Abstract: A plastic bag dispenser device for dispensing feces bags with help from a moisture pad includes a tube. The tube has an aperture positioned on the side of the tube. The aperture provides an opening for a user to grab a canine feces bag. A lid is positioned on top of the tube. A compartment is attached to the top of the lid. The compartment defines a space for a moisture pad to be placed. The moisture pad wets the fingers of the user. A roll of bags is stored within the hollow interior of the tube. Each of the bags is coupled to each other by a perforation line. The user can separate each bag from the roll by pulling the bag from the perforation line. A snap hook clip is attached to the exterior of the tube and is used for attaching the tube to a canine leash.

Abstract: A collapsible bag holding frame assembly for holding a trash bag includes a first frame and a second frame. The first frame defines an opening. The second frame is attached to the first frame so that a first piece of the second frame is substantially perpendicular to the first frame. A second piece of the second frame extends from proximate to an upper end of the first piece and opposingly to the first frame. The second piece and the first piece define a notch into which an element of a structure is insertable to removably attached to the structure. The first frame is positioned above a surface from which the structure extends. A bag is insertable in the opening so that an upper segment of the bag is stretchable around and attachable to the first frame.

A method includes inserting a waste-receiving liner into a receptacle of a waste bin; inserting a liner support member to extend within, and along an interior surface of, the waste-receiving liner, in a direction toward a base of the waste-receiving liner; and securing the liner support member to the waste bin.

Abstract: A trolley case handle and a trolley case are disclosed. The trolley case handle includes a handle body and at least one bracket. The handle body has at least one groove for accommodating the at least one bracket. Each of the at least one bracket is connected to the handle body through a connecting shaft. The connecting shaft functions as a rotation shaft about which the bracket is capable of rotating relative to the handle body. Each of the at least one bracket is provided with a U-shaped notch. In addition, a handle top cover is disposed on a top portion of the handle body. When the handle top cover is in an open state, the connecting shaft is accessible and can be detached from the handle body.

Abstract: A versatile trash bag has a mouth that is biased open to facilitate putting refuse in the bag and a plurality of handles for hanging the bag from a variety of objects. The trash bag is maintained in a wide-open configuration to facilitate a user's ability to place trash or access the contents therein. The bags also have structure to close and seal the open mouth. The bag has a stiff upper rim to which the pliable pouch portion connects, and which initially lies flat and may be folded to an expanded open mouth configuration. The stiff upper rim and an assembly of nested handles of different shapes may be integrally formed from plastic or stiff paper.

Abstract: Specially-designed rack and plastic bag, and methods of use. The bag is mounted on the rack with a lower portion of the bag disposed inwardly and downwardly of the top of the rack, and an upper portion of the bag disposed outwardly and downwardly of the top of the rack. Workers place thin-section waste material into the bag. When the bag is full, the bag is replaced with an empty bag. The bag has holes, which enable air to escape through bag side walls while the bag is being compressed in a baler. Because air escapes through the side walls, more of the air can be removed for a given baler compaction force thereby the resulting bale weighs about 10% to about 25%, or greater, more than a bale made with the same materials and the same baler conditions, without use of the rack and bags of the invention.

Abstract: A storm drain sediment filter that can be adapted to cover a catch basin and be held in place by a perforated grate. In one embodiment, the filter includes a frame including four L-shaped rigid members, each of which is provided with at least two spaced apart retaining members. The four L-shaped rigid members are arranged such that a rectangular frame is formed having a total of four overlapping sections. The retaining members engage one of the overlapping portions of the frame but slidably receives the other. No retaining ends are formed at the distal end of the slidably engaged L-shaped members to serve as a sliding boundary. Instead, the dimensions of the filter bag are such that the filter bag serves to define the maximum dimension of the frame and thereby maintain the overlapping L-shaped rigid members in slidable engagement with each other. A circular embodiment is also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a trash collection device. In some embodiments, the trash collection device is placed under a seat and multiple bags are available. By having multiple bags available, the amount of time for cleanup is reduced by not having to clean trash off the ground and by not having to replace bags after every use.

Abstract: Provided is a fitment bistable pull-snap hold open mechanism including a flexible first and second flat, strip like members with one or more pivot members integrated into the second flat, strip like member. The first flat, strip like member is coupled to the second flat, strip like member at their respective ends with two or more bonding points. The one or more pivot members include a vertical living hinge and a flexure, which allows the mechanism to be biased between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The vertical living hinge does not extend to the top edge or the bottom edge of the second flat, strip like member to improve the integrity of the mechanism. The first and second flat, strip like members are applied proximate the opening of a flexible package on the inside walls and allow the package to be maintained in the open position for removing its contents.

Abstract: Disclosed is a shopping cart bagging station that couples to a shopping cart. The shopping cart bagging station includes a center piece, a first and a second handle arm assembly, and a back plate. The center piece includes a bag holder hook that at least one shopping bag hangs from. The first and the second handle arm assembly each include a handle holder arm that an arm of the shopping bag hangs from. The back plate couples the bagging station to a shopping cart by securing a side of the shopping cart between the back plate and the center piece. The shopping cart bagging station can be mounted in various locations on a shopping cart, making it easy and convenient for a customer to carry and load a number of shopping bags as they shop.

Abstract: One embodiment relates to a bistable hold open mechanism including first and second flexible flat, strip like members positioned relative to each other, The members include opposing first and second ends; an inner mating surface; and an opposing outer bonding surface, One or more pivot members and/or hinges is integrated into the second member separating it into a side seal portion and an operable portion, the side seal portion coupled to the operable portion. Embodiments include flexures which allow the pivot members or hinges to be biased in open or closed configurations. Applying a slight pressure to the members opens the mechanism. When the mechanism reaches a predetermined point, the pivot or hinges lock, maintaining an open configuration. Closing the mechanism only requires a slight pressure be applied to the external surface of the members, resulting in the pivot members or hinges unlocking and rotating towards a closed configuration.

Abstract: Shopping cart bagging stations are described that can be used by customers to bag their purchases as they shop. A shopping cart bagging station holds and dispenses at least one shopping bag. The shopping cart bagging stations are formed of a plurality of shopping cart bagging station elements that fit together using slot joints. Some of the slot joints may be rotational slot joints, which allow rotation of one or more of the shopping cart bagging station elements. The shopping cart bagging station may include a hinged support bar that allows the shopping cart bagging station to be folded. The hinge and the rotation of one or more of the shopping cart bagging station elements allows the shopping cart bagging station to be folded into a compact form when not in use, and quickly and easily opened for use.

Abstract: Described is a cabinet for holding paper bags at a bagging station in a retail store, and a bag retaining fixture mounted inside the cabinet. The cabinet holds a stack of paper bags, and the bag retaining fixture secures the stack of paper bags inside the cabinet. The cabinet housing can be mounted to or near the bagging station. The bag retaining fixture is coupled to an inner surface of the cabinet. The bag retaining fixture includes a plate and an elongate wire coupled to the plate. The elongate wire puts pressure on the stack of paper bags to hold them in place as individual paper bags are removed for filling. The cabinet for holding paper bags and the bag retaining fixture keep the stack of paper bags from being scattered as the paper bags are stored and dispensed.

Retaining members (35) in retaining member accommodating recesses (37) located in corners (10) of the basin (2) engage engagement openings (30) formed in the liner (3) adjacent a peripheral upper edge (24) thereof and adjacent corners (27) of a peripheral wall (19) of the liner (3) for releasably securing and retaining the liner (3) to the basin (2). The basin (2) lined with the liner (3) is charged with water for washing the patient. On completion of washing, the liner (3) is removed from the basin (2) for disposal.

Abstract: A storm water drain filter including a collapsible frame supporting a filter bag. The filter may be installed in a stormwater drain pit to capture contaminants and particulate matter before it enters a stormwater drain. The collapsible frame is light weight, compact, simple and inexpensive. The filter bag is secured to the frame so as to maintain its shape and avoid deformation. There is also disclosed a method of installing a stormwater drain filter in a stormwater drain pit to provide an effective seal between the stormwater drain filter and the pit.

Abstract: A bag-supporting frame apparatus is removably mountable on a portion of a substrate. The apparatus includes a gripping portion for contacting the substrate and holding the apparatus in place on the substrate. The apparatus also includes a bag-supporting portion configured to support an open end portion of a flexible plastic bag thereon, the bag-supporting portion including an outer loop portion and a downwardly-extending short portion attached to the outer loop portion at each end thereof. A projecting catch is defined, at each end of the outer loop portion, at the juncture of the downwardly-extending short portion and the outer loop portion. The outer loop portion is sized and configured to support a plastic bag of a predetermined size thereon. The apparatus also includes a connecting portion interconnecting the bag-supporting portion and the gripping portion. Methods of using the apparatus are also described.

Abstract: Device and method for collecting leaf and yard debris, including an apparatus comprising a flexible thermoplastic sheet having a top portion and a bottom portion that are connected or partially connected. Embodiments include a two-piece design with separate top and bottom portions that are reversibly, semi-permanently, or permanently connected, so the two portions can be folded for storage. Other embodiments include a one-piece design having left side and right side cut-out areas and horizontal slits. In each embodiment, the top portion can be rolled into a cylindrical shape independently of the bottom portion, which maintains its planar configuration. Once rolled, the cylindrical top portion can be inserted into the opening of a lawn bag, and the material tension expands the cylinder to snugly fit the bag opening, thereby aiding in collecting leaf and yard debris.

Abstract: A collapsible support frame has a top opening and open sides to allow a plastic bag to be received through the top opening. Anchoring members protrude outwardly from the frame to engage the top of the open bag after it is folded over the frame. The anchoring members are dimensioned to at least partially stretch the folded-over portion of the bag to insure that the bag remains secured to the frame even when the bag is weighed down with materials placed in the bag, such as trash, recyclables, etc. After the bag is full and is to be removed from the frame the folded over portion is manually urged over the anchoring members to separate the bag from the frame. While the bag is held in the frame the exterior surfaces of the bag are visible and preferably bear messages, advertisements, etc.

The outline has two of the first diameter of generally equal dimension and two of the second diameter of generally equal dimension. The device has tubular film about an outward radial surface of the annular body. A free annular end is dispensed outwardly from the annular wall. The free annular end is closed to form a bag. The opening of the bag is accessible through the central opening and is of optimized shape via the central opening for the disposal of waste. A method for disposing of waste on a scooping tool is also provided.

Abstract: A trolley 2 for use in recyclable waste collection in an aircraft or other catering environment is conformal with a normal aircraft trolley. The trolley 2 comprises a horizontal tray 14 18 19 20 21 comprising a plurality of horizontal apertures, each aperture comprising a rubbish bag 19 20 held therein by its edges 22 between a tray base 14 and tray cover 18 that snap together. Before use the rubbish bags 19 20 are contained within the horizontal tray 14 18 19 20 and are freed to hang vertically within the trolley 2 when in use. The trolley 2 comprises a retractable lid which covers the tray assembly 14 18 19 20 21 when the trolley 2 is not in use. A liquid waste container 21 also fits into the tray and is independently removable for emptying without removing rubbish bags 19 20. The apertures and/or the rubbish bags 19 20 are colour coded according to the type of waste they are intended to receive and according to the colour coding employed in the country where recycling is intended to occur.

Abstract: A portable barrier installation system and release mechanism is provided. A support frame comprising a first support arch is coupled on each end to a first and second support base. A second support arch, parallel to the first support arch, is coupled on each end to the first and second support base. A hopper assembly is coupled to the support frame. Rotation of the hopper assembly causes the hopper assembly to be in a fill or storage position. A release mechanism facilitates the release and placement of filled bags.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an adapter for use with ordinary lawn and leaf bags and a method for manufacture of such adapter. The adapter has a cavity that has four sides and four corners, and a lower portion consisting of four flaps. The use of a frame, side and/or corner fasteners create an adapter where the flaps lie inside the bag and the cavity remains outside the bag to create a large surface area for filling the bag and also prevents the mouth of the bag from closing due to wind or other forces.

Abstract: A method and device of inserting a food stuff into a food stuff bag is disclosed, with the method involving providing a substantially flexible resilient food stuff support that is generally “U” shaped when viewed from its operative position on a countertop, inserting at least a first end of the device a short depth into an opening of a pliable bag, such first end having an edge that is curved and opposing sides that are substantially straight. A bending mechanism bends so that at least the first end deforms from a first configuration to a second configuration for insertion of the first end through the bag opening and into an interior of the bag, wherein when the forces are reduced, the first end changes shape toward the first configuration for holding a portion of the bag and for providing an open volume within the bag for transferring a food stuff to the interior of the bag.

Abstract: A lawn caddy for receiving and transporting waste such as grass clippings, leaves, plant vegetation and compost waste. The lawn caddy transports yard waste from one location to another without heavy lifting. It is light and durable, having a maximum weight of 10 to 12 pounds and can contain up to 40 pounds of waste or less. By filling refuge bags and transporting waste to a curb side shortens time spent in cutting and cleaning lawns.

An article provided in accordance with some embodiments includes a receiver with an opening suitable for admitting debris, and also having panels connected thereto which assist in directing debris into the opening of the receiver. An adapter body having a proximal end attached to the receiver permits debris to pass through the adapter body to the distal end of the adapter body, and the distal end is fitted with a collection receptacle, which receptacle comprises a sack, bag or the like that contains perforations or holes sufficiently dimensioned to enable air to pass through the wall of the sack, bag, or the like, while retaining debris within the interior volume of the sack, bag, or the like.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for holding bags in a dishwasher rack for cleaning by a dishwasher. The apparatus comprises a flexible base with optional vertical supports for holding the opening of a reusable bag open, configured for biased engagement of prongs in the dishwasher rack. This invention holds the bag open, in place and upright while in the dishwasher to prevent collapse and to facilitate cleaning and re-use.

Abstract: A support stand for disposal bags includes a base and at least four posts extending upwardly from the base. Each post terminates in an upper extremity. An extendable tip is positioned at the upper extremity of each post. Each extendable tip is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. Extendable tips are maintained in the extended position by a locking mechanism. Releasing the locking mechanism on one or more extendable tip causes the extendable tip to move to the retracted position thereby relieving tension on a disposal bag that is supported in the support stand to avoid binding between the disposal bag and the posts.

Abstract: Disclosed is a bag stand including at least three side panels, each side panel having a top end, a bottom end, a left end, a right end, an inner surface, and an outer surface, each side panel having two adjacent side panels, each right end of each side panel connected to the left end of one of the adjacent side panels and each left end of each side panel connected to the right end of the other adjacent side panel, thereby forming a substantially continuous bag stand having a top end and a bottom end and a plurality of panel tabs, each panel tab hingedly connected to the top end of the bag stand, each panel tab having at least one interfacing end for connection to at least one other of the plurality of panel tabs.

Abstract: The invention includes apparatus to assist a user in cleaning up trash, particularly lawn and garden materials. In one embodiment the device includes a waste receptacle having a supply of endless bagging material mounted at the rim portion thereof and a large side wall opening in the receptacle to permit the removal of the loaded bag. In another embodiment the device includes a platform having a central opening supported above the ground on legs or a frame member. Attached to the platform is an area holding a supply of endless bagging material which is fed through the central opening in the platform and tied off to form a bag. The platform and bagging material supply may be embodied in a tray with collapsible legs; optionally in a single use disposable format. In another embodiment the bagging assembly is mounted on a pole or a wheeled cart including a lower support member.

Abstract: The present invention is a lawn care and collection system that includes a disposable plastic air gill bag that receives leaves and yard debris preferably air blown or manually raked to be collected, contained and disposed of. It includes gill columns disposed on the air gill bag that provide controlled air flow and ventilation, tie string ports and vertical strength columns. A pair of air curtains is removably attached to a pair of single rod vertical supports via a sewn sleeve to one rod of double rod vertical supports that are removably and adjustably secured to an air curtain. The air gill bag is removably and adjustably connected to a second rod of the double rod vertical supports through the incorporated tie string ports on both sides of the air gill bag.

Abstract: An apparatus for retaining the opening of a garbage bag is provided. A garbage bag retention ring can include a flexible and invertible base ring and a flexible and invertible retention ring fixed to the base ring. The base ring and the retention ring can each have about the same diameter. The base ring and the retention ring invert to expose an interior surface of the retention ring as an exterior surface. The garbage bag retention ring can further include at least one aperture formed between a junction of the base ring and the retention ring that is adapted to receive an edge of a circumferential portion of a garbage bag.

Abstract: A bag rack and packing system for a plastic grocery bag having a pair of handles has a base to which is connected (1) a three-sided rack having a reservoir bag holder for plastic bags and two arms and (2) a three-sided support having two side supports and an intermediate back support, with each of the side supports having a forward upper tab close to the three-sided rack, an intermediate top and then a rearward edge. The three-sided rack and three-sided support have open faces that face each other so that the three-sided support temporarily creates a defined physical frame for a first plastic grocery bag when its handles are secured over the forward upper tabs of the two side supports. The forward upper tabs help separate an individual bag from a reservoir of bags and the individual bag may remain attached to, or be detached from, the reservoir of bags as it is being filled.

Abstract: A device for selectively retaining a package opening in a gaping configuration and a package including the device applied to a package body. The device includes a circumferential strip with side seams formed as hinges. One or more tabs extend in a first axial direction from an upper edge of the circumferential strip at the side seams. Each tab is coupled to the circumferential strip with a hinge. The tabs are pivotable about the hinges in opposite directions away from the opening axis to respective folded-out positions, which inhibits the device from folding at the side seams and retains a gaping open configuration of the device and package.
