The front frame tube includes an upper tube part and a lower tube part while the joint assembly consists of a first part, a second part and a connection part. The first part and the second part are respectively sleeved and connected with the upper tube part and the lower tube part while the other end of the first part and of the second part is connected with the connection part. Moreover, a leaning support surface for leaning against the first and the second parts is formed in a slot of the connection part. Thus the upper and the lower tube parts are stopped by the leaning support surfaces when being extended while the first part and the second part are also supported. Therefore, the front frame tube is maintained and fixed in an extended state.

  • Patent number: 8028607
Abstract: A ratcheting tool including a handle formed with an integral yoke at a first end and a tool head coupled to the yoke at a pivot. The tool head has a toothed hub facing rearwardly of the pivot and into the yoke. A locking spool is rotatably carried in the yoke adjacent the toothed hub. The locking spool has a first face, a second face, and a first tooth extending along both the first face and the second face and engaging the toothed hub. The locking spool is rotatable between a first position in which the first face is adjacent the toothed hub, thereby locking the tool head in a selected angular position with respect to the handle, and a second position in which the second face is adjacent the toothed hub such that the tool head is pivotable about the pivot.

Abstract: A structural support for supporting equipment on a rooftop, which is connected to a frame and to equipment to be supported, comprises a mechanism connecting a base cap and a base connector of the structural support. One of the base cap and the base connector includes at least one plate and the other of the base cap and the base connector includes a pair of plates that receives the at least one plate allowing for pivoting adjustments of the base connector about the base cap when the at least one plate is received within an opening between the pair of plates to achieve desired positioning of the base connector. In one example, a pair of base cap plates is received by a pair of inwardly biased base connector plates. Once a desired position is achieved, a fastening assembly secures the position of the base connector. The structural mounting may also include, for example, a base support, a base flashing, and a rubber base gasket.

A head unit which includes a pivoting element that can be tilted about a horizontal pivoting axis and can be clamped in a desired tilted position is fixed to the upper end section of the column and an upper face of the pivoting element has a receiving element. This invention provides a stable inclined position by a simple manipulation. To achieve this, the head unit includes a bolt which extends into a longitudinal cavity of the profiled element and is fixed relative to the upper end section and in which the pivoting element is mounted.

  • Patent number: 7677599
Abstract: The invention relates to a swivelable roll bar, in particular for construction vehicles, with two vertical carriers, each of which has a pair of spars, whereby in each, one spar is connected swivelably through a link joint with the another spar, and the link joint comprises a lock and a stop. The stop consists of a joint stiffener, which is built as an extension of one spar and partially grips about the end of the other. In addition to that, the lock has a continuously adjustable final control element, with which the joint stiffener can be braced against the other spar. With the grip about the other spar, the flexural strength of the link joint of the swivelable roll bar is increased. Further, the bracing of the joint stiffener against the other spar eliminates the play in the link joint. The joint stiffener is preferably built as a U-shaped tubular segment that is attached to the latter as an extension of the spar.
