Abstract: A sports garment includes a cup portion that receives and conforms to a user's breasts, a base portion disposed along a bottom edge of the cup portion, a first strap portion disposed along a first side edge of the base portion, and a second strap portion disposed along a second side edge of the base portion. The first and second strap portions each include a shoulder strap that may be removably coupled to the cup portion to adjust the tension of the sports garment and a side strap that may be removably coupled to a front surface of the base portion to adjust the tension of the sports garment. The first and second side straps may flex between an open position and a wrapped position.

Abstract: A women's undergarment item including two cups in a front portion, optionally separated by a center gore, two wings in a back portion, a sleeve attached to one of the wings and to a cup edge via an elastic material, and two straps joining each of the wings to one of the cups, wherein the straps are configured to support an edge of the sleeve that begins on one of the cups and ends in one of the wings, is provided.

Abstract: A posture support garment includes: a shirt, shoulder band, and waist band. The shirt envelops the wearer's torso and shoulders, and is an elastic material configured to apply a first level of compression. The shoulder band is fixedly secured to the shirt to encircle the left and right shoulders of the shirt and crisscross at a back region, and is made of a first compression material configured to apply a second level of compression. The waist band is formed with a first portion that extends around the back of the wearer's waist and is made of the first compression material to apply the second level of compression, and a second portion that extends around the front of the wearer's waist, and is made of a second compression material configured to apply a third level of compression, where the third level of compression is less than the second level of compression.

Abstract: A headgear for use with a mask includes a first strap being configured to engage a back of a patient's head and extend on either side of the patient's parietal bone behind the patient's ears and assume, in use, a substantially circular or oval shape. At least a portion of the first strap is substantially inextensible. The headgear also includes at least one second strap configured to removably connect the first strap to the mask. The second strap may be more extensible than the first strap. At least a portion of the first strap is self-supporting such that the headgear maintains a three dimensional shape when not in use. The substantially inextensible portion of the first strap is constructed to resiliently return to a predetermined shape when not in use. The arcuate region includes a first portion that may be arranged to align substantially parallel with a top of the patient's head and a second portion being arranged to align substantially to a rear surface of the patient's head.

The adjustable support band has: adjustable straps comprising a slidable length adjuster, each of the straps being connected, at one end, to one pointed top apex of one of the cups, and an adjustable length lower support band portion arranged at the lower portion of the first and second cups and wrapping at least partially around the wearer.

Abstract: A maternity garment, or bodysuit, configured to provide support and comfort to a pregnant woman. The garment may include an opening in the front of the garment exposing the stomach, or belly, of a woman. The garment may further include reinforced or compression material that passes underneath the belly providing support to the belly. Additionally, a reinforced back panel may be positioned on the back of the garment to provide additional support to the lower back of a pregnant woman. Straps may extend over the shoulders and cross in the back. Furthermore, a support strap may pass under the breasts as well. The garment may include a seamless one-piece fabric and may be a bikini or thong cut back depending on a woman's preference to provide both comfort and style.

Abstract: A bra strap cover system is disclosed. The system includes a bra including at least one shoulder strap and a decorative bra strap cover. The shoulder strap of the bra includes a plurality of fasteners attached to its upper surface. The underside of the bra strap cover includes a plurality fasteners attached thereto. The bra strap cover is configured to be removably attached to the bra strap such that the bra strap cover substantially covers and overlies the upper surface of the shoulder strap.

In some cases, the supporting device further includes a first cross strap that is configured to extend around a first portion of a user's torso, the first cross strap being configured to attach to a first portion of the first breast cup and to at least one of the first breast cup connector and the first shoulder loop. The adjustment mechanism is suitable for bras having a cup portion, a body surround portion and a strap that is connected between the cup and body surround portions. The strap has a free end with a connector for attaching the strap to a body surround portion, which has a plurality of connection positions for to securing the connector to the body surround at a selected position. The body surround preferably includes an elastic segment that provides an expansion area in the body surround for maximum sizing flexibility upon closure of the bra or movement by a wearer.

The breast support garment includes a first breast cup connected to a second breast cup, a connecting band having a first end connected to the first breast cup and a second end connected to the second breast cup. A first strap is connected to the first breast cup at one end and to the connecting band at a second end, and a second strap is connected to the second breast cup at one end and to the connecting band at a second end. The first and second straps extend from the first and second breast cups in a direction opposing one another and are each secured thereto at an obtuse angle with respect to the connecting band. When worn by an individual, the first and second straps are positioned over the acromion process of the scapula, thereby providing securement and comfort to the wearer.

Abstract: An upper body undergarment with two wide strap or garment style shoulders connected to a full-support bra at two front points. The straps are made from any suitable material, and is widest at the points of attachment to the bra, in this case the front of the subject embodiment where it is stitched directly to the cups, or made removable as per the description of the back ends of the straps. The straps then taper towards the apex of the shoulders to fit the width of a wearer's shoulders. The cups of the brassiere can be of any method or material generally employed in the art of support bra construction. The side panels of the brassiere connect from the outer sides of the cups around to the back of the wearer, and also serve to connect to the wide strap or garment style shoulders. Restickable or repositionable adhesive is used to create adjustment, fastening, or closure, or removable or other attachment in the undergarment.

Abstract: A nursing device generally includes a strap having a first end and a second end. The first end may be permanently attached to a nursing garment and the second end provided with means for being removably attached to the nursing garment. The strap may thus be wrapped at least partially about a portion of the outer garment and retain it in a position that facilitates nursing.

Abstract: In one aspect a bra is provided, and includes a pair of cups that are self-supporting, a strap connected to each cup, a bridge connecting the inboard ends of each cup, and a band extending from the outboard end of each cup and configured to extend around the back of a wearer of the bra. Each cup is foldable along a fold line between an unfolded position wherein the cup covers a nipple of the wearer and a folded position wherein the cup exposes the nipple of the wearer, wherein, when the bra is worn by the wearer, each cup is stable in both the unfolded position and the folded position. In another embodiment a bra is provided with cups that are stable in both the folded and unfolded positions wherein the cups are not self supporting.

Abstract: A bra strap which has a double sliding adjusting buckle, allowing that the bra strap can be printed with a design on both sides; making the bra strap reversible. This allows these to be used when a desirable manner that they can be printed by the two sides when the designs are substantially identical or different and inverted relative to each other. The user can adjust the height of the bra by sliding the buckles without affecting the advertising displayed, wherein each bra strap is composed of a strap fabric, and a set of four buckles where these correspond to two buckles called “8s” two buckles called “Zs”, due to its shape and the function they perform. The “Z” buckles have an open portion allowing the strip or strap is attached to the bra for which are located at the ends and the “8” buckles are completely enclosed and allow making the adjustment in height without affecting the printed design, reason for which is located between the ends.

Abstract: An adjustable support brassiere comprises traditional bra elements—a bra band with closure; breast cups; and respective shoulder straps. Adjustability may comprise inner support cups having opposite ends being selectively attached on each breast cup, and a respective support strap being secured to each inner support cup, with a distal end of the support strap secured to an adjustment clip, which may releasably secure a portion of the shoulder strap. Adjustably securing different portions of the shoulder strap causes lifting and reconfiguring of the inner support cup to produce a desired amount of substantially vertical lifting to the woman's breast(s) in one embodiment, which is generally healthier for breast tissue than the typical inward displacement. Adjustments may be made by a woman throughout the day to alter her appearance as desired. Alternative embodiments permit lifting as well as inward/outward displacement, and may therefore serve as a minimizer.

Said wireless bra (1) ensures that the breasts are adequately supported and ensures a good shaping of the breasts.

Areas of the front portion are selectively provided with an inner ply, an outer ply, and an intermediate fabric ply. The intermediate fabric ply is formed of a relatively supportive material and is configured to be positioned along the top and lateral sides of a wearer's breasts.

Abstract: A sleeve material retaining loop is attached to or looped around a strap of a brassiere to retain gathered sleeve material or other items. One end of the sleeve material retaining loop extends out of the neck hole of the outer garment, and another end of the loop extends out of the arm hole of the sleeve above the shoulder of the wearer. The first and second ends of the sleeve material retaining loop are attached at the shoulder of the wearer to retain the sleeve. This helps prevent the sleeve from interfering with the wearer's movement and improves evaporative cooling of the wearer. A sleeve retaining loop storing mechanism stores the loop. Each sleeve retaining loop may be formed of separate interchangeable pieces that are attached to the brassiere. An additional piece of clothing may also be secured to a fastener on the brassiere.

Abstract: A breast-supportive and breast-positioning brassiere designed to be used postoperatively by patients including obese patients and fuller-sized women who have undergone cardiothoracic surgery that requires a mid-sternal incision (sternotomy). The brassiere is also for other interventions in the thoracic region, when a comfortable and efficient individual positioning and support of the breast(s) would be desirable; an example being to prevent symmastia after breast augmentation surgery. The brassiere prevents gravitation of the breast tissue to the lateral sides, keeps the breast tissue away from the mid center, and supports the weight of the breasts. The brassiere is designed to promote less pain, less wound complications, esthetically improved wound healing, less heat generation, improved wound inspection and access for wound care, while maintaining support and dignity.

Also provided is at least one tensor band laid out along one of the front and rear body portions in a manner intended to substantially correspond to at least one of the fascial lines extending along the upper body of the wearer. When the garment is worn by the wearer, the at least one tensor band may be placed in tension so as to provide proprioceptive feedback to the wearer during movement.

Abstract: A radiation treatment bra is disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, the bra includes adjustable elements and a medial window. During radiation treatment planning, the elements are adjusted to establish a reference breast geometry. The reference breast geometry is reproduced prior to an actual treatment session by repeating the original adjustment of the elements, as necessary. The medial window enables a light field to be projected onto the patient's chest, and read therefrom, thereby establishing proper alignment of the patient to the radiation treatment machine.

The side portions and a rear portion (20) may also be partially constructed out of a mesh material to allow for air flow to the skin.

Abstract: In one aspect a bra is provided, and includes a pair of cups that are self-supporting, a strap connected to each cup, a bridge connecting the inboard ends of each cup, and a band extending from the outboard end of each cup and configured to extend around the back of a wearer of the bra. Each cup is foldable along a fold line between an unfolded position wherein the cup covers a nipple of the wearer and a folded position wherein the cup exposes the nipple of the wearer, wherein, when the bra is worn by the wearer, each cup is stable in both the unfolded position and the folded position. In another embodiment a bra is provided with cups that are stable in both the folded and unfolded positions wherein the cups are not self supporting.

A plurality of countervailing forces simultaneously provide force on the shoulders, to bring them back and/or the shoulder blades closer together, and the breasts, to bring them closer together and/or lift them.

Abstract: A method, system, and kit for securing an undergarment strap to an outer garment with a decorative article. The decorative article includes an ornament and first and second stud members extending generally in first and second directions from the ornament and terminating in first and second stud ends. The method includes moving the decorative article in first and second directions to penetrate the surface of the outer garment with the first and second stud members, and continuing to move the decorative article generally in the first and second directions to penetrate the surface of the undergarment strap with the first and second stud members, thereby securing the undergarment strap to the outer garment by the decorative article. The kit includes a container including at least one article of jewelry including first and second stud members, an elongated base member including first and second apertures, and a plurality of protective covers.

Each slot has a width to allow loops of strap sections to pass through the slot between an operative orientation and an inoperative orientation. The operative orientation couples the strap sections with portions of the loops within the interior opening of the clasp in contact with the bearing surfaces. The inoperative orientation positions the strap sections exterior of the clasp.

Abstract: A comfortable bone-affixing structure for underwear is provided to reduce pressure and discomfort imposed to wearers by the underwear's boning members such as metal wires and plastic bones. The comfortable bone-affixing structure includes a continuous flexible tube made of fabric and a cushion fixedly attached to a channel portion of the flexible tube when the flexible tube is a single layer tube or to one of layers of the flexible tube when the flexible tube has a multi-layer scroll-like vertical section. In the bone-affixing structure, the boning member is received in a space that is within the flexible tube and adjacent to or separated from the cushion. With the cushion that separates the boning member from the wearer's skin, the pressure and discomfort imposed to the wearer by the boning member can be reduced.

Abstract: Swim tops having a friction locking cord adjustment system are described. The swim top may have a pair of friction locking adjustment terminal ends. Each friction locking adjustment terminal end may be secured to an end of one of a pair of neck cords of the swim top. The friction locking adjustment terminal ends may be slidably affixed to the opposing neck cord of the swim top to permit the fit of the top to be adjusted. The friction locking adjustment terminal ends may be comprised of adjustment buckles or slidable knots. Adjustment buckles may include two or more silicone coated pads having holes for threading the cords of the swim top. A friction enhancing pattern may be proximate to the holes of the adjustment buckles. The friction enhancing pattern may engage the cord passing through that hole when the swim top is worn to enhance the secure fit of the swim top.

Abstract: An imperceptible undergarment fabricated from a transparent material or a skin tone colored material. The clandestine material creates an illusion whereby the undergarment is not easily visible to onlookers. This discretionary look may be beneficial when a wearer is wearing low cut or minimal outer garments that do not fully cover the undergarment. Numerous straps, fasteners, and adjustment clasps provide myriad options for the wearer to adjust the imperceptible undergarment for a proper fit, and to further conceal the undergarment. The imperceptible undergarment may also be fabricated from a clear plastic or breathable fabric that is efficacious in dissipating heat and providing outlets for sweat in areas of high heat generation, such as the breast, the buttocks, and the groin area. A plurality of apertures, thin webbings, or pin holes strategically positioned throughout the imperceptible undergarment provides release points for the heat and sweat.

Abstract: A brassiere having at least one breast supporting cup where at least one breast-supporting cup has a frontal opening to expose the breast is disclosed. The breast-supporting cup includes a panel/flap that covers the opening and a part of which is releasably attachable to the shoulder strap of the brassiere when closing the opening so that on release the opening may be uncovered. The panel/flap is releasably attachable to the shoulder strap by a clasp on the shoulder strap that is movable up and down the shoulder strap to a selected position and has a clamping part so that it may be clamped at the selected position, thereby providing adjustment of the breast-supporting cup. The clasp incorporates a co-operative engagement device thereon for the releasable attachment of the panel/flap.
