  • Patent number: 8684713
Abstract: A rotor type pump is provided. A rotor rotates and closely contacts an inner surface of a chamber, and a cam controls a sealing part, so that during a compression procedure, the sealing part, a convex surface of the rotor, and an inner surface of the chamber form a substantially hermetic space, and when a gas in the chamber is compressed to a set pressure, the compressed gas is guided out. Therefore, a smooth surface of the rotor closely contacts the inner surface of the chamber, and the gas in the chamber is compressed in a rotational manner, in which the to-and-fro movement of a piston is not required, and a dead point is prevented, so that operation is smooth and noise is not easily generated. Further, the rotor type pump does not need to use a lubricating fluid and offers extremely large compression capacity and excellent efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20120156081
Abstract: An improved structure of a central shaft in a pneumatic actuator comprises an actuator having an actuator chamber; a vane which is hingedly located at a shaft hole of the actuator. The central shaft is cylindrical and short, and the short central shaft has a through hole which is a through octagonal opening symmetric to a center thereof. It can be easily processed and precisely aligned. The advantage of the short central shaft is that the actuator itself can connect to non-pressured sources such as an upper and lower central shafts, and connect to different inserting drivers to form a central shaft as a unit in the pneumatic actuator to directly connect to a central shaft of a valve or indirectly through a connecting bracket instead of using a conventional connecting coupler. The octagonal opening provides alignment positions at every 45 degrees for the upper and lower central shafts to increase diversities of usage.

  • Patent number: 6120272
Abstract: A pump or motor 10 provides a housing 20 which carries one or more elliptical drivers 40 which rotate freely with an axle which is rotatably carried by the housing. One V-shaped rocker 60 is associated with each elliptical driver, and moves in an oscillatory motion in response to being driven by the associated elliptical driver. When used as a motor, fluid entering the housing tends to apply pressure to one side of the elliptical driver, while the other side is shielded from pressure by the V-shaped rocker. Uneven pressure causes the elliptical driver to rotate. As the elliptical driver rotates, the V-shaped rocker oscillates in a period manner at twice the frequency of the elliptical driver. The vertical height of the V-shaped is determined by an adjustable support 80, which allows regulation over the friction level and fluid seal between the rocker and the elliptical drive, and which allows adjustment to compensate for wear of the surfaces of contact between the rocker and the elliptical driver.

  • Patent number: 5375987
Abstract: A basic rotary vane mechanical power system, suitable for engines, pumps, compressors and the like, having an enclosed chamber housing a rotating hub plate, with the hub plate assembly supporting a plurality of spaced apart rotary vanes rotating on their own separate shafts and carried in a circular path by the hub plate assembly. The rotation of the hub plate assembly imparts rotation of the plurality of vanes within the enclosed, tight-fitting chamber, the angular rotation of the vanes being one-half of the angular velocity at which the hub plate and power shaft are rotating and transmitting power, or some other suitable ratio. During rotation of the vanes, the volume between the vanes increases and decreases, so that the volume of fluid within that space is contracted or expanded to drive the system or provide a source of power to the system or the working fluid.
