Abstract: The disclosed photographic enlarger has a vertically movable head portion which includes a housing for a light source and a mounting for a negative which can be moved together in a horizontal plane by virtue of being suspended from a pair of carriage members which move horizontally, in linear paths, at right angles to each other.
Abstract: The hinged image holder of a photographic enlarger has its upper portion loosely attached to the lamp housing so that it is automatically opened for inserting and removing original images when the lamp housing is moved away from the rest of the enlarger. The lamp housing may be hinged or move parallel to the rest of the enlarger. The upper part of the holder is loosely attached to the lamp housing by variously shaped clips or slots which engage corresponding portions on the lamp housing.

Abstract: An automatic focussing attachment for photographic enlargers for lengthening and shortening the length of the enlarger bellows to automatically focus the lens as the enlarger is raised and lowered to vary the size of the image. A pivoted link of variable effective length has one end connected to a point fixed with respect to the base of the enlarger and the opposite end portion connected to the focussing knob of the enlarger so that as the enlarger is raised and lowered on its support column the focussing knob will be rotated to maintain the focus of the lens. The variable effective length link has several forms including a plurality of pivoted leaves and a sliding telescoping mounting.
Abstract: A reproduction camera having a movable table which at two adjacent corners is guided in two vertical guides on the frame of the camera and moved by an endless cord which is passed over cord pulleys arranged above and below said guides, the endless cord being further passed over a winding drum and connected to the said movable table in such manner that the two connecting points are moved in the same direction when the cord is moved, whereby a very exact translatory movement of the table is obtained by a very simple mechanism which is easy to manufacture and to operate.
