Adjustable Patents (Class 251/285)
  • Patent number: 11953103
Abstract: At a preparing stage, a tool is placed in contact with an inner wall of a rotation transmitting portion of an adjustment screw. Then, at an adjustment rotation amount calculating stage, a pre-adjustment oil pressure, which is an output oil pressure of an oil pressure control valve at a pre-adjustment rotational position of the adjustment screw under a predetermined drive condition of a drive device, is sensed, and thereafter an adjustment rotation amount of the adjustment screw from the pre-adjustment rotational position to a target rotational position of the adjustment screw, which corresponds to a target oil pressure, is calculated based on: a differential pressure between the pre-adjustment oil pressure and the target oil pressure; and a correction amount which corresponds to a product characteristic of the oil pressure control valve. Then, at a rotating stage, the adjustment screw is rotated by the adjustment rotation amount.

  • Patent number: 11873914
Abstract: A buffer valve is installed on a pneumatic diaphragm valve. An inner flow channel of the buffer valve includes an inner micro gas hole, an inner chamber, an outer gas hole, and a floating ball. The buffer valve has functions with a high-filling action, a shielding action, a releasing action, a shielding time ?t, and an adjusting mechanism. When inflatable, the floating ball will not block the inner micro hole to be quickly filled with high-pressure gas. when gas discharge, the floating ball will move to the outer gas hole with the gas flow and produce the shielding action to reduce the discharge rate to reduce the vibration and slow down the approach speed of the diaphragm to reduce the impact against the valve seat. When the pressure of the gas decreases, the floating ball is separated from the outer gas hole by the releasing action to accelerate the discharge.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hand valve with a valve main body and a spindle movably arranged therein in at least in one actuating direction which can be adjusted for actuating the hand valve by means of a hand wheel arranged on the spindle in its position relative to the valve main body together with the hand wheel. The hand valve has a stroke limitation for the spindle with a stopper element which is adjustable in its position with respect to the valve main body. The invention is characterized in that the stroke limitation has a holding device for the stopper element which is held rotatable with the hand wheel, but fixed in its position to the valve main body in the actuating direction of the spindle at the valve main body.

Abstract: A valve having an improved multiple position notch plate providing a large number of selectable valve positions with enhanced strength, including in the travel stop limiting the range of movement of the valve handle connected to the valve member. The notch plate includes a plurality of intermediate notches extending only partially through a radial outer periphery thereof, at spaced locations along an arcuate path of movement of a detent element in connection with the valve handle. In one embodiment, the intermediate notches are disposed in radial outer tips of fingers defining a plurality of through notches extending completely through the notch plate, also for receiving the detent element for holding the handle. As a result a greater number of valve positions can be achieved, with robustness and strength to withstand hammer blows, kicking and the like.

By way of example and not limitation, for real biomass/fuel burning fireplaces, the gas valve may be opened to its maximum level with a quarter turn of a handle. In contrast, for fake fireplaces, which require more gas flow compared to real fireplaces, the gas valve may be opened to its maximum level with a half turn of the handle. The maximum gas flow through the gas valve may be set during installation such that the user does not need to manually determine the appropriate amount of gas during use.

  • Patent number: 8375982
Abstract: A hydraulic manifold has features adapted to the needs of hybrid vehicle applications. In one embodiment, multifunction valves selectively regulate fluid flow among primary and auxiliary flow paths. A normally closed butterfly valve is biased by a relatively small secondary biasing force against rotation in first and second (opposite) directions, and by a relatively large principal biasing force against rotation in the first direction past a transitional angular position at which the principal biasing force takes effect. An actuator selectively controls the transitional angular position and the magnitude of the principal biasing force. In the first direction, flow must overcome only the secondary biasing force to pass the valve. In the second direction, any flow sufficient to overcome the secondary biasing force but not the principal biasing force will divide into a first flow passing the valve and a second flow induced to enter an auxiliary path upstream.
