Abstract: A drawing device with a rotatable display screen is provided, having a housing having a cavity therein and a display screen sealingly rotatably coupled to the housing. An inner surface of the display screen forms an enclosure with the cavity. A powder is contained within the enclosure, the powder being removably adherent to the inner surface of the display screen. A first stylus controller is supported on an exterior of the housing. At least one positioning structure is supported in the enclosure and coupled to the first stylus controller to move a first stylus in a first set of directions that are parallel to a first axis. The first stylus removes the powder from the inner surface of the display screen through contact with the inner surface of the display screen.

Abstract: A system for learning an artist's style includes an artist database unit, a pupil gallery unit, an artist image providing unit to display an artist's content selected from the artist database unit, a pupil learning unit in which at least one smart layer and at least one user layer are overlaid and displayed, the at least one smart layer generated based on the elements of art that make up the selected artist's content and the at least one user layer providing an interface for recognizing a user input and supporting the writing or drawing, and a storage unit to store some or all of the at least one user layer as a pupil artwork in a portfolio.

Abstract: A method for identifying an occurrence of a concussion in a subject involves capturing eye blink raw data from at least one eye of the subject. The method next involves analyzing the eye blink raw data to generate at least a first subject specific eye blink metric and determining that a significant difference exists between the first subject specific eye blink metric and a predefined normal value. Next, the occurrence of the concussion in the subject may be identified, based on determining that the significant difference exists.

Abstract: In a system and method for producing a mosaic image, a printable substrate has a front side that defines a first area and a second area. Both the first and second areas are printable. A back side of the printable substrate features a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a backing. The first area corresponds to a region of a physical matrix of regions. A source image may be printed on the first area to define a tile and an address of the tile on the matrix of regions may be printed on the second area. The tile may be peeled from the backing separately from the second area to reveal the pressure sensitive adhesive. Users may adhere a plurality of tiles to the matrix of regions at the addresses on the second areas to define the mosaic image.

Abstract: A garment having an outer surface not designed for writing has at least one rewritable area comprising a layer of rewritable material deposited directly onto a selected region of the outer surface. One or more permanent artworks may be deposited onto the garment prior to deposit of the rewritable layer, which may be contiguous or non-contiguous. A stencil is provided for allowing a user to write on rewritable areas while protecting adjacent areas of the garment. In one method for forming the rewritable area, a first portion of a permanent artwork and a second portion of the permanent artwork are successively deposited on the garment, followed by curing the permanent artwork and depositing a rewritable area on the garment.

Abstract: A system and method for producing painted pictures is provided. The system includes a painting kit, including at least one utensil suitable for applying paint and a plurality of paints, one or more transparent sheets onto which the plurality of paints can adhere, a display device configured to display one or more of a series of images, a processor configured to store the series of images, and an adhesive configured to secure one or more of the one or more transparent sheets over the display device.

A carrier is attached to the cleats and routed between the corresponding pair of posts. A plurality of decorative components are supported by and suspended from the carrier between the posts. Self-expression and individuality are the cornerstones of this great democracy, so empowering our youth to create a full spectrum of colors from the basic color wheel fosters the pioneer spirit upon which America is built. Every single color imaginable can be created from a color wheel consisting of the three primary colors plus black and white. The Color Wheel Artistic Implement is novel because it places the world of colors in the hands of children cheaply, with minimal processing, and with no waste. Abstract: An illuminated marking device is described for use with colorless marking materials. The marking materials remain colorless until being transferred to a marking surface having a developer material disposed thereon that causes the marking material to develop a colored appearance. The marking material is contained within a marking device having a clear or translucent barrel and a lens integrated into a first end. The lens is tinted in a color similar to that of the developed color of the marking material. The first end of the marker is inserted into a light housing having a light source therein. Light from the light source is filtered by the lens and thereby illuminates the barrel of the marker in a color similar to that of the developed color of the marker. The glowing marker indicates the marking color of the marker and provides an enjoyable glowing experience.

In one embodiment, input representing a deposition of a first type of paint and a second type of paint on a canvas may be received. The first type of paint has a first set of fluid properties, and the second type of paint has a second set of fluid properties differing from the first set. In one embodiment, a motion of the first type of paint and the second type of paint on the canvas may be simulated dependent on the respective sets of fluid properties. The simulated motion of the second type of paint differs from the simulated motion of the first type of paint. An effect of the deposition of the paint may be determined dependent on the simulation. An image representing the effect of the deposition of the paint may be displayed.

Abstract: A kit for decorating snow that comprises a plurality of uniquely-colored volumes of particulate matter and a plurality of containers for storing and dispensing the particulate matter. The top and sides of said device are attached and are formed to accept drawing mediums such as chalk, water or dry erase marker used to color, write and draw upon this device. The drawing unit is spaced above the base platform so that the drawing cylinder may rotate about its center axis. Feet adhered to the bottom of the base hold the invention off the floor.

She inserts string or ribbon through top hem making the waist. The string is drawn to draw the waist together. The invention is for fun and to assist the creativity of the children in designing their own fashion. After the fabric is made into a skirt, the girl decorates it. She may use markers, sequins, applicades, ribbon or anything she likes. The girl then becomes a model. She can write a script, or a script can be provided for her. She can pretend to market her skirt as she models.

Abstract: One or more transparent or translucent sheets of cellophane are folded and cuts are made to create symmetric patterns and designs. The cellophane creates diffraction, refraction, interference, and reflection pattern of light that become strikingly visible when viewed under polarized light. The cellophane patterns and designs are placed on top of one another such that the holes in the overlapping sheets cause a variation in the path of light traveling through the layers of the cellophane, creating beautiful and varied optical patterns of light that change with the placement of the layers of cellophane and with variation of the angle of polarized light for a kaleidoscope effect. The cellophane is viewed against the backdrop of a blue sky to provide a source of polarized light.

Abstract: A method for embellishment placement is provided. More specifically, an automated method for determining placement of embellishments for an item, such as a jewelry item, is provided. In one embodiment, the method comprises, determining and setting values for parameters, creating offsets along a portion of the item to be embellished, setting points along the offsets, randomizing the points, adding decorative features to the item, and eliminating points based on the parameter values. After points violating the parameter values have been eliminated, the remaining points comprise positions for embellishments.

The first through fifth layers and the intermediate layer are superimposed over one another so as to display a simulated hair color that is produced when the first hair line, the second hair line, the colors of the two hair color preparations and the original hair color are displayed on the layers with respective transparencies and superimposed over each other. The RGB values of the superimposed colors produced by the two hair color preparations and the original hair color are stored in data storage sections. Input sections receive choices of the two hair color preparations and a mixing ratio for the simulation.

The fact that there are live judges to judge the event also makes this a “new” idea not currently in existence. Abstract: One aspect of the present invention provides a method for systematically arranging paint color samples for convenient browsing and identification of desired colors by shoppers. Paint color sample cards are arranged on a two-dimensional display surface such that colors of similar hue are categorized or grouped together (e.g., along a column). Groups of paint color sample cards having different base hue or color are arranged such that there is a gradual transition between paint colors from one region to the next region. For instance, the colors of sample cards may gradually change from column to column across a two-dimensional display. Additionally, within each color group, paint color sample cards are arranged from most chromatic to least chromatic colors. Another aspect of the invention provides for accent color sample cards to be displayed adjacent to the various base color groups.
