  • Patent number: 11324342
Abstract: A system is presented for connecting a wall hanging object the support surface such as wall. The system has an attachment member that is attached to the wall surface by using one or more fastening techniques such as adhesive, tape or mechanical fastener. The mounting bracket has hook and opening guide path positioned within or along the hook. Wherein, a flexible member such as elongated rod is connected to the opening guide formed in the hook of the mounting bracket. Further, the flexible member or rod has two ends such as head and tip that allows the flexible member or rod to slide between fully extended and retracted position. In the extended position, the flexible member or rod helps to connect with the hanger or loops of the object or picture frame and later guides the hanger of the object to fit over the hook of the mounting bracket.

  • Patent number: 9182078
Abstract: The present creation is a video wall mount having an adjusting structure, which includes a wall fixing rack, a mounting hook, a first adjusting bolt, and a second adjusting bolt. After the mounting hook is locked to the back of a television, and is assembled to the video wall mount, when front-surface evenness needs adjustment, only the first adjusting bolt needs to be rotated. The second adjusting bolt is rotated to adjust a vertical gap. Because only the mounting hook and two adjusting bolts need to be used to adjust front-surface evenness and a vertical gap, a small number of elements are used, and the structure is very simple. In fabrication, the cost can be significantly decreased. Moreover, such an adjusting manner is intuitive and simple in operations, and adjustment operations can be performed immediately without additional reading of instructions or experiments.

Abstract: An adjustable picture hanger includes a mounting base that is fastened to the wall using screws or similar fasteners in the general location where the picture or wall hanging is to be hung. Movable inner and outer carriages on the bracket are adjustable in an up/down, and/or left/right directions using two adjustable fastening that allows positioning of the carriage in the X-Y axis. Surface indicia are printed on the mounting base and the outer carriage that define a relative position of said inner and outer carriages so that the user can measure minute distances within a perimeter of said mounting base. Thus, very fine adjustments can be applied to perfectly position any picture or wall hanging.

Abstract: Methods and devices are for adjustably and securely supporting an object using an adjustable hanger. The hanger includes a movable bracket, a fastener extending through the bracket and an adjustment member engaging the bracket and engaging the fastener. Adjustment of the adjustment member adjusts the position of the hanger relative to the fastener and to the surface to which the fastener attaches the hanger to the surface. Thus, a position of an object hung by the hanger is adjustable.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided including a main body portion, a first portion connected to the main body portion, and an extension portion connected to the first portion. The extension portion is comprised of an extension arm and a base. The base is configured to slide up and down the extension arm. The apparatus further includes a base engagement means, and a base release. The base engagement means does not allow the base to slide down the extension arm away from the first portion unless the base release has been activated. The base engagement means allows the base to slide up the extension arm toward the first portion regardless of whether the base release has been activated. The apparatus may be used to hang up a picture frame.

Abstract: An adjustable mounting and method for a wall hanging utilizes a disc mounting element secured to the wall with a threaded fastener passing through an eccentrically located hole. The disc is rotated to bring the top of a groove to a desired position and the fastener tightened to secure the disc in the adjusted position. The wall hanging has one or more supports which are engaged with the top of the disc perimeter. A peripheral groove engaging the support may be defined by continuous flared sides or two series of offset outwardly flared teeth. A stepped depth groove can better engage toothed supports.

A second suspension member can have a first end attached to the support structure and a second end attached to a second side of the hanging item, with the hanging item being suspended from the first and second suspension members. A mechanism can be secured to the first suspension member, and a level indicator switch can be operable to activate the mechanism to level the hanging item by retracting the first suspension member if the hanging item is tilted in a first direction and extending the first suspension member if the hanging item is tilted in a second direction.

Abstract: A frame leveler is disclosed that automatically levels picture frames, and mirror frames. A pivotable, weighted bob is used as a gravity reference to control a lock that unlocks the extension of a cable on the side of a frame that is tilted up with respect to the other side, when the frame is not level. The extensible cable is let out until the frame is once again level, at which point the extensible cable is locked and prevented from extending further. When the frame side is tilted down with respect to the other side, or the frame is level, the extensible cable is locked and prevented from extending on that side.

Abstract: “Hexapod” mountings are disclosed for use with optical elements. An exemplary mounting includes a base, a platform that is movable relative to the base, and six legs having nominally identical length. Three pairs of legs, having substantially equal stiffness, extend between the base and platform and support the platform relative to the base. In each pair of legs, respective first ends are coupled together in a ?-shaped manner forming a respective apex. Respective second ends are splayed relative to the apex, desirably forming an angle of substantially 109.5° at the apex. The apices are mounted equidistantly from each other on a circle on the platform. The respective second ends of the pairs of legs are mounted at respective locations on a circle on the base. The axes of each pair of legs define a respective leg plane substantially perpendicular to the base plane. Each leg has an actuator that, when energized, changes a length of the respective leg.
