Abstract: The configuration buffer may be divided into partitions that may effectively function as multiple linked configuration buffers. The linked partitions may each be associated with a portion of the display pipeline (e.g., an image process block) and may each be responsible for loading configuration entries into the programmable register(s) of a portion of the display pipeline. In this manner, the partitions may load the associated programmable register(s) of the display pipeline substantially simultaneously, reducing the time used to configure the entire display pipeline. Since configuration of the display pipeline may occur during the blanking period, a reduction in display pipeline configuration time may reduce the blanking period and increase the time for driving pixels of the display, thereby improving perceived image quality (e.g., pixel yield of the display panel).

  • Patent number: 10853976
Abstract: A user interface adaptation module identifies a dominant color of a portion selection of a frame of a video and, based on the dominant color, generates colors for components of a user interface in which the video is displayed. The colors of the user interface components are set based upon the generated colors and upon context information such as a playing state of the video. The setting of the component colors in this way allows the user interface to adjust to complement both the played content of the video and the video's context. In one embodiment, the dominant color is identified by partitioning individual pixels of the portion selection based on their respective colors. In one embodiment, a set of primary color variants is generated based on the dominant color, and different colors are generated for each type of user interface component based on the different primary color variants.

  • Patent number: 10832376
Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media are disclosed for applying piecewise deformations to digital content using a plurality of parametric patches. For example, the disclosed system generates a plurality of parametric patches (e.g., Bezier patches) within a parametric quilt for digital content (e.g., a digital image or digital text). The disclosed system also provides interface controls for user-defined split/patch locations for the parametric quilt. In one or more embodiments, the disclosed system divides digital content into a plurality of portions. The disclosed system modifies one or more parametric patches and deforms a corresponding portion(s) of the digital content based on the modified parametric patch(es). The disclosed system then recombines the portions of the digital content to generate modified digital content that includes any deformations based on the modified parametric patch(es).
