Abstract: A folding toilet step stool includes a seat cushion ring and an elevated ladder. The elevated ladder includes a left support rod, a right support rod, a bottom plate and a pedal. The front portion of the seat cushion ring is hinged to the upper portion of the left support rod and the upper portion of the right support rod. The bottom of the left support rod and the bottom of the right support rod are hinged to the bottom plate. The pedal is hinged between the middle of the left support rod and the middle of the right support rod. The left support rod and the right rod are disposed obliquely. The bottom plate is placed on the floor and the seat cushion ring is placed on the toilet, so that children can sit on the seat cushion ring with their feet on the pedal for urination or defecation.

A drain pan can be disposed under the toilet bowl and in fluid communication with the toilet bowl. A diversion plate can be disposed in the housing under the toilet bowl. A liquid waste bottle can be removably disposed in the housing. The liquid waste bottle in fluid can be in communication with the drain pan and configured to receive liquid waste from the drain pan. A composting bin can be disposed in the enclosed cavity of the housing. The composting bin can be adjacent to and in communication with the diversion plate.

Abstract: A toilet trainer assembly is provided, having components which compactly fit together efficiently for shipping and stowing while also providing an improved experience for a child during use. The toilet trainer features a base member, a toilet seat, and a compartment which resembles a traditional toilet tank. The base member provides a hollow interior configured to be sized and shaped to fit the compartment and the toilet seat within when stowed. A flush mechanism provided on the toilet tank is configured to produce various sounds when activated.

Abstract: A portable restroom system provides multiple restroom units and an arrangement which allows the size of the system to be reduced for easy storage and transportation. The system includes a first restroom array, a second restroom array, a water-supply manifold, and a waste-removal manifold. The first restroom array and the second restroom array each preferably provide at least four restroom units. The first restroom array and the second restroom array are structurally arranged to allow retractability of the walls, the ceilings, and the floors of the restroom units in order to allow the system to be easily stored and transported when not in use. The water-supply manifold provides clean water to the associated restroom units of the first restroom array and the second restroom array. The waste-removal manifold removes any waste produced after use of the associated restroom units of the first restroom array and the second restroom array.

At least one of the posts is hollow. A plurality of side wall panels are provided between the posts and also between the roof and the floor. Abstract: A toilet apparatus has a waste material receiving bowl with an opening to receive an absorbent media and indicator and a sensor to detect a presence of the indicator in the material receiving bowl when the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl and transmit a signal indicating the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl. A control circuit receives the signal from the sensor, processes the signal to determine the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl, and causes one or more actions to be taken by the toilet apparatus based on determining the indicator is present in the material receiving bowl.

Abstract: A portable toilet is disclosed that has a base and a housing with the base and the housing being configured to be stored and transported to a site as a stack of bases and a stack of housings. The toilet is assembled by telescopically installed one of the housings onto a base where the upwardly extending walls of the base are received within the walls of the housing and where the housing is preferably snap locked to the base. The housing may be disassembled from its base by deflecting one of the housing walls outwardly. A method of storing, transporting and assembling such a portable toilet is also disclosed.

A system for collecting the bio-waste material also is provided. The system includes a plurality of collection receptacles associated with a structure, each of the plurality of collection receptacles receiving the bio-waste material without the use of water as a carrier. A transport network extends from each of the plurality of collection receptacles to at least one storage receptacle located at the structure. A plurality of vehicles, or carts, is disposed within the transport network and collect the bio-waste material.

A pedal operatively couples the lid with respect to the coupling component. A spring has a first end operatively coupled with respect to the pedal and a second end operatively coupled with respect to the coupling component. When a user steps on the pedal, the lid will rotate upwardly to the open orientation. When a user removes a foot from the pedal, the spring will rotate the lid to the closed orientation.

Abstract: A combination toilet and stool/table is disclosed. This structure includes opposing and parallel front and rear walls, along with opposing and parallel side walls. The side walls are capable of folding so that the structure can be portable. A foldable seat is attached to the rear wall and is secured to the structure by securing tabs located along the top edge of the side walls, along with a front safety-lock tab securing the front edge of the foldable seat with the front wall. A bag for receiving waste, garbage and other items can be placed within the interior of the structure. Access to the bag is through an opening in the foldable seat. The foldable seat includes a lid that can be moved between an open position and a closed position.

Abstract: A commode chair is provided that includes a seat having a central hole and a frame on which the seat is mountable. The frame includes at least three leg connectors. The commode chair also includes at least three legs in which each of the legs is configured to be removably connected to a respective one of the leg connectors. The commode chair further includes at least three leg extenders in which each of the leg extenders is configured to be slideably connected to a respective one of the legs. In an embodiment, the frame and leg assemblies can be simply and easily assembled and disassembled. The components can be stacked with, and/or attached to, each other to reduce the space occupied by the disassembled commode chair, thereby lowering storage and transportation costs.

Abstract: A portable restroom is designed to provide features which enhance the comfort and appeal to users. These features include a rigid and stable structure, including a rigid floor structure, thus providing a sense of security to the user. Further, flushing and fresh water capabilities are achieved by using a dual tank structure made capable by the base design itself. This dual tank structure is achieved utilizing a unique siphoning pump to provide appropriate functionality.

Abstract: A combination dumpster and portable toilet system is disclosed and described. The housing provides an enclosure for collection of refuse. The housing also provides for secure stowage of portable toilets to and from a worksite, as well as protection of the portable toilets from falling debris, theft and vandalism.

Abstract: A waste removal system is provided that includes a pipe structure of a building and a portable waste receptacle. The pipe structure has an end that forms a roof vent and another end opening toward a sewer. The portable waste receptacle is in removable fluid communication with the pipe structure of the building structure via the roof vent. The system optionally includes a privacy apparatus that has a curtain capable of at least partially surrounding the waste removal device.

Abstract: A survival kit for use in disaster areas where there is a loss of sanitation facilities. The kit is a watertight container that includes one or more survival kit items including food and water and in addition includes a packet containing a chemical toilet composition. After the survival kit items are removed, the container is used as a chemical toilet. For this purpose the top of the container has a commode opening and a cover the releaseably seals the opening.

Abstract: One embodiment of elastic toilet bowl having an O-shaped ring (25) which is joined at its inside edge with a bowl (26). The bowl (26) made of an elastic material so that it can return quickly to its original state after being repetitively stretched. In addition, a lip (27) which is joined at the edge of bowl (26) to hide view of inside of waste holding tank and stops odors and gases from backing into the portable restroom. Abstract: A portable composting toilet system has a compartmentalized receptacle for receiving human waste, a gray-water circulation subsystem for circulating gray water formed by mixing water with waste through the compartmentalized receptacle to promote mixing of the waste to thereby accelerate digestion of the waste, and an air-circulation subsystem for emitting air bubbles into a sludge formed at a bottom of the compartmentalized receptacle to break up the sludge to thereby accelerate digestion of the waste. The air circulation subsystem can include an air-driven pump that causes the gray water to circulate while allowing feeding pressurized air to diffuser loops in each compartment to create sludge-breaking bubbles. This portable composting toilet system so efficiently decomposes waste that the maintenance costs of hauling residual sludge to the surface (when the toilet is used underground in a mine) is significantly lower than for conventional toilets, thus providing substantial cost savings to mine operators.

Abstract: A collapsible enclosure that can be selectively moved from a raised position to a lowered position such that when the enclosure is in the raised position it provides a privacy enclosure or for housing a temporary restroom facility. When the enclosure is in the lowered position, it is easily stackable for transportation and storage. The new enclosure is entirely self-contained with no loose pieces or part that need to be assembled. The installation can be performed by a single individual with a minimal number of tools, or possibly no tools at all. The collapsible enclosure includes a top section that has a roof, a top wall member, and a top door panel, a middle section that has a middle wall member and a middle door panel, and a bottom section that has a base, a bottom wall member, and a bottom door panel.

Abstract: A molded plastic skid base for a resin building is formed with all of its openings facing downward and with runners integral with a deck that forms a floor of the base. Replaceable wear plates cover the bottoms of the runners and have truck loading notches molded at their ends and a longitudinal channel in which fastener heads are positioned. Stake down slots are provided in the ends of the runners and wear plates in a diagonal orientation so as to be aligned toward the center of the building, below the base. The floor of the base is a grid formed of diagonally oriented ribs, at least some of which may be shorter in their center than at their ends, is crowned in the center and has openings which taper upwardly. A solid sheet may be placed over the grid to close it.

Excreted urine falls onto the front slope of the divider to flow through the front guide way into the front waste pipe, and is treated and discharged; and excreted stools fall onto the rear slope of the divider and are sucked by the vacuum sucker to move through the rear guide way and the rear waste pipe into the waste collecting bag, which is then removed, frozen, and stored for incinerating or using as fertilizer or fuel later.

Abstract: A urine disposing apparatus and method utilizes a cart-like structure to permit a bed-ridden patient to utilize a single urinal for multiple urinations. Following each use, the contents of the urinal are poured into a director, from which they empty into a receptacle located within the disposing apparatus. The empty urinal may then be re-used and emptied as needed. After a period of use, a caregiver may remove the receptacle, clean the component portions of the apparatus as required, and re-position the apparatus and empty urinal for use by the patient.

Abstract: An apparatus for dissolving filth treatment bags formed by hot water soluble films in a dissolving tub is disclosed. The apparatus includes a pipe for inputting hot water for dissolving the filth bag storing filth by stirring action of the hot water therefrom, a pipe for outputting vapor including odor generated by a mixture of the filth and the hot water in the dissolving tub, the vapor being generated on a shifting process from a state where the film is divided and collapsed to a stage where the film is dissolved, and a mechanism for cooling the heated wastewater including the dissolved filth bag and the hot water in the dissolving tub and outputting the wastewater into a sewer pipe from the dissolving tub.

Abstract: An advertisement display system, for use with a plurality of existing portable toilets arranged side-to-side with a gap between the toilets, for providing a substantially continuous advertising presentation. The system comprises a plurality of bracket assemblies each of which are selectively vertically attached along a corner of the toilet, and a plurality of substantially rectangular advertising panel assemblies which are selectively inserted between adjacent pairs of the bracket assemblies. The bracket assemblies include a plurality of intermediary bracket assemblies which are selectively mounted to the corners of the intermediary toilets in the series. A projecting portion of the intermediary bracket assembly extends beyond the side of the toilet to which it is attached. Accordingly, the advertising panel inserted into a vertical channel within the projecting portion also extends into the gap, thereby allowing the advertising display system to appear to be a single, continuous advertising panel.

Abstract: A method and system for separating human waste solids from liquid for a shipboard toilet system that allows for the separation of solid waste, compaction of the solid waste and storage of solid waste. Wastes are deposited into a shipboard toilet system that uses vacuum toilets to flush waste into a large, inclined solid waste separation tank. A vacuum pump is attached to the separation tank to maintain negative pressure within the tank and system and to move the separated liquid stream. The separation tank has a separating screen disposed across its entire width to retain solid wastes while allowing liquid to flow through. After separation from liquids, solid waste material is compacted and dewatered with a helical screw through an inclined tube, and packaged for later removal as landfill or burned in the ship incinerator.
