    Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material which comprises a support having coated thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow dye-forming coupler, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming coupler, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta dye-forming coupler and at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one non-diffusible silver bleach inhibitor selected from the group consisting of a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound having a thioether bond and a heterocyclic compound containing one or more nitrogen atoms which combine with a group containing 11 or more carbon atoms to form a quaternary salt, in combination with one or more heterocyclic thione compounds having a thione group which is not capable of forming a mercaptan.

    Abstract: This invention is directed to photographic elements having hydrophilic colloid layers containing loaded particles of from 0.02 to 0.2 micron in average diameter consisting essentially of a loadable polymer, with greater than 2 percent by weight of the polymer being derived from monomers capable of forming water soluble homopolymers. A hydrophobic photographic dye, coupler, developing agent or ultraviolet absorbing compound is loaded into and distributed through the particles. The weight ratio of the hydrophobic photographic dye, coupler, developing agent or ultraviolet absorbing compound to the loadable polymer is from about 1:4 to 3:1.

    Abstract: An activator-stabilizer precursor which comprises a certain acylhydrazine which releases a base moiety upon being heated to a temperature above about 130.degree. C. provides improved heat developable and heat stabilizable photographic materials comprising, in binder, and in reactive association, (a) a photosensitive silver salt, (b) a photosensitive silver salt developing agent, and (c) a stabilizing concentration of the described activator-stabilizer precursor having an acid portion and a base portion. The heat developable and heat stabilizable photographic element provides essential freedom from visual crystal formation in the processed photographic element. After imagewise exposure, a developed and stabilized image can be produced in the photographic element by heating the element to processing temperature.
