Abstract: An optical filter aligner/separator device for retaining optical filters in a desired position, the optical filters having an optical filter height, the device includes: a top frame having a top frame cut out section; a bottom frame having a bottom side and a bottom frame cut out section, the bottom frame coupled to the top frame, the bottom frame cut out section aligning with the top frame cut out section; and a wire mesh disposed between the top frame and the bottom frame, the wire mesh disposed at the cut out section, the wire mesh having a height from the bottom side of the bottom frame that is less than the optical filter height.

Abstract: The present invention of an assembled clothes hamper mainly has an entire clothes hamper designed as a hamper body in the shape of a vertical barrel to be assembled by a bottom seat, a top ring as well as a plurality of partition rings; all the said members are fitted with, interlocked and firmly clamped by a pair of vertical side frames to form a clothes hamper to be assembled by a customer and advantageous for detaching every member into a simplest form to facilitate the stacking package, increase the shipment, the storage and the selling.

Abstract: A bag holding and filling device comprises a light strong portable framework to hold a sandbag, or similar flexible container. The bag to be filled is secured by means of four hooks two of which are arranged on swinging arms and two on the main framework. These hooks engage with, the open neck of the sandbag and hold the top of the bag open. A conical shaped funnel with an included angle of approximately 80° is pivotally mounted on the framework so that the funnel is supported in a position such that any material fed into the funnel will be guided into the open neck of the bag. The funnel swings into another position in which access is available to the hooks to place or remove the bag. A spring or springs tension the bag hooks on the swinging arms so that the bag is securely held on the hooks during the filling operation. The bent tubular framework provides strength with lightness and is formed to facilitate hand carrying.

Abstract: A holder for supporting a bag having handles in an open position is disclosed. The holder includes a mounting member to removably mount the holder to a support structure, and a pair of support arms which interlock with the handles of the bag during use. The support arms extend from the mounting member, include a pair of notches on an upper edge thereof, and a pair of cutout portions on the bottom coners of each support arm. In use, the handles of the bag are disposed from an inner surface of an adjacent support arm, outwardly through the upper notches, extend downwardly over an outer surface of either arm, and are secured within the lower corner cutout portions of each arm. The interlocking of the handles and the arms allows the bag to maintain an open position, while providing sufficient support for items placed within the bag.

Abstract: An organizer for use with a closet rod extending along an axis includes a row of side-by-side compartments at least partially formed from a flexible material. Each side-by-side compartment has a floor, a pair of side walls extending from the floor and a mouth between the side walls. The organizer further includes a suspender coupled to the row of side-by-side compartments. The suspender is configured and adapted to hang the plurality of compartments from the closet rod such that each mouth faces a forward horizontal direction perpendicular to the axis of the closet rod when the organizer is hung from the rod.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for securing, loading and singularly dispensing bags in a bag bundle from a dispensing hook includes a bag bundle formed from a plurality of stacked bags. Each bag has apertures are defined in the front panel and the rear panel adjacent the open top, these apertures having an opening of a selected dimension normal to the vertical side walls with an upper edge. A dispensing hook is used having parallel sides separated by a width complimentary to the selected dimension of the apertures to provide a secure, snug fit when the bag bundle is placed on the dispensing hook at the registered apertures. The dispensing hook defining a bag holding surface complimentary to the upper edge of the apertures.

Abstract: A chute apparatus for collecting leaves and debris includes: (a) an upper chute portion having an open front portion, the chute portion including a back portion with a front end that is wider than its rear end, and two smaller, matching chute sides attached to either side of the back chute portion; and (b) an open-ended lower channel portion connected to the chute portion, the channel portion having four sides: an upper section, a channel back section opposite to the channel upper section, and two narrower channel side sections, which are opposite to one another and which connect the channel upper section to the channel back section. The chute apparatus may also include clips on the sides, or an external ridge, for removably attaching the edges of a trash bag. In one embodiment, which does not include a channel portion, the chute sides are hinged for achieving a folded, storage position and various open positions with different degrees of angle.

Abstract: A disposable bag including a stand, the bag including an opening with a plurality of resilient overlapping leaves through which disposable items are inserted. The outer periphery of the bag has a flange that rests on a corresponding support ring of the stand. The bag includes an attached lid with a peripheral lip that snaps onto the flange.

Abstract: A thin, flat device (10) for inserting scrapbook page device (22) for quick application of article protectors (20). The device is made of a flexible material, with a spine (12) so it can be repeatedly folded, without fracturing, tearing or cracking. In addition it provides a fast, easy and hassles free approach to applying article protectors (20). Not only does it provide a quick method of inserting it also protects a scrapbook page (22) from being torn, folded, bent or torn during the application of article protectors (20).

Abstract: A refuse bag holder for holding a collapsible bag in an open orientation includes a mount portion including an elongate member having an upper end and lower end. A hook is attached to the upper end. A loop is hingedly coupled to the elongate member by a hinge and is positioned on an opposite side of the elongate member with respect to the hook. The loop has an outer surface and an inner surface. A coupling member removably attaches the refuse bag to the loop. A securing member releasably secures the loop in a generally horizontal position. An edge of a refuse bag may be extended between the loop and the coupling member such that the refuse bag is held in an open orientation.

Abstract: The invention relates to a support for holding open a bag, in particular a plastic material rubbish bag. The support comprises a hoop and a plurality of clips spaced equidistantly around the hoop. The hoop defines an opening through which the open bag may be inserted with the opening of the bag being clipped to the clips. The hoop thereby supports the bag so that the bag hangs through the opening when the hoop is raised. The hoop has a circular cross-section, with each clip being spring-biased to conform to the hoop, so that the bag is pinched between the clip and the hoop. When the bag hangs from the support, the weight of the bag bears on each clip to pinch the bag tighter in each clip.

Abstract: A stiffener apparatus, including first and second stiffener body sections, each section forming an open, geometric structure, with U-shaped channels facilitating mechanically mating the two sections, i.e. a quasi-congruent, multi-planar surface, snap-ring construction, that effects reliable compression of flexible material disposed between two mating sections. The stiffener sections are sized for fitting an opening of a flexible trash bag. An integral clamping mechanism securely latches the stiffener sections together and facilitates separating the sections. Mating channels compress the outer edges of the trash bag's opening material, greatly improving the compression fit keeping the trash bag open, especially in heavily loaded trash bag conditions. Each stiffener section, has a scooping ramp edge member for channeling material into the trash bag. One stiffener section has at least one handle with a notch for hanging the apparatus. The apparatus has means for attaching an optional hinged cover.

Abstract: A bag storage and holding apparatus for a recyclable or disposable handle bag. On each end of the receptacle is a rotatably mounted side arm, which can swing up or down through approximately 90 degrees. When the arms are in an approximately horizontal position, the apparatus is positioned for receiving a handle bag and maintaining it in an open position. Securing means, in the form of a locking tab, are provided to secure the side arms in an upward position. Each side arm has handle engaging means for retaining the bag in an open position for receipt of refuse. The apparatus has a receptacle for storing handle bags for future use.

Abstract: A support rack for a plastic container having a content in excess of 1.5 gallons of liquid. Two or more support members extend from a wire body section, for engagement with apertures in the plastic container. A connecting section extends between the support members of first sides thereof, and supporting sections extend from second sides thereof for connection to a suspending support member. In one embodiment the support members are U-shaped and in another embodiment they are finger members. The support rack can be connected to the suspending support member in a stationary or swivel manner or can be part of a rolling cart.

Abstract: The device to hold a bag for grass clippings has an upper section including a hopper integral with a chute having solid walls, and a lower section configured as a caddy for supporting the chute in an upright position. The chute has a pair of wheels for transporting the device, and a pair of toe tabs for lateral stability and for holding the caddy when removing the upper section from a bag of grass clippings. In use, the chute is inverted and a paper bag is placed over the chute. The upper section is turned over to an upright position and placed on the caddy. The hopper may be grasped to tilt the device and wheel it to a desired location. The chute is removed from the bag and the bag is removed from the caddy after bagging the grass clippings.

Abstract: A refuse bag holder having a central pole is adapted to be inserted into the ground. Connectable to the central pole is a loop. In the preferred embodiment the loop is made of three generally linear rigid members which are flexibly connected to each other such that, when the the rigid members are connected to the central pole, the formed loop extends at an upward angle from the pole. The loop, and in some embodiments, a handle on the central pole, form the basis for securing the refuse bag so that it is kept open for easy use.

Abstract: A self-closing bag holder for a flexible bag. The bag holder has a pair of resilient arms for supporting the bag and a pair of resilient handles. Each arm is joined with a handle by a rocker, which provides a fixed angle between the arm and the handle. The other ends of the arms are releasably hinged together. The other ends of the handles are joined together such that they bow away from each other because of the fixed angle rockers. The rockers are pivotally joined together, such that upon compressing the handles, the rockers will pivot to cause the arms to expand and bow away from each other, thus opening the flexible bag. Upon release of the handles, the arms will retract toward each other, thus closing the bag, while the handle will regain its originally bowed shape. The self-closing feature of the bag holder allows an operator to open and close the bag without having to touch the bag itself Also, when no pressure is exerted on the handles, the arms and thus the bag will remain closed.

Abstract: A laundry apparatus that is mountable on a door, including a mountable rim and a laundry bag that may be attached to the rim or removed from the rim. The rim is held in a generally horizontal position in which the laundry bag is open, but may be lowered to take up less space. The rim of the laundry bag is mountable on a surface, such as a vertical surface of a door, using a mounting plate to which the rim is attached. The mounting plate is either affixed directly to the surface or suspended from above the surface, such as with an over-the-door bracket.

Abstract: A lawn and leaf bag holder of one piece, wire rod construction including a triangular frame for positioning the open mouth of a plastic lawn or leaf bag, a handle extending upwardly from an apex of the triangular frame to form a handle for the bag holder and a pair of anchoring loops on each side of the frame adjacent the frame apex. The open mouth of the bag is stretched or tensioned around the triangular frame and secured with one or both of the anchoring loops. One segment of the triangular frame and bag can be positioned against or adjacent a ground surface to enable leaves, lawn debris and the like to be raked or swept into the open end of the bag while the frame and the open end of the bag are oriented in a vertical plane by a user grasping the handle to support the frame and open end of the bag in the vertical position and also enabling the bag to be moved to new positions as desired.

Abstract: A bag holder is provided in the form of a hoop which receives a bag and holds the top of the bag open at all times, thus allowing a person to deposit trash or other articles therein without having to repeatedly open the top of the bag. Subsequent to use the bag is dissembled from the frame and sealed and disposed of, with the frame optionally reused or disposed of. Optionally the frame and bag are disposed of as a unit without subsequent disassembly. Frames, bags, and other ancillary parts of the unit are inexpensively manufactured of molded polymers or plastics, and are inexpensive enough for single use as warranted.

Abstract: A rack includes a base, a supporting rod, and a hanging member. The base has opposing connecting parts on two opposing ends. The middle portions of the connecting parts define an upright cylindrical holding space in between. The supporting rod is passed into the upright holding space, and pivoted to the connecting parts at a lower end so that the supporting rod can be pivoted between a laid down position and an upright in-use position. The hanging member includes a ring-shaped supporting part pivoted to the top of the supporting rod such that it can be disposed perpendicular to the supporting rod for a bag to be hung on. The supporting rod is provided like a telescope so that the height of the hanging member can be changed to be suitable for bags of different sizes.

Abstract: An insert for use in filling paper or plastic bags with yard waste materials. An elongate rectangular sleeve of corrugated paper board has an open top and open bottom. Weight retaining elements are formed near the bottom of opposing sidewalls of the insert. Tuck openings are formed along the length of the opposing sidewalls to receive gathered segments of the top edge of a plastic bag in which the insert is placed. Hand openings are formed near the upper ends of opposing sidewalls. The insert may be inverted while a yard waste bag is placed over it and then righted to rest in an upright position with the yard waste bag surrounding it.

Abstract: A collapsible device for supporting a disposable plastic bag is provided. The device includes a hoop having at least one tab that extends from the hoop to engage and retain a plastic bag supported within the hoop. The tabs engage and retain the bag mouth by friction. The device may include one or more legs to support the hoop above the ground. The device may also include a second hoop slideably connected to the legs to add additional support. The second hoop may include a collar and the legs may include corresponding stops. When the collars are slid along the legs and rest on the stops a bend may be created in the legs which prevents the collars from sliding away from the stops.

Abstract: A bag opening and cleaning system which allows a garbage or leaf bag to be held open while filled with garbage or leaves. The system includes a pair of hoops including an inner hoop and an outer hoop. The inner hoop is positionable within the outer hoop. The pair of hoops have a plurality of circumferentially spaced pliable clamps holding the inner and outer hoops together. The pair of hoops receive an open upper end of a bag between the inner and outer hoops. A gripping member is coupled with the pair of hoops. A dust pan is hingedly coupled with the pair of hoops.

Abstract: A plastic bag holder system for allowing an individual to reuse a plastic grocery bag as a garbage bag or storage bag. The plastic bag holder system includes a loop member, a first arm attached to the loop member on one side, a second arm attached to the loop member opposite of the first arm, and a plurality of brackets attached to the arms for securing to a vertical structure with conventional fasteners. The arms each have an angled member that is angled upwardly toward a rear section thereof for catchably receiving the handles of the plastic bag.

Abstract: An adaptive handle is used in connection with a plastic shopping bag to be adapted for reuse as a garbage container. First and front members each have a pair of support elements for engaging the loop handles of the shopping bag. The side members are spaced apart side-by-side, so as to support the shopping bag and hold the shopping bag open. Attaching means are provided for attaching the side members together to close the bag. A suspending element, such as a hook, is provided for hanging up the adaptive handle and shopping bag behind a sink cabinet door. Optional skirts connect the side members together, thereby forming a closed system.

Abstract: A collecting tool (10) for use with a refuse collection bag (29), including a frame (12) having a number of frame members (13) which are joined by connectors (17). A number of retainers (31) attach a refuse collection bag (29) to the frame (12). A handle (30) is detachably attachable to the frame (12), so that the frame (12) and the attached bag (29) can be manipulated to position the collecting tool (10) during refuse collection. A number of legs (28) are detachably attachable to the frame (12), the legs (28) acting to support the frame (12) and an attached refuse collection bag (29) in an upright position (52). One of the legs (28) may optionally serve as the handle (30) or may help support the frame in a free-standing position (58). Optionally, one of the retainers (17) is a snap ramp (34), including a flat ramp portion (36) which is reversible in direction so that the flat ramp portion (36) may serve as an inwardly disposed entrance ramp (54), or as an outwardly disposed entrance ramp (56).

Abstract: A bag opener support apparatus includes a frame having members movable between a collapsed position allowing easy insertion through an end of a flexible container to an expanded position in which the members are movable to a position expanding the interior of the flexible container and the open end of the container to a full cross section shape. The apparatus includes first and second frame members formed of interconnected side legs, with the second frame members pivotally connected to the first frame member for pivotal movement between the collapsed and expanded positions. A lock arm is mountable on one of the second frame members for lockingly engaging the opposed second frame member to maintain the second frame members in the expanded position.

Abstract: A device is disclosed for holding open the mouth of a bag. The device comprises a strip of light weight, generally stiff material having a predetermined length generally corresponding to the circumference of the mouth of the bag. The strip of material has a predetermined height and a predetermined thickness which is sufficient to provide vertical support. The strip of material is secured around a surface of the bag proximate to the mouth of the bag, such that when the bag is placed on a supporting surface, the strip of material supports and maintains the mouth of the bag in an open condition.

Abstract: The device method of holding a mouth of a bag. The mouth of a bag is drawn through the inside of a hoop, and then is folded around the outside of the hoop. The open edge of the mouth of the bag is positioned below the outside of the hoop. An elastic O-ring is then stretched around the portion of the bag end which overlies the hoop. The O-ring is positioned on the hoop beneath a shelf and is stretched around a lug on a sloping support to hold the bag securely. Triangular openings allow finger insertion to remove the band.

Abstract: A plastic bag holder system for allowing an individual to reuse a plastic grocery bag as a garbage bag or storage bag. Abstract: A heat sealing garbage cabinet stores a plastic bag of garbage. When the bag is but partially full, the bag is temporarily sealed by folding and pressure sealing the top of the bag. When the bag is full, it is heat sealed. A slitter unit cuts a handle-hole in the bag for easy disposal.

Abstract: A collapsible frame is provided for positioning a flexible membrane to capture and collect animal waste. From a folded, retracted condition capable of being stored in a pocket or easily carried, the present invention springs open using hinges that open to form a polygon frame with an open interior. The polygon frame may preferably be in the shape of a triangle, square, pentagon or hexagon, although the scope of the invention will extend to a polygon with any number of sides. The frame is used in conjunction with a flexible membrane such as, for example, a plastic bag. The flexible membrane is spread out by the expansion of the frame, and when strategically placed beneath the animal provides a snare to catch the animal waste. The frame and membrane combination provides a target for the animal, and a collection mechanism for capturing the waste. Once the waste is deposited on the flexible membrane, it can be removed from the frame and wrapped up without any human contact with the waste itself.

Abstract: A cargo supporting apparatus adapted to be used within a bed of a pickup truck. The apparatus includes a frame which is pivotally mounted to a longitudinal sidewall of the bed such that it can be moved between a stowed position and an operative position. In the operative position the frame extends generally horizontally from the sidewall of the bed. A pivot assembly is used to support the frame in its operative position. A locking assembly is operatively associated with the pivot assembly for holding the frame in its operative position. The locking assembly also includes a user actuatable lever. The actuatable lever can be used to unlock the locking mechanism such that the frame can be pivoted from its operative position into its stowed position. The frame includes a plurality of openings which each have a cargo carrying element such as a net or flexible bag.

Abstract: A device for supporting a flexible bag comprises a generally elliptically-shaped first loop of rigid wire-like material, the first loop being adapted for engagement with a support surface. Legs of the same material upstand from the first loop. A generally elliptically-shaped second loop of rigid wire-like material is fixed to upper ends of the legs which maintain the second loop spaced from the first loop, in a plane parallel with a plane of the first loop, and disposed centrally of the first loop in plan view. The legs incline from the first loop to the second loop and are operative to lock a bag on the device as the bag is filled. The first and second loops are each provided with straight side portions parallel to each other.

Abstract: The present shopping bag holder is for holding a used plastic or paper shopping bag as a garbage, trash, or recycling bag. It is comprised of a single side panel connected between opposite end panels to provide an open side. Semi-circular tabs project upward respectively from the tops of the end panels for holding the loop handles of a plastic shopping bag. A hole is provided in each tab for allowing a finger to pass under the loop handle to lift the bag. A gap is provided at the top of each tab to allow the finger to pass through. The side panel is angled outward for leaning a paper shopping bag inward and preventing it from falling out. The open side allows the shopping bag to expand when filled.

A plurality of inner hoops having an outer side wall surface of a shape and size complementary to various levels of the inner side wall surface of the outer binder. A flexible bag of any size may be mounted and maintained in an open manner between the outer binder and a selected one of the inner hoops by inserting the bag through the inner hoop with the bag's lip portion folded to wrap around over the outer side wall of the inner hoop and then placed inside the outer binder until the folded back lip portion of the bag is sandwiched between the mating outer binder and inner hoop. The inner hoop has openings to allow the flexible bag to cling to it's side wall to ease the mounting operation.

Abstract: A device for holding open and facilitating the filling of a trash bag with leaves, grass, debris or the like is provided. The device is comprised of a frame including a top wall, a bottom wall and at least one set of opposite side walls, and further including entry and exit ends having a hollow interior area extending therebetween. The sidewalls are provided with holes therethrough proximate entry end, the holes having corresponding slits. The frame is configured to receive on its exit end a specially configured trash bag having two knots tied within the opening edge of the bag. The bag is placed upon the exterior of the exit end of the frame and pulled toward entry end so that the knots of the bag line up with the holes in the sidewalls.

Abstract: An apparatus for collection and holding debris in a flexible container includes a platform having a right panel, a center panel and a left panel. Each of the right panel and the left panel are at an angle to a plane defined by the center panel. There is a protrusion from the left side of the center panel and from the right side of the center panel and a ring attached to the platform.

Abstract: A yard waste storage and disposal system which includes a free-standing frame defining an interior volume, the frame being substantially open at the top and at least partially open at the bottom. The system also includes a compliant bag-like member which is large enough to line the entire inside of the frame and overlap at least some of the outside of the frame at its top, and which spans the frame bottom, to define an interior yard waste collection volume. The compliant member has a substantial number of openings to allow rain water to pass therethrough.

Abstract: A refuse bag holder comprising a pair of relatively moveable bag-supporting members that expand to spread the open end of a refuse bag and hold it open and taut, and retract toward each other to release the filled bag. The bag holder a frame has a pair of tubular members of inverted U-shape in the upright position of the frame. The bight portions of the U-shaped frame members can be moved toward and away from each other, and serve as bag-top supporting members for the material surrounding the open end of a plastic refuse bag. The open end of an empty refuse bag is pulled upwardly between the bight portions, and then draped loosely over them while they are close enough together so that the plastic bag material is slack. The bight portions can then be expanded to spread the bag top and hold it open for receiving refuse. In the case of paper bags, the bag-supporting members also include removable tension members, in the form of flat, elongated blades of resilient material, that project from the bight portions.

Abstract: Bulk bag loop retainers used in conjunction with bulk bag lifting frames. Each retainer includes opposed retainer plates secured to the lifting frame. The plates are shaped and dimensioned and aligned relative to one another to define a non-linear passage into a retainment area which receives and retains the bag loop.

Abstract: A pair of posts each with a double stake peg element at the bottom are staked into penetrable ground with one stake on each post through a bottom edge of an opening in a flexible bag. An adjustable clamp slides on each post to secure the top of the opening. Two peg receptacles hold down a bottom edge of the opening, with the peg element inserted in penetrable ground or supported above impenetrable ground. A double-ramped portal element or a flexible mat secured between the peg receptacles covers the bottom edge of the bag opening. A mesh bag allows the use of a blower to fill the bag without ballooning. Grommets around the opening of the mesh bag can receive the stakes therethrough.

Abstract: A pair of posts with double stake bottoms are staked into penetrable ground with one stake on each post through a bottom edge of an opening in a flexible bag. Adjustable pressure clasps slide on the posts to a desired height to secure the top of the opening, enabling any size bag to be used. A flat flexible mat with a beveled edge covers the bottom edge of the opening allowing material to pass smoothly from the ground into the bag. Ground mount stands receive the double stakes and provide a wide base plate to support the posts on impenetrable ground surfaces. A mesh bag allows the use of a blower to fill the bag without ballooning. Grommets around the opening of the mesh bag can receive the stakes therethrough.

Abstract: A rigid yard refuse bag liner for insertion into a yard refuse bag for supporting the yard refuse bag in an open condition. The rigid yard refuse bag liner is an elongated enclosure having an open bottom and having a tapered construction such that its bottom portion is wider than its top portion, which facilitates the removal of the rigid liner once the refuse bag liner/refuse bag are filled with yard refuse. To further facilitate this removal, air vents running through the enclosure permit the passage of air as the rigid liner is lifted upward, out of the yard bag. A compactor is associated with the rigid liner whereby the compactor is a planar surface coupled to a handle that the user can grasp and apply pressure to in order to compact the yard refuse that has already been collected.
