Abstract: An in-browser proxy enables an application in a frame to make a cross domain request. The proxy executes within the browser, which has a first domain. The browser provides a frame in which a client application executes, which has a second domain. The request from the client application is a request for data access to the external domain. The proxy identifies a registration of the client application, and forwards the request to the external domain. The proxy receives a response to the request and provides the response back to the client application within the frame.

  • Patent number: 9485241
Abstract: A communication network processes intermediate security data from intermediate access nodes on a communication path between a network access node and an end-point device to determine if the intermediate access nodes are authorized. If the intermediate access nodes are authorized, then the network processes end-point security data from the end-point device to determine if the end-point device is authorized. If the end-point device is authorized, then the network processes end-point tethering data from the end-point device to determine if any tethered communication devices are coupled to the end-point device. If the end-point device is not coupled to any tethered communication devices, then the network authorizes a data transfer session for the end-point device over the communication path. If the end-point device is coupled to a tethered communication device, then the network denies authorization for the data transfer session over the communication path for the end-point device.

  • Patent number: 9438359
Abstract: The automated switching of broadcast sources of an audio content stream based on the geographic location of the physical unit that is receiving the audio content stream. For instance, while rendering a particular audio content stream from a first broadcasting source, a system may have an identity of one or more alternative possible broadcasting sources available for the same audio content stream for that relative geographic location. In response to some decision making, the system may decide to switch broadest sources for that audio content stream. Thus, the user continues to listen to the audio content stream without being subject to possible negative consequences of continuing to listen to the audio content stream as received from the original broadcast station. Data transmitted by the broadcast stations themselves need not be relied upon. Thus, the automated switching is accomplished even outside of regions in which broadcast stations transmit such data.

Abstract: The present invention is designed to detect an S-cell efficiently, in a short time, upon carrier aggregation in a HetNet. In a communication system where carrier aggregation is executed between a first carrier (CC #1) and a second carrier (CC #2), a macro base station apparatus (20A) generates a carrier detection signal that makes a mobile terminal apparatus (10) detect the second carrier (CC #2), such that carrier aggregation is executed with the first carrier (CC #1), and transmits the carrier detection signal to an RRH base station apparatus (20B) such that the carrier detection signal is transmitted from the RRH base station apparatus (20B) to the mobile terminal apparatus (10) in the second carrier (CC #2) in which the carrier detection signal can be allocated with a higher density than a reference signal of the first carrier (CC #1). The macro base station apparatus (20A) detects an S-cell based on the received quality of the carrier detection signal fed back from the mobile terminal apparatus (10).

  • Patent number: 9253711
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements for facilitating an efficient connection setup. The present invention specifies rules for defining the signaling of connection setup messages from user equipments such as to apply one single transmission if an assigned uplink transmission grant for transmitting the connection setup messages is sufficiently large while applying separate transmissions if the size indicated in said uplink transmission grant is not sufficient. Thus, a sufficiently large grant allows a parallel execution of the connection setup messages.

  • Patent number: 9240972
Abstract: A method to improve the registration of “Permanently Registered Users” (User1, User2, . . . User500) in an NGN-IMS subsystem. The permanently registered users are coupled to the IMS subsystem via a group device (AGW1, IP-PBX, SIP/H.323 GW) that is registered in the IMS subsystem as a dedicated IMS virtual user by means of its IMPI/IMPU identifier. The HSS/UPSF server is then allowed to download the user profiles in bulk. This results in fewer loads on the IMS and in a shortened start-up time of the group device(s).

Abstract: A system for detecting one or more signals at a PCI Express interface includes a receiver configured to receive a signal at the PCI Express interface, and a peak detector configured to detect one or more signals based on level sensing, and identify one or more data sampling points to set an amplitude threshold. A comparator is configured to compare an amplitude of the received signal with the amplitude threshold, and a processor is configured to confirm that the received signal is a valid signal when the amplitude of the signal is at least one of greater than or equal to the amplitude threshold over a predefined period of time. The processor is also configured to disable a signal detector that can detect one or more low frequency signals. The system also includes a tester configured to test whether the detected signal is correct.

  • Patent number: 9235701
Abstract: A light-operated electronic equipment and a mobile electronic device for controlling an electronic equipment with light are provided. The light-operated electronic equipment with a light sensing receiving unit and a control unit is controlled by the mobile electronic device with a light source, a light control code module and a light display process module. Besides, further provides a process method of performing system registration by a light control way. By the process method, an information process device receives the input of the light signal through a transmission equipment, such that the light sensing receiving unit of the transmission equipment converts the brightness change of the light signal into the electric control code for the control unit of the transmission equipment to receive the electric control code and transmit the electric control code to the information process device through a transmission interface.

  • Patent number: 9164932
Abstract: A protocol engine (PE) for processing data within a protocol stack in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is disclosed. The protocol stack executes decision and control operations. The data processing and re-formatting which was performed in a conventional protocol stack is removed from the protocol stack and performed by the PE. The protocol stack issues a control word for processing data and the PE processes the data based on the control word. Preferably, the WTRU includes a shared memory and a second memory. The shared memory is used as a data block place holder to transfer the data amongst processing entities. For transmit processing, the PE retrieves source data from the second memory and processes the data while moving the data to the shared memory based on the control word. For receive processing, the PE retrieves received data from the shared memory and processes it while moving the data to the second memory.
