    Abstract: A method of conducting a wagering game using dice is disclosed. The method is ideally suited for video-based machines or Internet-based applications. However, it may be conducted in a live environment. Dice comprising multiple characteristics (e.g., values and colors) are used to generate random outcomes. Players may place wagers on value outcomes and color outcomes. Multiple groups of distinct dice may be used to create a game matrix having multiple pay lines which afford players multiple wager options. In one electronic version five dice are used. A player places a wager and then four of the five dice values are generated and revealed. With four of the five values known, possible winning outcomes are highlighted from a pay table listing all winning outcomes. In this version, there are always possible winning outcomes after four of the five dice have been revealed. Bonus trigger outcomes are also discussed.

    Abstract: The invention is a game for two or more players comprised of twelve dice, a cup for shaking and rolling the dice, a score card and game instructions/rules of play. In each round of preferably nine rounds each player in sequence can roll the dice up to three times to complete the dice combination called for in the rules for that given round, referred to as a round goal. When a player achieves a round goal, scoring is based upon the count of the face numbers on the three or more dice required to complete the round goal. A player that fails to achieve the round goal in a particular round scores a zero if that objective is not achieved in three rolls of the dice. The rules provide for the number of dice to be rolled in each round.

One embodiment provides a low portion which allows a player to wager that a two, three, four, five, or six will be thrown on the next roll of the dice during play of a craps game and a high portion which allows a player to wager that an eight, a nine, ten, eleven, or twelve will thrown on the next roll of the dice during play of a craps game. The payout received by a wagering player is determined according to the bet placed and the method by which the desired numbers are thrown on the next roll.

    Abstract: A multiplayer game in which players are dealt cards from a deck of game cards having indicia thereon corresponding to combinations typically used in the traditional Yahtzee game that are to be matched by the dice rolls of the players. During the course of a player's turn, the player actuates an instruction unit to start a timer setting a time limit within which the player rolls the dice multiple times in an effort to match one of the combinations on the cards in the player's hand. If the player matches a combination on one of the cards, the player actuates the instruction unit a second time to stop the timer and to receive a win instruction from the instruction unit. If the player does not match any of the combinations on the cards within the time limit, the instruction unit outputs a loss instruction to be followed by the player. The sequence may continue until one player has discarded all of the game cards in the player's hand onto the discard pile.

    Abstract: Disclosed, is a new bet for the game of Craps referred to as “spot bets” wherein a player places a bet that one or both of the dice will show up with a certain number of spots on its upward face. The spot bet combines turn bets and hopper bets, except in this case one individual bet takes the place of 6 separate bets. The player can bet on the 2 spot, for example, and this takes place of individual turning bets on the 1-2, the 3-2, the 4-2, the 5-2 and the 6-2 and a hopper bet on the 2-2. Furthermore, the player can make analogous spot bets on the 1-spot, the 3-spot, the 4-spot, the 5-spot, and/or the 6-spot. Another option is the small spot bet wherein the player is betting on 5 separate numbers, none of which adds to 7. The player can bet on the 2 “small spot”, for example, and this takes place of individual turning bets on the 1-2, the 3-2, the 4-2, and the 6-2 and a hopper bet on the 2-2.
