Abstract: A card game of Blackjack including a novel side wager. If a Player has made the side wager, two dice are rolled. If the sum of the two rolled dice is 2, 3 or 12, the side bet is automatically lost similar to the Come-Out roll in the game of craps. If the dice sum is 7 or 11, the side bet is automatically won. If the dice sum is anything other, a Point is established. As in traditional Blackjack, each Player is dealt two cards face up, and the Dealer is dealt two cards—one face up. A Player wins the side bet if one of their dealt cards has a face value equal to the Point, or if the sum of their dealt cards equals the Point. Several variations on the basic game method are described. According to one variation, the side wager is resolved uniformly for all Players that have made the optional side wager based on the Dealer's initial up card or on the Dealer's first two cards when both are revealed.

Abstract: A clear acrylic tube construction sealed on both ends is disclosed with a series of small acrylic rods that run through the center of the tube at approximately even intervals. These rods are disclosed to lie in parallel planes and positions to the linear axis of the tube so that they create a helix, spiraling down the length of the tube. Finally, the die or dice to be used for the game are disclosed to be sealed inside the tube. When it is a player's turn to “roll the dice,” said player simply flips the tube over. The dice tumble down the helix of acrylic rods and fall onto the landing surface at the base of the tube. The design of the invention guarantees a random outcome every time.

  • Publication number: 20110124398
Abstract: In a card and dice game, dice are rolled to provide a die value between 2 and 12, inclusive, according to this embodiment. After the player makes a wager, a card is dealt face up, thereby displaying a card value of 1 to 13, inclusive. The player wins the wager if the card value is less than the die value and if the die value is less than a predetermined value. Similarly the player wins the wager if the card value is greater than the die value and if the die value is greater than the predetermined value. Otherwise the player loses the wager. If there is a tie (i.e., if the die value and the card value are equal), then one half (½) of the wager is returned to the player unless dice doubles were rolled, in which case the entire wager is returned.

  • Publication number: 20110109041
Abstract: A card and dice game allows a player to bet on the outcome of a comparison of a numerical value determined by a roll of one or more dice and another numerical value determined by a card drawn from a deck. The player wagers that the difference between the card value and the dice value will be greater than or equal to a predetermined amount whereupon the wager wins. If the difference between the card value and the dice value is less than the predetermined amount, the wager loses. The payout on the wager has the potential of being a high multiple of the bet amount, depending upon the magnitude of the difference between the card value and the die value, where greater magnitudes result in larger payouts.

Abstract: The dice gaming machine accepts a bet on a bet area and a bet on an intermediate area between/among a plurality of bet areas. After ending the bet acceptance, it starts rolling dice. After the rolling of the dice has been stopped, the dice gaming machine identifies a winning bet area based on the dice rolling result. A payout amount for each terminal is calculated based on the identified winning bet area, the bet area or the intermediate area on which the bet is accepted, and a payout magnification ratio set for the bet area or the intermediate area.

Abstract: A betting game employing a game board and a cylindrical die with a plurality of flat surfaces, or faces, about its circumference that is spun like a top on a pointed bottom and allowed to spin until it falls to rest with a face upwardly directed that corresponds to a consequence indicated on the game board. Typically, a token is placed on a selective section of the game board that corresponds to a die face, typically by a same numeric designation. If the upwardly directed face corresponds to the section in which a token has been placed a payout is made. If a token placed bridging two adjacent sections, a payout of a lesser amount is also made. Two or more colors, but fewer colors than die faces, may be included on the die and game board. Thus, a bet can also be placed on which color will be found on the upwardly directed die face. A color bet is typically done by use of a same colored token or a token on a same colored section of the game board.
