Abstract: A method for processing a separation and rupture portion of a display label is a method for forming, on the display label attached to an attachment target object, the separation and rupture portion for rupturing the display label upon separation of the display label from the attachment target object. This method includes attaching, to the attachment target object, the display label having a back side on which an adhesive layer is formed, and then forming a slit serving as the separation and rupture portion on the display label.

Abstract: A label assembly that includes a face sheet with at least one label shape defined by one or more tearable lines of separation, a back sheet adjacent to the face sheet, and an adhesive material disposed between the face sheet and the back sheet. The back sheet has a multi-portion removable panel disposed over the label shape adhesive material and a registration structure in one of the portions of the removable panel and aligned with an other portion and the label shape. The registration structure is raised or raisable above the back sheet to allow an object for labeling to be positioned against the registration structure for proper alignment with a first portion of the label.

Abstract: A marketing sign is constructed of a sheet material. The sheet material includes a free portion, a base portion and a connecting portion that couples the base portion to the free portion. The base portion is configured to engage with a product display structure, which has a price holder. The connecting portion is defined between a first connecting bend line spaced apart from a second connecting bend line by a distance. The distance substantially corresponds with an edge thickness of the price holder.

Abstract: A multilayered application label includes a front layer which has primary and supplemental information printed thereon and respectively viewable from opposite sides thereof, and a rear layer which has extended information printed thereon. The front layer includes a clear base film with a clear protective overcoat over a front surface and a clear adhesive on a rear surface. The supplemental information can be reverse printed on the front surface of the clear base film and the primary information can be printed on a white coating covering the supplemental information. The rear layer includes a white base film with a transparent release layer thereover and an adhesive undercoat. The extended information can be printed on the front surface of the rear layer and is exposed with peeling back of the front layer.

Abstract: The method includes a fastener to aid and enhance the door to door distribution and functionality of advertisements. The advertisements, such as flyers, door hangers, booklets, brochures and the like, are used by advertisers to communicate information, services, and special offers to the public. The advertisement can be a sheet of flexible or rigid material, including a first planar surface, and a hole to accommodate the fastener. In another embodiment, this advertisement could initially be blank with the intention of the advertiser printing their own information on the advertisement. The fastener incorporated in the method, is used to securely attach the advertisement to a door knob, or other protrusion, during door to door distribution. The fastener design has a circular portion that may be stretched to fit around a door knob securely attaching the advertisement to the door.

Abstract: Provided is a label generated on-demand for identifying a medicinal substance to be administered to a patient. The label includes a content surface on which label content is printed on-demand by a computer printer. The label content includes information required by a medical labeling standard. An adhesive surface is provided to be applied against a container for storing the medicinal substance and adhering the label to the container. A color code is visible when viewing the content surface. The color code is specified by the medical labeling standard for conveying information about the medicinal substance to be stored in the container, and the label content and color code render the label compliant with the medical labeling standard.

Abstract: A tag with a hook for securing a tag to a pair of eyeglasses having a frame and two hinged legs is provided. The eyeglasses tag includes a body, a foldable member, a hook, an adhesive area and, optionally, a bend line, a panel with identification information, an adhesive portion, a radio frequency identification (REID) device or electronic article surveillance (EAS) device and an aperture. An adhesive strip of the foldable member is foldably attached to the first leg of the eyeglasses and the first and second sections of the body are folded together and affixed by the adhesive area so that the first leg of the eyeglasses is disposed between the first and second sections of the body. The eyeglasses tag can include an adhesive portion on the front side of the tag for affixing the panel with identification information, the radio frequency identification (RFID) device or the electronic article surveillance (EAS) device secured to the body.

Abstract: A linerless duplex label system is operable to print and apply a linerless duplex label to a substrate. A plurality of linerless duplex labels are provided and each label includes a single-ply stock with top and bottom faces. The label also includes an endless adhesive border applied to the bottom face. The label is configured so that multiple labels can be removably adhered to each other by the adhesive border, with at least one linerless duplex label being removably overlaid onto at least one other duplex label.

Abstract: A tag assembly for securing a tag to a pair of eyeglasses that has a frame for holding a pair of lenses and first and second hinged legs. The tag assembly includes a tag, a label, a pad and a shrink tube. The tag includes a body that can have a hook extending from one end and a pair of slotted members extending from the front surface. The label has opposing side edges that are inserted into the slotted members. The pad has an adhesive side that secures the pad to the rear surface of the body and a friction side. The tag assembly is inserted in the shrink tube and receives one of the hinged legs of the pair of eyeglasses between the friction side of the pad and the shrink tube. The shrink tube secures the hinged leg in the tag assembly upon the application of heat.

A release layer is applied to a first region of the base panel that is overlaid by the first panel, with a second region of the base panel overlaid by the first panel being free of the release layer so that the portion of the laminating layer overlying the first region is releasable from adhesion to the base panel while a portion of the laminating layer overlying the second region is substantially permanently adhered to the base panel.

Abstract: The present disclosure and related inventions relate to a combination of gift wrapping paper and pre-cut pieces of adhesive tape. The gift wrap may be a single individual sheet that is wound around a tube or mandrel, otherwise known as roll wrap or it may be folded into neat, square or rectangular shapes, also known as flat wrap. Several pieces of pre-cut tape are provided on an adhesive backing sheet, from which the pre-cut tape can be easily removed. The tape may come in various shapes, sizes and colors. Alternatively, to/from stickers or adhesive seals may be provided in place of or in addition to the pre-cut strips of tape. The gift wrapping paper with tape is packaged together in shrink wrap, cellophane or other clear or transparent packaging material. The package may additionally include bows, ribbons, cards, scissors, gift wrap cutter or other gift wrap accessory.

Abstract: A system for providing a shipping label and a packing list on a container is provided which enables rapid and automated sequential application of a packing list and a shipping label to the container. The shipping label is configured complemental to the packing list whereby the packing list may first be adhered directly to the container and then the shipping label may be placed thereover. The shipping label may be applied over the packing list while the container moves continuously down a conveyor. The invention further includes an apparatus for sequentially applying the packing list and then the shipping label, and a method for applying the packing list and shipping label in registry.

A third layer is permanently bonded to the second layer and terminates adjacent the back cut, thereby exposing the back cut via the second layer. Abstract: An aluminum housing and methods of fabrication are described. The computer housing being suitable for enclosing a computer assembly. The aluminum housing includes an aluminum structural support portion covered by a thermoplastic elastomer material. The aluminum is first textured and anodized before an adhesive film is applied to an unsealed anodized aluminum surface. The thermoplastic elastomer material is then overmolded onto the pre-bonded aluminum structural support to provide a protective layer that is pleasing to the eye and touch.

Abstract: A drug administration safety device having a label configured to be attached to a drug container such as a syringe or IV bag, an adhesive on the back face of the label, and a backing or substrate for holding the label and protecting the adhesive prior to the application of the label to the drug container. In one embodiment, the label includes a first drug name section in a first orientation, a second drug name section in a second orientation, a third drug name section in a third orientation, a drug concentration section, a variable information section, and a gradiation viewing section. The first orientation, second orientation, and third orientation are different from each other to enable a user to readily see the drug name regardless of the position and orientation of the drug container.

Abstract: A label assembly comprising a plurality of labels on a carrier sheet wherein the carrier sheet has a bisector line and a perimeter line as follows: (1) the bisector line extends from a first edge of the carrier sheet to the opposing edge of the carrier sheet dividing the carrier sheet into substantially symmetric halves; and (2) a perimeter line that is closed upon itself and intersects the bisector line at two locations, dividing the carrier sheet into a frame portion and an array portion. The bisector line and the perimeter line divide the array portion into two backing segments. Also a method using such label assembly comprising folding the assembly along the bisector line and separating the frame portion of the carrier sheet from the array portion of the carrier sheet along the perimeter line.
