Abstract: An enclosure for enclosing a flat panel display for viewing that is substantially sealed and resistant to liquid ingress. The enclosure comprises a bezel, a substantially transparent front cover, and an enclosure housing. The bezel has a peripheral surface defining an enclosure area, an inner edge defining a display opening, and a rear surface. The substantially transparent front cover is operatively connected to the bezel and covers the display opening. The enclosure housing has a front opening and a flange disposed about and extending from the front opening. The bezel and the enclosure housing are joined together at a joining region that is substantially sealed and resistant to liquid ingress. The bezel, the front cover, and the enclosure housing define the enclosure, which is configured to receive a flat panel display therein.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a front case for assembling with a display module of an LCD device, and the front case is a hollow shell body formed by four side plates, the front case comprising: an inner baffle plate and an outer baffle plate mutually parallel and perpendicularly extended from both sides of each of the side plates, and the inner baffle plate and the outer baffle plate are disposed at the same surface of the front case; multiple hooks disposed on one of the side plates for fixing to the display module; and multiple compensation plates disposed at the inner baffle plate corresponding to the side plate having the hooks for compensating a curve bending caused by assembly of the hooks and the display module so that a contact surface between the front case and a display panel of the display module is flat. The present invention also provides an LCD device using the above front case.

The back frame comprises a loading surface used for loading the back plate and a plurality of side edges disposed around the loading surface, and the side edges of the back frame is fixed and connected to the front frame. The back plate is disposed on the loading surface of the back frame. The back plate comprises a back plate body and a plurality of side walls protruded on each of side edges of the back plate body. The front frame and the side walls of the back plate are fixed and connected by the fixing member, so as to fix and connect the front frame and back plate.

A television lift assembly includes an enclosure including a housing having an opening, and a cover engageable with the housing to seal the opening; and a lift device including a first portion mounted in the enclosure, and a movable portion including a first end movably coupled to the first portion, an attachment portion configured to removably attach a television thereto, and a second end, the cover being attached to the second end, and the movable portion of the lift device being movable between a first position within the housing and in which the cover seals the opening for storing the television in the weatherproof enclosure, and a second position outside the housing for supporting the television in a viewable position.

The second engagement face faces the first engagement face of the engagement recess. The guide face is arranged such that the guide face gradually deforms the end part of the top wall portion of the attachment cover away from the top face of the top plate upon installation of the attachment member relative to the attachment cover.

Abstract: A video display or screen cover which is preferably of a scale for covering large video walls (combinations of multiple video screens, such as in a matrix). The video display cover is for large screens and as such includes a series of coils and cords to fasten a transparent cover over a large expanse with sufficient surface tension to withstand contacts and blows from people and objects. The transparent cover is attached to a frame and the tension of the coils and cords applies surface tension to the surface of the transparent cover. The frame is preferably metal and sturdy and further has brackets to mount it to a wall.

Abstract: A method for making a heatsink device to be incorporated into a backlight module of a liquid crystal display device is provided and the method comprises the steps of: a) providing a hollowed tube having a substantially rectangular cross section, and the tube including a first support portion, a second supporting, a first vertical section, and a second vertical section interlinked with each other; and b) cutting the hollowed tube along the first and second vertical sections along a longitudinal direction such that first heatsink unit configured with the first supporting portion and the first vertical section, and a second heatsink unit configured with the second supporting portion and the second vertical section are created. The disclosure of the present invention can readily reduce material cost, while promotes the design of light, slim and compact of the product.

Abstract: A pivoting device especially useful in aircraft passenger cabins that can pivot a monitor between stowed and open positions, the pivoting device including a forward/reverse rotatable driving motor. An electromagnetic brake holds the monitor in stowed and opened positions A power unit powers the motor and the electromagnetic brake. A controller controls the pivoting movement of the monitor. The power unit includes a rectifier circuit that transforms AC to a DC, a step-up circuit that steps up the transformed voltage, a voltage regulator that adjusts the transformed voltage to a prescribed DC voltage, and a retraction power retention circuit including a capacitor. When no source voltage is detected while the monitor is in its opened state, the capacitor supplies the power to a voltage regulator of the power circuit, deactivates the electromagnetic brake and reverse rotates the motor to drive the monitor to its stowed position.

The frame is produced from a flat profile element which has multiple set bending points which serve to establish the corner regions of the frame. On its inside, the frame has an inner channel into which a heat-dissipating element is inserted in such a way that it serves to transmit heat from the housing interior to the frame.

Abstract: A backplate assembly for accommodating and positioning an optical unit, comprising: a backplate, a plurality of cone-shaped holes, and a plurality of positioning columns. The backplate includes a plate and a vertical lateral side which vertically surrounds the plate. The cone-shaped holes are formed in the backplate. The positioning columns are protruding from the first surface for positioning the optical unit. Each positioning column has a column body part and a ring-shaped head part forming on an end of the column body. An external diameter of the ring-shaped head part is smaller than a diameter of the column body. The ring-shaped head part of each optical unit column inserts into each cone-shaped hole through the first opening by an external force and engages with the cone-shaped hole, such that the positioning column is fixed in the backplate.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to pieces of furniture for housing electronic devices and that give the appearance of being permanently built into a wall. The pieces of furniture comprise panels which can easily be removed and which house and hide wires of electronic devices, giving the appearance that the wires are housed beyond the wall. Additionally, the pieces of furniture are designed to have electronic devices mounted thereon with little mounting (i.e., studs are unnecessary) or no mounting to secure the piece of furniture onto the wall.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a front frame, a method for making the front frame, and a liquid crystal display device incorporated with the front frame. The method includes the steps of a) providing, an elongate metallic strip having head and tail and divided by cutting three predetermined V-cuts to divide into four interconnected sections; b) conducting a rolling process along a central line of the metallic strip such that an angled strip having a top surface and a skirt perpendicular the top surface is formed, wherein the V-cuts are located on the top surface; c) folding the angled strip centered on each of the V-cuts ninety (90) degrees such that each individual section is perpendicular to each other so as to configure a rectangular frame; and d) interconnecting the head and the tail of the angled strip to configure a rigid front frame. The metallic strip is transformed into an angled strip angled strip by means of rolling, and then folded, interconnected so as to configure the front frame.

Abstract: The display stand assembly for a tablet computer or the like has a support structure and a device holder assembly secured to the support structure. The device holder assembly includes a housing which defines an insert cavity sized larger than the device. At least one insert is positionable within the insert cavity and defines a device cavity sized to receive the device. A face plate with an optional separate frame is securable to the housing over the insert(s) and device, to secure the device and show the display screen while denying physical access to parts of the device. In one alternative embodiment, at least one mounting plate is provided in the housing, and each insert is positionable in any one of a number of positions on the mounting plate(s), thus permitting standardization of the inserts regardless of the electronic device being used. The insert(s) may include a platform which is adjustable in height to accommodate different device thicknesses.

Abstract: The invention provides an LCD module and a frame thereof. The frame comprises a plurality of segmented pieces constituting the frame; the frame comprises a front frame, and a middle frame; the structure of the segmented piece(s) constituting the front frame is the same as that of the segmented piece(s) constituting the middle frame. Because the front frame and the middle frame of the LCD module of the invention are comprised of a plurality of segmented pieces of the same structure, the segmented pieces constituting the front frame can be superposed outside the segmented pieces constituting the middle frame, and then the front frame and middle frame of different sizes can be respectively formed. Thus, because the segmented pieces constituting the front frame and middle frame are of the same structure, the segmented pieces can be produced by only one mold, and the front frame and the middle frame can be produced just by the same mold, thereby saving the production cost.

Abstract: A frame for a field monitor includes a front panel having a central opening, and a rear panel attached to the front panel in adjacent, spaced-apart relationship to define a receptacle for receiving and supporting a field monitor therein. The receptacle includes a substantially open periphery which provides access to cable ports and other controls on the monitor. The rear panel includes opposite first and second sides and a plurality of legs extending outwardly from the first side. Each leg is attached to the front panel so as to maintain the front and rear panels in adjacent, spaced-apart relationship. The rear panel and plurality of legs extending outwardly therefrom are a single, unitary body of material.

Abstract: A display device and its assembly method are provided. The display device includes a panel module, a fixing frame and two hinge elements. The fixing frame is provided with two supports and two hinge brackets collectively assembled to be the fixing frame having a hollow portion therein, and each of the hinge brackets includes a placement surface and a hinge contact portion connected with one of the hinge elements. The panel module covers the hollow portion, and is secured on the fixing frame in which the panel module is supported by a placement surface.

Abstract: An in-field replaceable glass assembly for an electronic display placed within a housing is disclosed. The housing preferably contains a hanger at the top of the housing, where the glass assembly contains a frame surrounding a pane of glass and having a top and bottom. A tab is preferably placed at the top of the frame and adapted to hold the glass assembly in place when slipped over the hanger on the housing. The glass assembly also contains a means for attaching the bottom of the frame to the housing. In some embodiments this means is a threaded post which extends from the frame and passing through a portion of the housing. A nut may be tightened against the post. In other embodiments a threaded fastener may pass through the housing and thread into a female threaded hole within the frame.

Abstract: Furniture, namely a footboard for a bed, including a means for concealing a display stand and an object affixed thereto, such as a television. The footboard includes a stationary frame and a slidable frame that is affixed to the display stand and vertically slides with respect to the stationary frame. The footboard conceals the display stand when in a descended position. When a user lifts the display stand to an ascended position, the display stand and the television are substantially exposed for viewing. Controlled sliding with the appropriate tension is provided by use of a counterbalance system in combination with a sliding track system.
