the container and defines a minimum interior transverse dimension and an opening extending longitudinally along a side portion thereof. Portions of said body portion extending along the opposed sides of the opening define container abutment surfaces such that upon inserting a cylindrical object having a diameter greater than the aforesaid transverse dimension into said body portion through the open upper end thereof, the abutment surfaces on the body portion of the holder are caused to flex outwardly and bear against portions of the container, securing the container within the body portion.

Abstract: A clamping device is used for clamping an object. The clamping device includes a main body, an actuating mechanism, and two clamping arms. The actuating mechanism is disposed within the main body. The actuating mechanism includes a gear and cam, which are coaxial with each other. Each of the two clamping arms has an extension part. The two extension parts are engaged with two opposite sides of the gear. In a case that the engaging element is engaged with the cam, the two clamping arms are in an open status. In a case that the engaging element is disengaged with the cam, the gear is driven by the cam to be rotated. As the gear is rotated, the two extension parts are towed to be linearly moved. Consequently, the two clamping arms are switched from the open status to a clamping status.
