Abstract: The present invention is directed to an adjustable bra having first and second bra cups; one or more adjustable back bands connected to the respective bra cups; first and second detachable shoulder straps connected at one end to the respective bra cups and connected at the other end to the adjustable back band or bands; a removable or non-removable underwire in each bra cup that is shorter in length than standard underwire; and a plurality of shoulder strap fastener receiving elements incorporated along an entire length of the back band or bands, wherein the shoulder strap fastener receiving elements are adapted to receive and attach the first and second shoulder straps anywhere along the entire length of the back band or bands, including to both single and double layer back bands to enable a wearer to adjust the fit and comfort of the bra to a wearer's breast size and dimension.

The first strap extends through the first panel. The second strap extends through the second panel. The first and second straps are looped together such that the first panel is attached to the second panel. The first and second straps form arm openings. A bikini bottom includes a third panel having a front edge, a back edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. A third strap is elongated and has a first end and a second end. The third strap extends into the front and back edges so that leg openings are formed between the third strap and each of the first and second side edges.

Abstract: A cushion insert having a cushion material, a support member, and a cover is provided. The cushion material is enclosed by an upper ply and a lower ply. The support member is disposed on the upper ply. The cover secures the support member to the upper ply so that the support member restrains expansion of the cushion material toward the upper ply.

Abstract: A lingerie strap and slide assembly has the central bar of the slide of set or recessed and formed with spikes to which the strap end is welded. The slide has its thickest portions at the centers of the transverse bars at which the central bar merges with the remainder of the slide. The strap passes around the central bar or directly through one of the slots to a ring and returns through that slot across the central bar and through the other slot in the slide to the shoulder of the wearer.

Abstract: A fabric securing system having a strip of flexible material for securing two pieces of fabric or clothing is disclosed. The system has at least a portion of one of its sides containing an adhesive material. Both sides of the system may contain an adhesive portion.

Abstract: A shoulder strap pad assembly is provided that includes: a top cover, a bottom cover, and a cushion filler. The bottom cover is laminated to the top cover to form an enclosure in which the cushion filler is secured. The top cover has a top fabric layer, a first adhesive web layer positioned below the top fabric layer and a first base layer positioned below the first adhesive layer on a side opposite that of the top fabric layer. The bottom cover has a second base layer, a second adhesive web layer positioned above the second base layer. The cushion filler has a cushion layer, a third adhesive web layer positioned above the cushion layer, a fourth adhesive web layer positioned below the cushion layer, and a third base layer positioned below the fourth adhesive web layer. In a preferred embodiment, the pad assembly is attached to a piece of fabric to form a channel in which a brassiere shoulder strap is positioned.

Abstract: A brassiere strap clasp is used to hold either a cloth strap or a bead strap. The brassiere strap clasp has a body and a clamp. The clamp is pivotally attached to the body and has multiple teeth that extend toward the body. The cloth straps and the bead straps can pass through the brassiere strap clasp and are held by the teeth on the clamp. Also, the brassiere strap clasp can be used to adjust the length of the strap.

Abstract: A ladies garment is composed of left and right cups 1, 2, and stretchable first and second tapes 5, 6 which are attached to a left side part 1a of the left cup 1 and a right side part 2a of the right cup 2 and which are put on in such a manner as to wrap the body from each side and across the back. The first tape 5 is attached to a top end 1b of the side part 1a of the first cup 1 and to a bottom end 2c of the side part 2a of the second cup 2. The second tape 6 is attached to a bottom end 1c of the side part 1a of the first cup 1 and to a top end 2b of the side part 2a of the second cup 2. The first tape 5 and the second tape 6 are arranged to cross over each other at the center of the back.

Abstract: A garment having edible components associated therewith can be made by stringing apertured edible items or candies onto fabric portions, for example, waistbands of panties, bikinis, etc. Strings of fabric can accommodate a variety of different types of edible materials and such materials can be of many shapes and sizes, in particular can reflect any particular holiday event in the year (e.g., hearts for Valentine's Day; shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day; pumpkins for Halloween, etc.). The garments can be re-used with or without rethreading edible items or candies of choice, and a kit for facilitating this practice forms one aspect of the present invention.

Abstract: A garment structure in the form of a brassiere, halter-top, or bathing suit for supporting an individual's breasts, and methodology for wearing the same that has a flexible breast support piece, a left and a right bottom connector and a left and right side connector. The garment structure may also include an additional left and right bottom connector and an additional left and right side connector. The connectors may be in a variety of forms such as hooks, eyes, buttons, openings, snaps, and rings, and are adapted to receive a variety of support components that may be in the form of straps, beads, or a scarf. The appearance of the garment structure may altered by changing the configuration of the support components.

Abstract: There is provided a brassiere that includes a body having a pair of breast cups, a rigid frame positioned adjacent to the side and bottom perimeters of the breast cups to act as a stabilizer for the breast cups, and a pair of back panels, each connected to an outer edge of the frame. Preferably, the frame supporting the breast cups is made of a rigid polyester material. The brassiere may further include a pair of shoulder straps.

The first surface preferably has an indicia thereon. Abstract: A neck protector for a taut ligature such as a bra or bathing suit strap. The neck protector is a perforated, generally elongate closed-cell foam body having unitary construction. The foam body is preferably a flat sheet having a length, a flat upper surface, a lower skin-contacting surface and at least four holes in the flat upper surface thereof. The four or more holes are symmetrically disposed laterally around the center of the flat upper surface along the length of the foam body. In use, the two opposing ends of a ligature are threaded downwardly through the outermost holes in the upper surface on each end of the foam body and are then threaded upwardly through adjacent respective holes in the lower surface thereof. The free ends of the ligature are then tied together with the lower skin-contacting surface of the neck protector positioned on the nape of the neck.

Abstract: A brassiere string assembly includes a brassiere string, an adjusting ring, two buckle rings and at least two slidable blocks. The string is elastic and made of transparent material, TPU. The adjusting ring is provided with at least four small holes in one half and at least two big holes in the other half. Each buckle ring is provided with at least two through holes in the upper section. Each slidable block is provided with a vertical hole respectively at both sides, and an ornamental article is provided on the outward surface of each slidable block.

By conforming to the shape of the shoulder, the strap provides and maintains a cushioning effect. The shoulder strap has a curvilinear shaped area that is wider than a conventional brassiere strap in order to increase the size of the load bearing region of the wearer's shoulder. This curvilinear shaped area has an outer cover that surrounds an interior hollow portion. This interior hollow portion is filled with a cushioning material. In a preferred embodiment, the cushioning material is a silicone gel.

Abstract: There is provided a brassiere strap made of a rigid fabric. The strap has a first surface with two or more rows of silicone gel. Preferably, the rows are in a straight axial line. The first surface preferably has an indicia thereon. The first surface positioned for contacting the shoulder of the wearer to prevent the brassiere strap from sliding off the shoulder of the wearer.

Abstract: There is provided a shoulder strap pad having a pad assembly and a fabric cover. The fabric cover is connected to the pad assembly along each side or axial edge by a binder to form an opening or channel therebetween. The shoulder strap of the brassiere is positioned in the channel formed by the fabric cover and the pad assembly. The shoulder strap pad is movably positionable anywhere along the shoulder strap of the brassiere, thereby maximizing the comfort level provided to the wearer. The fabric cover has a first end positioned toward the front of the wearer and a second end positioned toward the back of the wearer. The first or front end is cut along a diagonal on one end to provide a larger opening for receipt of a brassiere shoulder strap. This diagonal first end also facilitates easier movement of the shoulder strap pad along the brassiere shoulder strap.

Abstract: A convertible brassiere that converts from the general brassiere configuration to a backless configuration that is not visible when wearing backless apparel. Interchangeability of the present invention relates to certain features of construction to provide an end product of a backless brassiere. In a preferred embodiment, the backless configuration is achieved by manipulating and positioning the shoulder straps and the horizontal back strap of the brassiere. The shoulder straps are detached from the horizontal back strap and attached to the base extremities of the brassiere cups to convert to the backless configuration. Further, there are open vertical slits, within the brassiere cups, into which the extended ends of the unattached horizontal back strap is inserted when converting the brassiere to the backless configuration.

The bra has straps that resemble an article of clothing or match an article of clothing. In one aspect of the invention, a bra has straps that look like an article of clothing. The straps can be formed of a uniform material composition along the entire length, i.e. no portion made entirely of elastic. The straps could be wider or thinner than a normal bra strap. In another aspect of the invention, a bra has straps that match an article of clothing, i.e. have the same color or a color that plays off of the color of an article of clothing, and/or contains a design that is identical to or plays off of the color or design of an article of clothing. Also, the straps may look like an article of clothing as opposed to a conventional bra strap.

Abstract: A therapeutic brassiere is disclosed being constructed of a one piece directional elastic material. The direction of elasticity of the material is more stretchable in the up and down direction than the lateral direction as seen from the front of the wearer, the elastic material includes self-forming cups when worn by a person. Each of the cups has an apex from which shoulder straps emanate to pass over the shoulder of the wearer to cross in the back and being attached to lateral edges on the opposite side of the brassiere. At the lateral sides of the brassiere, fasteners are placed which fasten to corresponding fastener located on the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are widened at their ends and are also reinforced at that location. The cups receive pads in the shape of a tear drop with the major part of the shape of the tear drop being located at the lateral sides of the brassiere.

The adhesive is a second adhesive web layer positioned between the stretchable base layer and the first cushion layer to secure the cushion filler to the cover, and a third adhesive web layer positioned on the first cushion layer to secure the bottom fabric to the cushion filler.

Abstract: A system for repairing a brassiere for replacing broken brassiere buckles and attachment rings. The system includes a connector member for removably coupling the shoulder strap to the front portion of the brassiere. The connector member defines an interior for removably receiving a portion of the shoulder strap and a portion of the front portion. The connector member includes a base portion having a base side adjacent the interior of the connector member, and a pair of arm portions extending from the base section such that the interior of the connector member is defined by the base portion and the pair of arm portions. The connector member also includes a pair of constrictor portions, each of the constrictor portions being mounted on one of the arm portions. The constrictor portions extend generally toward each other. Each of the constrictor portions has opposite ends, with one of the ends of each of the constrictor portions forming a constricted gap therebetween.

Abstract: A laminated stretch cushion strap assembly having a stretchable cover, a stretchable cushion filler and a stretchable bottom or bottom fabric. The cover includes a stretchable top fabric, a first adhesive web layer positioned on one side of the top fabric and a stretchable base layer positioned on the first adhesive layer on a side opposite that of the top fabric. The stretchable bottom fabric forms with the cover an enclosure. The stretchable cushion filler is adapted to be completely enclosed within the enclosure. The stretchable cushion filler has a first cushion layer, and adhesive for securing during lamination the cover to the stretchable cushion filler, and the cushion filler to the stretchable bottom fabric. The adhesive is a second adhesive web layer positioned between the stretchable base layer and the first cushion layer to secure the cushion filler to the cover, and a third adhesive web layer positioned on the first cushion layer to secure the bottom fabric to the cushion filler.

Abstract: The invention comprises a fastener mountable on a brassiere strap, either removably or permanently. A brassiere strap mounted on the fasteners can be removably affixed to a location on the posterior strap assembly and a location on the anterior cups of a brassiere. Use of the fasteners permits adjustment of the brassiere straps into a plurality of different arrangements, depending upon the shape, outfit and activity of the wearer. The brassiere straps and fasteners can be made of transparent or translucent materials which may be color tinted so as to appear virtually invisible against the wearer's skin. The brassiere straps can also be removed from a brassiere altogether.

Abstract: An improved brassiere is disclosed that provides a high level of comfort, wide ranging adjustability and improved breast support while minimizing fatigue and improving the posture of the user using a support system which includes strategically attached shoulder straps which cross in the back at a unique swivel. Each shoulder strap is detachably attached at one end to the top of a breast cup, and attached at the opposite end to the side of the opposite cup. An adjustable coupling is provided between the cups. The adjustable swivel includes a pair of pivotally attached short flat hollow sleeves for slidably receiving the shoulder straps. Because the shoulder straps are slidably disposed in the sleeves of the swivel, it will move up or down slightly as the wearer moves, stretches, bends over, etc. In the preferred embodiment, no boning, wire or elastic is used.

Abstract: A garment fastener, especially for brassieres, with a press-button action and configuration, utilizes a pair of circular members welded to the garment and through which the fabric is visible and a circular member attached to the strap and forming a press connection with either of the two circular members attached to the fabric.

Abstract: A reusable backless, strapless, one-piece bra. The bra comprises an underwire, a light-weight aluminum layer and a rubber foam layer, the light weight aluminum layer being positioned between foam rubber layers. The aluminum enables the bra to be molded to fit the contours of each person. The foam is bonded to the skin with double-sided, disposable dermal adhesive tape. The tape is applied horizontally across the bottom of the bra and attached to the rib cage just beneath the breast. A pad may be provided on an inner surface of the bra to give the appearance of enhanced breast size.

Abstract: Non-woven, non-shiny, and substantially transparent clothing straps and a method for their use with apparel worn under loosely fitting sleeveless outer garments, undergarments used with sheer outer clothing or outer clothing having narrow shoulder straps or cutouts therein which would otherwise readily reveal undergarment straps, and other apparel to give a strapless illusion to it. The straps are made from flexible, resilient, but non-stretchable material and could be permanently attached to a garment or made to be easily and readily detached from it. In the most preferred present invention embodiment the straps would be made from a substantially non-stretchable polyurethane material. Optionally, even though the strap material itself would resist longitudinal folding, a short stretchable extension could be inserted between one end of the strap and the garment to which it is attached to help the strap resist twisting and lay in an essentially flat, more comfortable and discrete position during use.

Abstract: Disclosed is a string adjuster in brassiere and body suit, which connects the brassiere and the body suit together through one string. The string adjuster includes a fixing hole, which is formed at the upper portion thereof and fixed at a front end of the string adjusting portion, and first and second hooked holes which are formed under the fixing hole and have an open end for inserting and hooking loops of the brassiere and the body suit. The above structure of the string adjuster provides good sense of wear and prevents the connected portion from projecting.

The set may be purchased together and would include one or more undergarment foundation articles of clothing, such as a women's brassiere, and a number of distinct strap sets, each of the strap sets having at least one strap and preferably two. Each of the straps within a set have strap connectors at each end that are removably attachable to strap attachment points on the undergarment itself. The different strap sets within the garment set are distinct, one for the other, in that the fabrics, colors, textures, sizes, and shapes are distinct. The individual wearing one of the undergarment foundations and the associated strap accessories may choose to match an outer garment worn in conjunction with the foundation or may choose to appropriately contrast the straps of the undergarment from those of the outer garment.
